Shortland Horne Reviews

Excellent service especially from Alisha, I found her to be particularly efficient with my queries and overall very friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Brilliant company and worth trusting! Recently spoke to a lady called Alisha on the phone with any concerns I had and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Paige has been very supportive in our hunt for a property to rent, very knowledgeable and helpful.

Paige was so helpful when we were asking about rentals. We called up keen to go on the mailing list and she was so polite from the start and we are excited for our property hunt with her guiding us.

Throughout my workings with Shortland Horne, all aspects have been a positive experience. This includes the service level and the genuine manner their staff conduct themselves through a transaction. Highly recommend.

First time we have used Shortland Horne in the 35 years we have been Landlords. Really impressed with the speed Claire came out to take photos and market the property. A tenant was found in less than a week and it was just before Christmas so usually a difficult time for letting. Will definitely be contacting Claire if one of our other properties becomes empty.

Shortland Horne were great in their delivery for selling our property, at a time when it was difficult for most to sell. They made the process easy and simple to follow and were straight to the point when requesting information. My guess is that they are one of the best at being able to sell a home, since there seemed to be regular interest and viewings, and my friends selling at the same time had a much harder time gaining any interest with other Estate Agents. I would definitely use again based on this.

My only reservation was that I felt left out of the loop a lot with what was going on, and didn't get very regular or thorough updates. Often I'd had to phone up or email in order to see where we were. For the most part this was not an issue, but each time I received an offer I wasn't contacted for a week to discuss it. On one occasion a few days after the offer was made and I hadn't heard anything, and then the offer was rescinded. This was frustrating at times, because even though there may have been legitimate reasons for this, I was not kept in the loop and it was stressful trying to figure out what was going on. Also the viewing updates via email were not very helpful if I'm being honest (e.g. Have more properties this week to see before making any decisions.), especially in the absence of a phone call.

I liked our main contact at Shortland. She was helpful and very professional. I think every time she was away on holiday was when we had these communication issues, where no one really picked it up.

Overall I'd recommend to anyone selling. But just be aware you may have to keep on top of them a little bit.

Hi,just to say Andy at Shortland Horne, was fantastic, got right property recently, thanks to Andy, definitely use him again!👍

Open communication all the time. Got back to you when they promised. Quick and easy. Especially Shelly who was very helpful.

I have rented through Shortland Horne for many years now. The service has been excellent, they are reactive to any issues i may experience, i would thoroughly recommend this letting agent for their professionalism

I have had dealings with Will and Laura who are the consummate professionals, know what they are talking about, do what they say they are going to do and clearly care about their clients and doing the right thing. Would not hesitate to use the again.

I initially contacted Shortland and Horne to enquire about letting a property. I spoken with Claire Reeve I believe she is the manager. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the information and advice that I received. I would highly recommend this company to friends and family in the future.

Paige was brilliant and kept us updated throughout the process, made it so smooth and easy. Thanks Paige!

I dealt with Sue Costello from Walsgrave Road Branch from the beginning of my journey in selling my home, when she came to give me a valuation.
She gave me a realistic market price and even though it was not as high as I wanted, I went with it, and within 3 weeks it was sold.
Sue is a true professional and at any point when I was not clear as to what was happening with the Lawyer, Sue stepped in and got back to me straight away with an up date.

I would recommend Shortland Horne at Walsgrave Road to anyone looking to sell their home. You will be treated to a professional, accurate and thorough experience.

Been renting with shortland horne for a couple of years now. Excellent service and professionalism. Alisha is always helpful and polite

My recent experience with shorthand horn was nothing but outstanding , I would like to personally mention the outstanding service I received from Andy , nothing was to much trouble , he was attentive , and very knowledgeable I would highly recommend this company five stars are just not enough !!

Having moved back to the area a colleague recommended Shortland Horne to find a property to rent. They didn't disappoint, we found them to be completely professional, we were happily looked after by Claire Reeve who managed the process of us renting our property. We found her to be genuine, helpful and consistent in all communication making us fully aware throughout each stage. Any questions we had she responded quickly to the point of going above and beyond when we had an issue within our family regarding a long term rent our mother had been in before going in to care. Claire offered us impartial yet invaluable advice that enabled me to secure the return of our mother's deposit that was being unfairly held by another company.
Given our previous bad experiences with other letting agents we can confidently confirm we are thoroughly happy and will recommend Shortland Horne to others.
And if you can ask for Claire

They knew that it was important to us to complete asap and the delivered

I recently went to view a property for the first time and was unsure of how to go about this. As soon as I phoned up I was put through to one of the staff, Alisha. She was very helpful and helped me with any questions I had. All responses were professional and were such a help.

Great experience overall, very helpful, especially Claire, thanks again!
