Always helpful, always accommodating to asks and needs

Firstly, Hidden costs as we had to pay for a cylinder lock. When booking it asked us to buy a padlock, only to find we need a cylinder lock. This was the closest option for us but ended up being £43 more expensive based on two months and including the introductory offers.

The manager although polite wasn’t able to help resolve in anyway and with it being late on a Saturday of the bank holiday weekend and already having booked etc, we were unable to change to the cheaper booking. Also a lack of information by email, even a sales call but not information on how to access the storage! This meant we had to go back a forth between sites to sign up when it was sold as an automated easy online sign up.

Joe was very helpful, from the moment I walked in the door. He asked about my requirements, showed me the units, and was very clear about the breakdown of costs.

Really helpful and friendly staff. Answered all my questions with patience and understanding. The site was clean and tidy on all visits. The app was easy to use and all electronic security worked on all visits. Invoicing was on time and pricing clear from the start. All-in-all, a straight forward experience.

Been a customer for a couple of years and all queries dealt with efficiently. We moved units smoothly at short notice with the South Croydon branch and it was really easy to do.

I have recently have minor access issues with the new app.

I needed to get something out of storage and only had 1 day to visit the storage facility. I was distressed when I arrived as I couldn’t assess my storage unit, it turns out I had brought the wrong keys!!! Darren saved the day by changing the barrel and fitting a new one and I was able to access the storage which saved a lot of stress for me.I didn’t mind the additional cost, as it meant I averted a potential problem arising if I couldn’t access the storage unit on that day. You are my super hero Darren. Thank you. 🤩

I recently rented a unit at the South Croydon site and found the process very easy and the prices reasonable. When I went to collect the keys, the staff member was helpful and friendly. He showed me to my unit, explained everything carefully, and ensured that I was all set up.

I also appreciated the app used to access the automatic gate, which works well. The site is impeccably clean and modern, and I feel very comfortable leaving my valuables there. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service I've received and would highly recommend Shurgard.

Booked with agent on the phone , polite and helpful

The guys at Shurgard (South Croydon) have been terrific. From helping me sort out my unit, getting my security sorted out, to assisting me to fix my trike & letting me ride in their car park to gain my confidence. Above & beyond what they needed to do. Overwhelmed by their kindness.

Checked in a couple weeks ago now and the team couldn’t have been more helpful!! I needed a bigger locker than the one originally booked and moving was no issue. Team were great!! 100% recommend!

7 months in to the contract the rental is hiked up by £30 per month.
Just be aware when the initial rental appears to be a good deal

Well i had to cancel my current contract and start a new contract due to forever increasing rental costs, the funny thing is i had to move my belongings into a new unit on the same floor of exactly the same size, i explained that they were the same size units and asked if common sense could come into place, the response was i had relocate to the new unit and there was nothing they could do, so off i went and relocated my belongings into the new unit literally on the same floor....where did common sense come into play...

All round great customer service

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The entry system was a bit complicated with doing through the app however, everybody was very helpful to help me out. Overall a good service
