That is until I had an email from Dan at Gordon Bennett who had taken action immediately and refunded me and apologised. What good service. No hassle. Thank you Dan. This company really cares.

Hello Elizabeth. Thank you for your review. Sorry to hear that you haven't received your parcel yet. Appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We say 3-5 working days for delivery, but usually that is much quicker. Just to recap, we received your order Monday 17th Nov, dispatched next working day Tue 18th Nov, so we'd normally expect your parcel to be there by today, Tues 25th Nov at the latest. We use Royal Mail Tracked 48, which is a very reliable service (no lost parcels for 12 months, and relatively few delays) so I am very sorry that your parcel is the exception. I can see on the tracking that for some reason it has been delayed in transit but it is still moving and is at your local depot as of 2.50am this morning. Now you've flagged this with us we can monitor progress and get the best result. If the parcel does become lost we will replace it. But we're sure it is nearing delivery now. Will open a ticket, email you, and we can continue our conversation there. Thanks for your patience and thanks again for bringing it to our attention. Yours Dan & Neil

My order was a special birthday gift…
My order was a special birthday gift for a dear friend. I emailed after ordering in a panic that the order wouldn’t come in time for the birthday (my own fault for not being more organised) Dan’s response was incredibly thoughtful and re assuring, not only that to make sure I did receive the order in time he upgraded the delivery with no extra cost so the order actually came 2 days early! He communicated with me throughout and checked in after delivery that the gift was ok. An exceptional amount of care and attention was taken by Dan and I couldn’t be happier nor recommend them enough. Very rarely do you get good customer service like this and feel so valued.

Excellent service. Through no fault of anyone, my order was lost in the post. However, Dan and the team with incredibly responsive and got a replacement shipped out immediately. He follwed up as well to make sure that I received it and was happy with the product. Very impressive.
