SIXT Shlomo Reviews 

I am still reeling from the horrible, awful, stressful experience picking up our car from ShlomoSixt in Jerusalem (on King David St) this morning.
Although we had reserved the car in advance, picking it up took 90 (!) minutes - totally unacceptable! After about an hour we made a comment to the lady at reception, who had the cheek to blame US (apparently we should arrive earlier next time).
When we went to the garage to pick up the car - now nearly 80 minutes after we had arrived - I asked the attendant to pls finish up everything quickly as we were now late for an appointment. I have never in all my life seen anything like his reaction. He started yelling at me (in Hebrew) that he doesn't work for me, and threw a hissy fit. He took pictures of all the dents and scratches on the car without saying another word to us, but stomped around the car aggressively, stuck something on the roof and then when he turned around to leave, SPAT on the floor (!). When we came to leave the parking lot, we couldn't find the ticket. Eventually it turned out that the thing he had slammed onto the roof was the ticket, which he had not explained to us and which we had to struggle to get off the roof.
To add insult to injury, the car was in a disgraceful state - absolutely full of scratches, nicks and bumps and dirty in the trunk. It is not fit to be used as a hire car.
This was truly the worst customer service I have experienced anywhere, any time. We are first time customers and will NOT be using ShlomoSixt again. Nor should you.

Very bad customer service. The car didn't start at the morning after rental, customer service didn't refund the missing hour it took for an alternative car to arrive. They don't return phone calls, and they threaten you with law suit if you leave them bad reviews...

This company is the worst rent a car that i ever used they are a bunch of liars. their cars are destroyed, dirty that you feel you are in a garbage can. In September 16th a rent a car in the office in Herzelyia Pituah , the clerk there Noam Babagani was the one that "Help me" , he was lying to me from the beginning ,I made the full coverage insurance , he told me With that I don't have anything to worry. anyway he block $ 1500 dollars from my credit card when i realized that I went back to the office to ask. for a receipt wich they refused to give me . I call the police , but they were making fun of the police. I recommend anybody to never rent a car from this company.

Last month, I rented a car for 2 weeks from SixT Shlomo. The reservation was booked through Expedia.
Pickup was fast and easy. I was out by the car within 10 minutes.
The Toyota Yaris had 1600km on it and was in pristine condition. I had no problems with the car.
Dropoff was likewise quick and hassle-free. I waited a few minutes extra for the confirmation of no damage to the car.
Staff was great during both pickup and dropoff.

We reserved a big 7 seater plus space for 2 big luggages and 2 small ones at a huge rate per day - 700euros for 4 days.
Instead they brought us a car as small as a fiat punto. You could not fit even 5 people in as there were like 2 cm in between driver seat and so called middle seats.
As we refused it they made us take a 10 year old 8 seater van which they claimed was a 9 seater, rusty, smelly, dirty inside, dusty inside, trembled all the way, consumed a ton of gas and the clutch gave up after 50km!
We asked to cancel the next 2 days and for them to take the broken van. They refused, keeping us blocked in the city unless we accept a different supposed 7 seater.
At 10pm finally came, and brought us another 4 years old mini car in which u had to keep your legs to your chest and feet off the ground to fit in it, cuz they stuck instead of luggage space 2 seats in which you couldn't sit at all which block the middle seats from moving backwards enough.
The guy who picked it up, an israeli arab, refused to give us papers that he took the broken down car.
Now we have to drive all the way to renting place to return this mini car and see if they will cancel the contract for the last 2 days. We are unable now to go on a trip which we take every year when we come visit our family here. It is disgraceful!
NEVER renting from them again.
After 6 years of being satisfied, they have totally dropped their quality of service and quality of car fleet.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM!

Awful.Cheaters.Do yourself a favour to choose from so many other reliable and professional car rental companies.

First of all I had to wait almost an hour to get my car 2nd of all I paid for tire insurance When I came back with a flat tire they charged me 526 nis since it was a different kind of flat(the pin to pump the air broke witch was not my fault either way)

Absolutely never rent from Shlomo Sixt. The worst ever experience. Took ages to try and get deposit back after speaking to absolutely rude people. Very unpleasant experience. Customer service also was no help and very rude. Never again.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND JUST TAKE A DIFFERENT COMPANY THAT KNOW SERVICE!!!!!

THEY GAVE ME A CAR WITH A LIGHT THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM AND I NEED INSPECTION. I TOLD THE GUY AND HE SAID "DONT WORRY"!!

OF COURSE WE GOT STUCK!!!
WITH 3 KIDS IN THE CAR AT 9PM!!!!!!
THE COMPANY SAID IT CAN TAKE A FEW HOURS AND WE SHOULD WAIT. THE NEXT DAY WAS RUINED ALSO AS WE WERE STUCK WAITING!!!!!'

Worst company ever, dont learn the hard way. pay the extra few dollars. you will pay in the end. Their insurance is worthless. I've only had bad experiences with them and their service. Stay away!!!

If I could give them zero stars I would, terrible customer service, ordered a car for 10.30am no car said it would be an hour still nothing, waited more than 4 hours, still nothing. My day was ruined as I had plans. Called the main office to complain they were rude not even a sorry. Just a lame attempt to justify their terrible customer service. Don't waste your time with them.

Avoiid at any case Shlomo in Jerusalem.
there are lyiers, they will steal you
you will pay 3 times the initial prices and they will charge you for the caution.

they have many cases and this company must defintivly close
a collective case is engaged by the court
this illegal business must be ended !

I feel I have to write this after being scared by so many terrible reviews before we rented here!
We booked a car through Shlomo Sixt a few days before travelling to Israel because they were the cheapest option. I then checked out the reviews and was petrified that it would go terribly wrong!
But when we arrived the service was great, very friendly, and picking up the car was a quick and painless process. We made sure to take lots of pictures of the car and made it obvious that we were doing so. We also told them that we'd be driving on route 6, and they said that there's an automated toll and there would be a small charge added to our credit card at the end of the month.
All went well over the next few days, and we dropped the car at the airport with absolutely no hassle and with plenty of time to spare before catching our fight. The credit card payment went through on time with no surprises.
Great service, great car, no complaints!

Sadly, the feedback regarding Shlomo Sixt is almost uniformly negative and the volume of complaints against Shlomo Sixt indicates the poor quality and costumer satisfaction.

The willingness of employees to solve problems does not exist. Suggestions of the customer are not considered. Suggestions of employees are not made, as they do not seem to have the authority to make decisions on their own and/or are not sufficiently qualified to do so. This leads to endless discussions between customer and employees that lead to nothing, as the employee is suddenly "tired" of talking to the customer and/or becomes extremely rude.

I have had this experience in the Jerusalem office unfortunately and it took me about 5 hours (on two consecutive days)...

So avoid booking a rental car at Shlomo Sixt.
