Gr8 it was pretty good , gave multiple options, I would recommend adding total price as the actual booking they add more charges.

The ticket price is very cheap

The ticket price is very cheap, but the bank card processing fee is very high. Others are very hood.

Prices on Skyscanner always include an estimate of all mandatory taxes and charges. Regarding payment fees, airlines or travel agents offer at least one free payment option (usually it’s the most popular card in your country), however, they might charge fees for other payment methods. Since you have at least one option to avoid these fees, we don't include them in our prices.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Flight Rescheduled Without Notice, No Support, No Refund

Dear Support Team,

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding my recent booking and to demand a full refund of the amount paid, along with appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and financial loss caused by your company and the airline.

The flight rescheduling was made without my consent and entirely due to your and the airline’s failure to fulfill the original booking. This has disrupted my travel plans, caused considerable stress, and led to additional financial costs — especially since the delay in refund processing resulted in a significant increase in current ticket prices.

In addition to this, I am extremely disappointed by your lack of proper customer support. Despite my repeated requests for someone to call me directly, I never received a single call. I also asked for a direct contact number, yet the only option you provide is an online chat, which made the entire process extremely difficult and frustrating.

I must emphasize that I will not accept any deductions from the refund amount, as the circumstances were completely beyond my control. The lack of communication and responsibility has left me deeply dissatisfied and has seriously damaged my trust in your company.

Given that this issue arose solely from your side, I am holding your company fully accountable for all consequences. Therefore, I request the following actions without any further delay:

A full refund of the amount paid, with no deductions.

Financial compensation for the inconvenience, disruption, and additional expenses incurred.

If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate this case to the relevant consumer protection authorities and consider legal action to recover my losses.

This experience has been extremely disappointing, and I expect a swift and fair resolution within the shortest possible timeframe.

To provide some context, Skyscanner is a travel search engine, and we don't handle any bookings directly. Instead, once you have found what you are looking for on our platform, you are redirected to your chosen travel provider's site to make your booking with them directly. 

Skyscanner does not have access to your booking information once you have redirected to the travel provider's site. Therefore, the travel provider you booked with will be responsible for informing you of any scheduling changes to your flight, as well as offering any further support or refund if the change is not suitable. 

We also don't currently offer a phone or chat support option here at Skyscanner. However, we are here to support our users as best as possible and would like to investigate your experience further. Therefore, I have emailed you directly. Please check your inbox for our email.

During the booking process for connecting or multi-airline flights, your system displays the baggage allowance of the airline offering the higher limit. However, once the ticket is issued, it becomes clear that the journey involves multiple airlines with different baggage policies, resulting in lower allowances for certain segments. This discrepancy creates confusion and inconvenience for customers who rely on the information displayed during booking.

As a travel search engine, Skyscanner doesn't set the prices and luggage information for your flight. We show this information on behalf of our partners, and we rely on our partners to send us up-to-date and accurate information. 

You will always be redirected from Skyscanner to your chosen travel provider's website in order to make your booking directly with them. I'm sorry to hear that you may not have been shown the correct luggage information throughout this booking flow. We would expect that if there is a different allowance for luggage throughout each segment that this is communicated before finalising your booking on our partner's website.

I can see on our system that you are in communication with my colleague Tegan regarding this experience and that she is investigating this for you with your travel provider, MakeMyTrip.

Good app to compare flight rates of different sites.

Even though its a good app by means there are some negatives which should be rectified. Because of the flight rate fluctuation the booking process should be without lagging. It took around three hours for me to book the ticket, each time when I am about to pay the rate gets more or its showing "no seats available in this flight".

Its an humble request to the app developers to have a real time updation, which will be a great help for the ones using this app.

Thanks for providing such a useful app.
