I recently sought legal advice from Karen Murray at Slater and Gordon regarding a settlement agreement. Karen was incredibly knowledgeable and provided clear, strategic guidance that gave me much-needed confidence during a period of transition. I can't believe this is a real company. the onboarding process took 1 hour 20 mins, asking daft questions like ... so a year ago, when you damaged your hand opening a jar, what was the weather like outside? I could barely understand a word the person onboarding me said, they called me Dave at one point, even though thats not my name, then ultimately said we have rejected the claim. I mean, just send me a text, would never dream of using this shower ever the most unprofessional company I have ever come across

I started the enquiry today the 23/2/2026 and the very same day 23/2/2026 asked to cancel it and yet I am receiving multiple emails that seem to be ignoring my request to cancel which within the company terms and conditions I am entitled to do free of charge within 14 days well this is day 1 of 14 please cancel and delete my details in line with GDPR

This issue has now been resolved and my enquiry has now been cancelled!

Didnt even have the courtesy to ring me back to let me know if they'd take on my case, after having given all the harrowing details at length to the call handler (who didnt seem to know much about anything) and despite my situation mirroring the misdiagnosis and negligence example on their website, that they claim to be experts in, but quite clearly aren't.

I contacted the solicitors and spoke to a Trainee Solicitor called Amy-J Butcher who was extremely helpful and efficient. She guided me through the process of obtaining Grant of Probate very smoothly and if I asked a question that she didn't know the answer to or was unsure she would go out of her way to find the answer and ring me back as soon as possible. I cannot praise this young lady highly enough.
