Our suits are sold as a set with a standard six in drop from chest to waist. Offering our suits with this configuration makes the suits cheaper to produce, which means we can pass those savings onto our customers, and it also helps ensure less waste makes it to the landfill in the long run.
We also offer a free alteration service in all of our stores, which can adjust the length and waist size of the suit to help achieve the perfect fit. As a guide the suit can be adjusted 2-3 inches, however we always recommend checking with our alteration staff as this can differ depending on the suit. All we ask is that you bring the full suit into your local store, with tags attached and in the condition as sold, for alterations to go ahead.

I don't know about their other shops
I don't know about their other shops, but the staff in their Glasgow and Stirling stores are only interested in sales targets. They don't measure you properly, rush through the whole experience, get the sale done and move on to the next victim; sorry I mean customer. You end up with a badly fitting suit and the sales assistant ends up with a fat pay check!

I purchased an online gift card
I purchased an online gift card. The process can be a bit confusing as there is also a physical gift card that cannot be used online. Once I had worked this out, the gift card was dispatched as requested. The range of sizes in stock meant I could be certain that something suitable would fit. Great service and offering.

Poor quality
The quality of the product was not to the usual standard I am used to from Slaters. The suit jacket pockets were ruffled and didn't look a quality suit. I didn't even try the trousers on. The DPD return process was very easy.
