I used Andy at Sliding Sash Window Solutions to replace my downstairs bay window in November a couple of years ago. He did such a good job I got him back to replace the first floor bay and a couple of other windows. The quality of his craftsmanship never ceases to amaze me as well as his work ethic. He started when he said he would, he finished slightly ahead of time and the windows are stunning (and much, much warmer). I didn't even bother to get other quotes this time. Highly, highly recommended.

Sam has done an amazing job at renovating and upgrading our sash windows, which were in quite a sorry state. They now open with ease and the reduction in draught and noise was immediately noticeable. From first contacting Sam through to completion of the job (ahead of schedule) he was professional, helpful and very easy to get along with. We are very pleased with the outcome and would happily recommend Sam and Sliding Sash Solutions.

Sam from Sliding Sash was a great communicator throughout the process of getting quotes, agreeing dates, changing our windows and paying for everything.

He was clean and efficient while working in our home and managed the timeline and expectations very well.

We went for double glazed accoya sash windows and we can definitely tell the difference in terms of temperature and sound insulation, as well as noticing how much neater, smoother and cleaner they look than our old tired windows.

Andy also quoted me on my living room bay sash window which is in dire need of repair. He pointed out the there is water a ingress issue coming from the flat above which needs to be addressed before he could repair the window. I was grateful for this information which I was able to submit to the management company.
I will ask Andy from Sash Solutions to repair my sash window once the water ingress solution has been resolved.

Our sash windows had needed attention for a long time and there was some wood rot. Excellent craftsmanship and we were kept informed throughout. The work was carried out inside the property (we have a maisonette over 3 floors) so no need for scaffolding and the property was left immaculate. Delighted with the outcome.

I was pleased with the initial experience. The windows looked good and the fitters were professional, polite and friendly. The problems occurred soon after 5 years when a number of panes of glass 'fogged' in two different windows. Initially Sliding Sash were very helpful as the windows had Slenderpane glass that has a 10 year guarantee, however after measuring the windows for replacement glass they refused to respond to correspondence including legal letters. This is a real shame as I feel Sliding Sash could very easily engage in conversation rather than ignoring their customers.

Sam fixed my upper sash window and he did an excellent job. He was punctual, explained and showed exactly what he did and cleaned up after completing the work. I would definitely use him again.

The team at Sliding Sash Solutions did a great job replacing the two sets of bay windows at the front of our house. From initial quote to the work being completed the communication was efficient and all the windows were replaced to a very high standard over the course of three days. Would highly recommend.

SSS (Sam W) installed 6 double glazed replacement wood sashes, replacing our original Victorian sashes whilst leaving the frames intact. They look fantastic, the sashes open and close smoothly and the draft/sound issues are sorted! Sam was super professional, friendly, on time, considerate. The whole experience was very straightforward, the price was competitive and there is no redecorating, as the window frames are still in place. We wish we had done this years ago!
