Sent a product I never ordered and they said it's an refundable item. Contacted the BBB and by the next day or two Amazon said they'd credit me. They also left a heavy box 9pm on a public walking in the pouring rain which lasted a week. I found it in my email 10am the next day. A huge well lite sign is on the back gate stating to leave packages at my front door not back gate which they did. I wish I can show the picture where you see the sign and rain on the sidewalk which is also a public walkway. The box was heavy and if moved would shred. The next day the same thing happened except the carrier threw the package over the fence with a glass bottle inside. I then called Amazon but you get a computer with 4-5 questions to answer that did not pertain to me. I yelled at the phone and the message kept repeating but not sending me to customer service. All 3 incidents happened within a week or two. Many similar through the years but this was it for me so I canceled my subscription but was auto-billed two months prior so they won't refund but claims it ends June 2026

Zero stars for Amazon.com they keep sending emails to me about closing an account that I changed my mind on because a chat service cancelled the order I wanted cancelled. And now they are sending emails asking me to respond to a seller which already received a review of their services. This website is sooooooooooooooooo messed up. Come on Amazon.com fix your website issues. I have unsubscribe on email notification so I do not keep getting emails for things that are not an issue.
I forget to use it, because there's no way to automatically redirect from amazon.com.
It's not very useful, because I forget to visit it, and no option exists to redirect the user from amazon.com to smile.amazon.com.
What has happened to Amazon?
My husband and I have been Amazon customers since tge mid-90's when they first started selling books and became Prime members when they very first startred that program. We now average 300-400 orders a month and spend $1000-$2000 a month with them. Until about 2 months ago, we loved them. In all those years, there was never a problem. Then everything changed. Many items fulfilled and shipped from Amazon stopped showing a delivery date of anywhere from same day to a maximum of 2 days. Many now, which are sent from Amazon warehouses are taking 5-7 days. For the first time, items are being misdelivered, arriving broken or not arrivinf at all. Shipments used to come to us from their Fremont, CA distribution facility, about 8 miles from our house. About two months ago, they started coming from their Milpitas, CA facility, which is a trainwreck, about 15 miles away. They now take a ridiculous route, arriving locally at their Newark, CA facility (about 9 miles away), then go to their Tracy, CA facility (about 50-60 miles away), then back to their Milpitas, Ca facility for delivery. This makes no sense. Calls to Amazon regarding late deliveries, misdeliveries and broken items get us an agent in southeast Asia, many of whom cannot speak undertandable English, requiring us to make several calls to get an agent in that part of the world who can speak agent. While items do get refunded or replaced, causing us to go through their shipping nightmare once again, we are always given the current corporate line, which all companies appear to be using nowadays, "We're sorry for the inconvbenience." In most cases, spending hours on the phone and not receiving much-neded items is not an inconveince. It goes well past that. On one recent occasion, when a refund was in order, we agreed to receive the refund via an Amazon giftcard credited to our account. Rep one processed the refund and said it would be available in our account within an hour. After and hour and a half, rep 2 said it had not been processed and she would submit it immediately and it would appear in 1-2 hours. At 2-1/2 hours, rep 3 said there was no record of it and she would process it and it would take up to 3 hours. After 3-1/2 hours, we finally got a supervisor, who said it was being processed, but he could give no estimate as to how long it would take. But, he "was sorry for the inconvenience". Until a couple of months we recommended Amazon to everyone. Now, we don't recommend them to anyone. Additionally we have started moving our online ordering to places like Sam's Club, Overstock.com, Wayfair and others and have been very satisfied with them. While still using Amazonm for several items, most end up getting screwed up one way or another. For us, Amazon had a great run, but have now almost completely fallen apart. Look elsewhere for your online purchases when you can.
My high value package was stolen by delivery team, Amazon CS says tough luck!
My high value package was stolen! I tracked the delivery service (NY) near my location, when they suddenly changed the status to Delivered. However, this was not as troubling as Amazon's customer service which insisted that I should do nothing for 24hrs, even though I am leaving NY in 48hrs, and that it might be delivered. Spoiler alert: It wasn't, and now Amazon customer service changed the story to "You needed to file a police report, no refund can be provided and it is not our obligation to do an investigation". Gutted! Will be filling for a fraud at MasterCard and will not be buying from them again as they learned nothing from previous cases of theft (in 2019).

He hung up not before he tried to purchase 2 playstations I immeadly searched amazon again for number it came up (different number than before) I called it cautiously this time it was amazon they were great they immediately canceled the play station order locked my acount so when I tried to go back a day later tor eset password I had hard time emails were not coming thru kept loosing connection. Everytime they called me back spent two and half hours helping me reset account and fix order want to say thank you to kelly,Mary and ali they were great as always. I have never had any problems before this they always fix fix any problem quickly and friendly gave me sectlruity tips and they were shocked that someone could intercept me off their page.i was in my account on their site when it happened. They immediately started investgating.like the representive said they are getting amazingly good. So I have the utmost trust in their site and secruity tips they gave me and thank them for their expident actions and help

Subscribe and Save Shenanigans
So Amazon has this service called Subscribe and Save. You can usually save a dollar or less by doing so depending greatly on which item.
The problem is the subscribe and save items are frequently no longer available. Alexa AI tells me when it's not longer available and recommends a similar product that is available and puts it in my cart without asking. When I review the item in my cart it is typically way more expensive that the item I was subscribed to. I can usually find a much cheaper product or the same product from a different seller on Amazon.
So they are being tricky. They consistently run out of subscribe and save items and try to switch me to a more expensive product. This has happened on many products including motor oil, sports fitness supplements, vitamins, and other items.
EBT purchase double charge
Now if you purchase thru EBT, Amazon will deduct the money from your EBT account and an equal amount from your gift card balance or your card on file essentially double charging you. This charge is processed without my approval. They call it an authorization charge and refund it when the items ship. Keep in mind some items take weeks to ship. When something like this is happening on such a large scale as Amazon, they're literally holding hundreds of millions of poor people's dollars hostage until the item ships. This is new...
RETURN ALERT they LIE
BE very aware when you return items back to Amazon their screen states that you will receive your refund seven (7) days after they receive the item. THEY LIE. I started a return on 7/31 took the product to the UPS store on 8/1. According to the tracking they received the item on 8/3. Basic math would say on 8/11 my refund should be processed. When I spoke to Latchme (spelled phonetically) they do not give refunds until 14 days per their policy.
So with all of the money that this multi-billion dollar company has they can not fix the system to correct the refund time from 7 days to 14 days. Let alone the fact that their system doesn't reflect the receipt of the product by their warehouse on 8/3.

I have been dealing with amazon.com for a number of years with good results and have bought many books and other small items. I was pleased with customer service up to recently and the one time that I needed a refund in the past was dealt with no problem. The problem is they have become to big and now have no customer service. I was recently going to buy a folding electric bike that they had advertised but as I have a bike already, it was important to me to know that the electric parts and battery of the folding electric bike would last. I contacted amazon.com and the bike manufacturer Nakxus but neither replied to me. I contacted Amazon again and asked if I could buy a spare battery at the same time as the bike purchase and at what extra cost. They said they would answer in two days but did not. I tried one last time but they never answered. Obviously I did not bother to buy the bike as they could not be bothered to answer my emails.

Legit the biggest bunch of scammers! Let me explain shortly what happened. Im from South Africa and do a lot of online gaming mostly on USA Servers. So I wanted Razer Gold Gift Cards to buy some in-game items. Because I play on US servers mostly I buy USA Gift Cards. So I have a friend in New York that always buys them for me at Bestbuy and send it so I can load them to my gaming account. On the particular day there was no stock at Bestbuy or any other shop that he had visited. So i started searching online then first result was Amazon selling them. I asked my friend if he could buy them on Amazon since he was in usa and it is a USA item and would be easy. He then told me He is not comfortable putting his credit card details online and he doesnt trust it. I tried to understand how he feels seeing that he is an old guy and not that into tech. So I immediately got a plan that at the moment I had thought was a great plan just to find later that it was no good. So I told him to go and buy Amazon gift cards for $250 from Bestbuy and I registered an account using My Google Voice number then I loaded them to try and buy the Razer Gold Gift cards with the loaded credit. It immediately blocked the gift cards and didnt allow using them so I contacted support and was advised that You are not allowed to buy Gift Cards using gift cards which i find stupid because I mean the gift cards was bought using money and then I would think You could spend it on whatever You want to spend it but apparently not. Support also told me that I cant order anything online with it and have it delivered to South Africa and I can also not be refunded or given new gift cards to try and sell them. My friend then said I should have them unlocked then he will buy something using the credit and send me the money. So support said i should log on and follow the directions to have them unlocked. After trying to log on it was asking me to upload the receipt and billing info for the card on my account and what not a lot of things. Since it was gift cards there was no billing info. I just uploaded the receipt from bestbuy where he had bought the gift cards. After a day it replied saying my documents are rejected and I should upload the billing statement of the card on my account. I contacted support and explained and they said ok they understand but i should upload pictures of the receipt and pictures of the physical cards and they will unlock it. So i did that and then they replied after a day again saying my documents had been rejected and I should upload the Billing statement. Me being irritated already and frustrated with trying to get hold of support because i get disconnected everytime asked my friend to send me his credit card statement of his card that he used to pay for the gift cards. I them continued uploading that. At this stage my account was blocked completely after doing that and didnt ever allow me to log in again. I called support and the boy was so rude he dropped the phone on me. So I called again few days later then support told me sorry they cant do anything over the phone i have to log on and follow the prompts. Then I told her I tried that its no longer logging on and only showing a message saying please check your phone or email for instructions to proceed unlocking your account. So problem now is I registered using a number and didnt add any email, secondly there was no message ever woth any instructions from amazon
At this point I was about to cut the loss and give up but few days later I thought no wait let me call again. I was disconnected 3 times after waiting about 45mins every time to be attended to and by the 4th call I was so frustrated that I was telling support I want it sorted and then never want to hear the word amazon again. The guy as also rude and told me to calm down otherwise he will drop the call. I them told Him Ill calm down once they sort the problem because it has been a month up amd down with no progress to resolving the issue whatsoever them boom, he dropped the call on me. I now have now other way but to accept that amazon had scammed me out of $250 that was bought and loaded in a legit manner with hard earned money and they just dont care about me as a customer because they already took my money. Never again will I support or buy anything from them or have any good word about them and I will make sure I spread this everywhere so people can stay away before they too get scammed like they scammed Me. Its really a bad experience. You approach thinking its a big company and your are safe just to find they dont actually give a damn about you and only want your money. Im so sad. Hope You are happy now. Bunch of Scammers!!!
