Dreadful! Avoid at all costs.
The sizing is poor, the quality dreadful and the process for trying to get a refund or replacement is very difficult.

Disappointed and Out of Pocket!!
The quality of this product marked out of 10 is 1, 2 at a push.
They also make it very difficult if not impossible to make a return. I bought from this company because I thought it was UK based! My mistake .
I repacked it exactly as stated , I couldnt DHL it because they needed more info . I tried to post it but that also failed . I contacted customer service and received no reply. I would strongly advise not to purchase from this company.

THE COVER WE RECEIVED WAS SUCH POOR QUALITY IT WAS ONLY FIT FOR THE DUSTBIN. BUT AS A MATTER OF PRINCIPAL WE PAID 14.90 TO RETURN VIA ROYAL MAIL TRACKING AND TO REVIEW THIS ROTTEN COMPANY HERE. Quality of fabric is appalling nothing like its advertised,
I thought sofacovers uk was a British firm when I asked for the return process I was given a China address and had to cover the cost.
Customer services stood by there so call quality of the product and there return policy
I only wish id checked this site out first before ordering

This company does not even deserve 1 star and should be zero star. Terrible company and clearly not in the UK. Sent me the wrong colour throw (which they have admitted in the first email but then denied in another email?) refusing to refund my money. The throw apart from being the wrong colour is also of terrible quality and cheap material

Word of advice, stay well clear of this company and their products, pay extra and use a true UK company

I bought I sofa cover from this company and what arrived at my home was a
Piece of trash!
I got in touch with them and no response.
If ter contacting Trading Consumer uk, which was very good I wrote another message to the Sofacover.uk.
After that they answer me and told me that everything was ok with the cover they had sent me.
It wasn’t! The size and the fabric wasn’t what I chose and payed for!
Theyre address shows That they are at Convent Garden! I’m sure they gave this address to try to show they are porch!
They told me to send the item to China where the cover came from and I would have to pay for return the item!
I payed to return the item to Chine £25.00 and the cover!
I spent around £75.00.
They already received it in chine , however no one had contacted me!

I ordered £124 worth of seat and back cushion covers from SofaCoverUK in May 2025. What I received was completely wrong — oversized, generic fabric sheets with labels in Chinese, including:

“靠背巾 / 靠背布C款” – Backrest Cover – Style C

“Y三聯坐 / 靠背布C款” – Triple Backrest Cover – Style C

These are NOT what was shown on their product page. The listing displayed fitted covers with specific dimensions for individual seat and back cushions. What I received doesn’t even remotely resemble that — just large, loose backrest throws I never ordered. The colour is darker than what's shown as well.

To make things worse, they never sent an order confirmation, invoice, or even an order number — which is a direct breach of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. When I reached out to complain, they responded with copy-paste denials and claimed the shipment was correct (despite the photos). They also told me I’d have to pay to return the items to China, even though their site shows a UK address (71–75 Shelton Street, London) — nowhere during checkout was it made clear that I’d be responsible for international returns.

Worst of all? They asked me to falsely declare the return parcel’s value as £15 on the customs form — despite knowing I paid £124.36. That’s not only unethical, it’s potentially illegal.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a product is not as described or not fit for purpose, I’m entitled to a full refund — and I should NOT have to pay return shipping for something that was their mistake.

I've filed a chargeback with my bank and reported them to Trading Standards. I have photo evidence, translations of the labels, and screenshots of their listing — including changes they made after my complaint.

I don’t normally write reviews, but this was one of the most frustrating and misleading online shopping experiences I’ve ever had. If you're in the UK, avoid SofaCoverUK at all costs — they are not what they appear to be, and you could end up out of pocket with useless items and no help at all.

Give this company a wide berth, not sure if it's a complete scam ?
Dining seat covers were totally rubbish, didn't fit as shown on site,
Then the returns are through email, and you have to send them back to China, and pay a handling fee, although they are not fit for purpose.

SofacoverUK but its all based in China and deliveries are direct from there so wait time is horrendous
chair covers do not fit as they should and the colours are nothing like the sample shown, eventually answered to return them but must send them back to China recorded delivery, honestly a bunch of chancers that have an address in the UK to mislead people

I failed to read the reviews in this company (was going through sudden bereavement) which I know is own fault. I have tried to contact them about my delivery which is now more than 2 weeks overdue. There is no response from the company and I failed to notice they weren’t a UK company. Whilst I take some responsibility for not paying attention, there is still responsibility for the company to deliver and answer contacts.

Extremely long wait, and when contacting customer services they were very unprofessional and unhelpful. I was under the impression that they were a uk company but it all comes from china. Do not recommend at all.

I had a terrible experience with Sofa Cover UK. The product quality was far below expectations—cheap, poorly made, and not worth the price. The fit was terrible, and the fabric felt tacky and flimsy. It’s shocking they charge so much for such substandard products.

The service was even worse. Their so-called "customer support" was unhelpful and dismissive when I tried to address the issues. What’s even more frustrating is their misleading returns policy. Their listed UK address is fake, and when I tried to return the item to their real address in China, I was slapped with a £40 shipping fee, which isn’t refunded. It feels like a complete scam!

I would strongly advise against purchasing from this company. They’re misleading customers and offering terrible products with appalling service. Companies like this shouldn’t be allowed to trade!

The product I bought was for a two-seater reclining sofa, where each side reclines separately. The back of the seat is not designed to stay in place, thus the rear of the seat is forever coming off, needed to be re-tucked in. Customer support only suggested I buy and insert foam into the sides (which didn’t fix the problem). When I wrote(multiple times) asking how the design was intended to keep it in place, they ignore my emails. I think this is sad, as I do like the overall look and feel of the covers.

Did not like the picture very thin does not fit arms on the chair properly cost over £50.00 and I would not of paid £10.00. I got these for my parents and lied about the price in the end because I was embarrassed DO NOT USE.

Again, like many others I’m being ignored after requesting a return due to my order having a hole in it on delivery. I’m not pleased with the quality.
I had an initial email requesting a photo but no further correspondence after several attempts. They claim to answer every email within 24hrs but I’m yet to receive my confirmation of a refund and return.

Not a UK company therefore doesn’t need to follow UK law with accepting a return for an online purchase not being what you expected from advertisement.

Please avoid. This isn’t something I needed to be dealing with at 7months pregnant.

I will remove my review once I have had correspondence and had the issue resolved.

Ordered some dining chair covers. What an absolute disgrace. They don't fit the chair. No zips mentioned in the description, the zips don't go together, the material is so cheap and tacky. I might as well have put my money in the wheelie bin. Contacted customer service, with photos and description, no response. No surprise either. Please, Please, don't waste your money.

Awful company. Again like so many others I thought I was dealing with a British company. The covers arrived today, the colour is not as advertised and the quality is extremely poor. In addition the material is different to that advertised. I've sent details over to the company but they are arguing with me
over everything basically trying to make it as difficult as possible to return. Shocking and avoid at all costs

Website and name is all setup to look like a UK company however it is only when the issues crop up you realise it is just a drop shipping scam. Ordered a 3 Seater cover as per the sizing specification on the website. Three weeks later the parcel turns up from China, the instructions don't match the product and more importantly the product doesn't fit! Contacted customer service who originally suggested I had ordered the wrong size despite sending photos. Then said they would send a bigger size. I said no I wanted a refund so they said I need to ship it back to China. Stopped responding after I said I was happy to ship it if they refund me and pay me the shipping cost - it is their fault! Avoid at all costs and buy something local - at least it's easier to refund if there is a problem. Will work with card company on getting my money back.

I placed an order with them on 3 February. It says delivery time is 10-14 days. I have now waited longer than that. I have also emailed them twice asking for an update but have not received a reply at all. I have paid over £100 for these covers, have not received anything and I am not getting any answers. I am very unhappy. Looks like I will have to contact Trading Standards if I don't hear back.
