There is no warranty with solar scooters they sent me a solar eq scooter with a manufacturer defect on the stem . The bolts do not tightening up properly , I have tightened many times they become lose again within 5 mins, The bolts holes have been wrongly threaded and after riding scooter for 5 minutes the stem becomes very lose and wobbly, scooter is unsafe to ride , I paid £45 shipping fee for scooter to be sent back to be repaired and they obviously did not test the scooter as scooter has been sent back with exactly the same problem, I have asked for a refund or new scooter and they are not honouring the warranty blaming me for riding the scooter is the cause of the problem which is completely untrue. They lie and make up anything just to avoid covering the warranty. I’ll never buy anything off these scammers again and i am reporting them to trading standards

Great service all the time quick delivery. Sorted out my rear wheel and electrical problem that’s now been solved. Had a problem with my washers, contacted solar scooters and sent a whole brand new set. Free of charge

There must be a change in management. Because I had a shocking service from this company a few years ago. I purchased their top of the range FF 1. It had all the bells and whistles, though it could do 50mph, I never went more than 32mph, and that was a pretty steep hill as i live on Exmoor national Park. It was not used more than once a week. Sometimes twice a month. Stored inside in a rear boot room. Never went out in the rain. It was my 50th birthday treat to myself. Then it died. Wouldn't charge. A friend of mine who has the exact same model tried charging his with my charger. . Charger was fine. No one would talk to me, only wanted to correspond through email. That was a bit hit and miss. Sent it back by courier. Was told to put it in its original box, yeah, like I'm going to hold onto a huge cardboard box for 18 months. They could not of been more unhelpful. Week goes by, still can't speak to anyone. They said it needs a new battery. But two electrical engineers i know had checked the battery, they said it takes a full charge. Lightning the display panel. Just nothing happened when you turned the throttle. Anyway I was quoted almost 800 pounds to get it fixed which included a new battery. I said let me have a think. Two days later it turned up by courier. Not fixed. I asked why they had sent it back. We haven't got room in our warehouse. Really! It got sent back again. After a bit/lot of complaining. The bill magically dropped a few hundred. . But then came the kicker. The part we need is no longer available. It can't be fixed. I was in shock. Pleaded with them to just call me. They had my .number. but nothing. It arrived in a worse condition than it went. The control panel all loose and hanging down. Would never recommend this company. Totally avoid unless under new ownership. I'm shocked they are still in businesses. I have two barber shops. People saw this thing. Loved it. I could of been a great salesman for this company, and I'm free. Not looking for anything, just someone to call me and discuss it. £2500 machine, 18 later. Can't be fixed or ridden again. Solar scooters are excellent products with great quality and performance.
However, there is a big price difference between the U.S. and the UK. Even with tax included, the U.S. price is lower, and there are additional $50 discount codes available only in the U.S., which makes the price gap even larger.

Spoke with support via email on several occasions, sometimes they replied within a hour or two, sometimes it was the next day.
Considering the time difference between the U.K and the U.S.A. that is understandable.
Happy with my purchase, 5 stars from me.

We had a problem with the scooter they sorted it out with a new battery it's going ok now and sent a couple of videos with the scooter and in one day it was done thanks very much for the expertise that you sent us

Cheap parts that need replacing. Spent £80 on servicing little after buying my scooter new, 200 miles previously.

Caliper and pads both needed changing

The service was impeccable, punctual, and the assistance provided couldn't be better. The bike is outstanding.

Massive fee for a refused delivery due to unforeseen financial circumstances, not understanding at all proceeded to charge me more than half of the 1st of what the initial klarna payment was, they kept the fee real hush too as if I'd known it was damn near £200 for a return I would've kept the item and sold it to repay the plan. Not gonna say they are dodgy or anything I have another scooter from them from years ago that still works but I will never deal with them again they made my financial situation worse when all they had to do was issue a full refund and assume the cost of refusals which are part of every trustworthy businesses model as they pay insurance for it if they are reputable. If id known they were so heartless I would've returned the favor, kept the scooter and never paid the remaining installments on the klarna plan.

Thieving scammers!! Don’t get me wrong the staff are amazing, it’s the money grabbbing scammer of a manager/owner you have to watch out for!! I had upgraded brakes out on my solar P1 3.0 by another scooter firm closer to home, now. before I had the brakes changed I had an error come up E01 meaning there was an issue with a motor and it was very clear that the error was with the rear motor, however I already had the brakes booked to be done so I had them changed from the cheap Chinese pony that come as standard on these machines. The owner manager then said it was the brakes that had cause the issue and hid behind this bs making the warranty void!! Although solar USA the main company agreed changing the brakes would not void the warranty and also would not damage the motor!! They then forced me to pay via either cash or bank transfer because as they stated ‘their card machine was not working’ this was a lie! How do I know this you may wonder, well I called zettle and pretended to be from solar hr, they assured me there was no current issues with the card reader. So after having no choice but to pay nearly £400 by bank transfer I am currently waiting for the court application to go through to get justice from this absolute crook!! Also I should note forcing a payment out of someone under duress is a criminal offence also which I will happily follow through after the court issue is sorted 😁

Save yourselves the agg guys and girls DO NOT ever buy from solar, save yourselves pennies and get something like a dualtron 👍 we’ve had nothing but issues since we bought the dam things (me and friend bought at pretty much the same time) ohh and here’s the real kicker…. They replaced the brakes that had been put on by the other firm but not with new brakes they used all used second hand $h1t covered in dings and scrapes!! Also the second kicker…. My friend has now also got the dreaded E01 error code come up!!

You’ll get mugged off and scammed, just to add we’ve had nothing but problem after problem after problem since buying, going from brakes failing, melted wires inside the deck, bolts coming lose that shouldn’t and more error codes than you’d find on a windows 95 pc 😂

I have had a couple issues with my scooter and the staff that have emailed has been really helpful and getting my problems sorted as soon as possible. I am impressed with the quick responses and the time taken to make the customer happy. I must say the services I have had from solar is 100x better than the service I had from previous scooter company (Iscooter). And my scooter rides like a dream now no issues

The p1 3.0 is probably one of the best things I have bought for transport. Having to take buses from point a to be can be so frustrating and can easily run up in price overtime. Buying this scooter .means I no longer have to worry about it. With good distance and battery life performs very well.

Locking is easy although not straight forward, there are not specific places to lock it so I took a chain and wrapped it around the neck of the scooter tight as to not allow wiggle.

Fantastic service delivered on time and support is amazing.

Incredible bike

Ordered my new solar p1 pro scooter on a Monday and 22 hours later it was delivered, absolutely brilliant service.
It's so easy to order on line and l do know from previous experience that if you need any technical support they're on the ball and are more than happy to help.
As for their electric scooters they are the best scooter on the market, so buy with confidence 😀

Easy to order, and my scooter arrived super quick and I’m very pleased with it so much fun. Not a cheap product by far but you get a great scooter. The only thing I would like is a slightly tighter handlebar. The height adjustable system gives a slight wiggle and with a scooter this powerful I would prefer it to be solid but understand that the height might not be suitable for everyone.

I had an issue with my solar scooter. The tech team responded quickly and pointed me in the right direction. Their instructions were simple and direct. They remedied a frustrating situation for me with ease. Thank you.
