Exceptional service from Justin and Marie
We have had an account with Somfy for may years.
Justin our sales regional manager is very professional and knowledgeable. He is always very approachable if we ever need any advice and help.
Marie in the sales office was extremely helpful last week when I needed guidance with the somfy portal ordering system, which I had not used before. She was friendly, patient and again very knowlegeable. The order was completed successfully.

The tiny plug is very difficult to access
The tiny plug is very difficult to access at height. I have to stand on the top of a stepladder - dangerous - and then try to manipulate it. Silly system really. I bought a solar panel to avoid this climb but this is faulty. I have asked the supplier (Hillary’s) to fix it. I would caution anyone to be very careful and avoid this system if they might have difficulty reaching the tiny plug. Why it cannot be a normal usb I do not understand. Otherwise the blind is fine.

Terrible customer service
Pray you don't have to contact customer service to help with an issue ... waited 30mins for them to answer the phone then had the most difficult conversation with someone who clearly had no clue how to fix the problem but put me on hold then eventually after wasting a whole hour I was told to contact a local dealer. Shocking service
The reply from them suggests spending more time contacting them as I did before for me to get a message " we're sorry all our agents are busy , please hold" ... what a joke!
These businesses know they can send you a private message on Trustpilot to get your contact number and call you to reolve the issue!
Got the problem solved by someone on You tube.

I took over a pub 8 years ago and a somfy motorised canopy was existing on the wall at the front. After the pub was rewired the canopy was missed out and I could not find a remote control in the building.
Today a had it wired up and was delivered a remote.
Upshot is I wasn't expecting it to work after at least 8 years dormancy. However I was amazed to see it quietly appear to full extent without even a creak. It still looks brand new!
I would reccomend Somfy and they deserve my 5 star review. Well done Somfy.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. I was struggling to set up one of two a roller blinds. A call from customer support and a very helpful Chris diagnosed the issue talked me through a full reset, connection to the remote and then what had been a very elusive connection to the app - all over the phone.

Marie & Sam Are always more than helpful, if they cant solve it they know who can. The products very rarely falter and are excellent quality.
If I'm honest the only problem with Somfy is there's such a vast range of products and variation options, it can sometimes be a little confusing and overwhelming, which is why the excellent service from Sam & Marie is so vitally important.

Well made products. We love them.
5 year warranty on most of their products which is almost unheard of for the price range
Any issue we had was dealt with swiftly by Somfy via the retailer from whom we purchased the motors.
Of course there might be the occasional issue. It's unrealistic to expect 100% no faults, and as a the supplier to us, it was the shop's duty to ensure that my issues were dealt with as soon as possible, and thanks to their Somfy Trade contact, they were able to help rectify it really quickly. Some reviews are blaming Somfy (when supplied by someone else), but the retailer/installer should be the one to rectify the issue. I'm moving home soon, and I will certainly be installing blinds with Somfy automation to my new place as soon as I can.

Highly recommend Somfy products!
As a manufacturer of quality garage doors, we only want to supply control systems and motors that will complement our products which is why we started buying from Somfy in 2018.
From their sales team to the technical team, everyone is happy to help you and if there is a problem (happens rarely), they're very quick to resolve it.
The Rollixo RTS control system is easily the most user friendly and aesthetically pleasing control box that we've used which makes it our most popular control system that we offer. We also use Somfy tubular motors in our roller garage door range and they're a lot easier to setup than more traditional tubular motors.
Overall, if you're thinking of selling Somfy products or just looking to purchase a Somfy product for yourself, I highly recommend that you do as you will not be disappointed.
