Have tried ringing this company constantly for 2 weeks they never answer phone keep you hanging on I hang up after 10 min each time Even first thing in morning same messages

Disgraceful lack of customer service
Didn't even get to the pre-purchase support stage.
Left a message as wanted 6 x 3m motorised blinds, claim to have tried to call me back-liars, as no vm and no missed calls.
Took my business elsewhere, when I told them, they just asked if they could now close the support ticket!
No product support
We have multiple blinds installed. The motors have failed. Somfy UK will not supply replacements. They say speak to their dealers. The dealers won't provide support either. Don't buy Somfy controls.

I would give somfy no stars if possible. I have 3, one never worked right, after talking to company never got fixed, one worked for a couple years then quit, the last one is still working, but waiting for that to quit too.
Why did I not read the reviews first
Why did I not read the reviews first. £1500 on 2 oversized roller blinds. One works the other not so much, as in never. Technical support is neither technical or anything remotely supportive. Avoid like your life depended on it. For Sale: 2x large white plastic tablecloths

Blind programmer and controller. Impossible to pair the blind and control.
Instructions that make no sense.
Forgot trying to program the automation as you this is impossible.
You can’t even make the up and down button work with the blind.
And the motor makes the blind unusable to manually operate because of the gearing.

The best thing to say about the app is that it works sometimes. I was hoping for all the time.
I really regret buying my blind…
I really regret buying my blind controller and smart hub from this company.
They have a technical support line which when I called can only provide support for the smart hub.
All my settings disappeared and now I can’t reset them.
Please stay away for your own Sanity.

I have a Somfy alarm which i am very happy with and have used for a couple of years or so. Having a new door fitted meant i required a new intellitag from then.
The ordering process went fine. I did not receive the item and that is where all the issues begin.
After numerous emails and phone calls and a lot of customer service platitudes and service ‘washing’, i cannot speak to a manager the guy in the uk doesn’t have a telephone number for the UK distribution centre or a head office all of which i find absolutely staggeringly inept at the least at worst incompetent and dubious.
Months in still no product and still no refund just the ongoing promise of it being investigated. Will be raising this as fraud note with bank.
Brought a motorised curtain rail…
Brought a motorised curtain rail >£1,000. Easy to install (I am an electrician), but Somfy refuse to provide installation instructions saying I had to go to an authorised installer. It's a racket.
Honestly some of the worst customer service
Honestly some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, or not dealt with as is the case here.
I had a Somfy alarm, which in itself wasn't too bad but didn't fit my needs so I returned but when I found out there was no easy way to delete my account I tried to contact support through the website, got a reply about forwarding the request and no matter how many chasers I sent never got a single reply since...it's been over three months. I then tried to contact support over the phone and the reply I got was 'can't help but the team will get to it when they get to it' truly shocking. Avoid at all costs!
No Dealer support
My Somfy product broke down and I could not get any of their local experts to assist. Of particular disappointment was Blind Design in Eastbourne who although only 16 miles from me gave a range of excuses as to why they could not come out to repair my product. I dismantled myself and sent the circuit board for repair. All working well now, no thanks to Paul at Blind Design, Eastbourne

Terrible customer service, they try to make you pay to get an installer out to fix their awful products.
Had to call in supplier to fix a set of…
Had to call in supplier to fix a set of 2.5 year old Somfy powered roof blinds that had stopped working even after changing / charging batteries and hand set being replaced under guarantee.
Somfy advised supplier that they NOW recommend 10 pack battery tubes for our type of set up so the old 8 packs were changed to 10 packs and NEW batteries installed ...the supplier spent 2 days programming and everything worked fine for 1 month during which time blinds were used only 3/4 times . NOW 2 blinds are stuck down and 2 are "iffy" This is totally unacceptable .
Supplier is always helpful BUT why should he bear the costs of Somfy incompetence.
I have no faith in Somfy But with £3k invested in the system what can I do ? .
AVOID Somfy at all costs.
Doesn't work with Android
If you have an Android device and want to integrate Somfy with your smart home stay away. I was just told after much frustration trying to integrate with Alexa that it will not work with an Android device. Controlling the shades with phone is spotty at best, just stick with the remote. They won't publish that info on their site or in their instructions, you just have to figure it out on your own and they aren't too apologetic about because what are you going to do after you spent $24K on shades...
Somfy RTS Connexoon App is the worst…
Somfy RTS Connexoon App is the worst app I have ever used. Currently it won't log me in saying my credentials are incorrect. It doesn't integrate well with Google Home. For example, I can't control my blinds from the Google Home app, whereas other smart devices like this from Tapo and Phillips Hue work perfectly. App is buggy, clunky to use and terrible UX. I would seriously consider another smart device manufacturer. Do not use Somfy.
Once they have your money
Once they have your money, that's it. Garage door is useless, first sign of damp or rain and it stops working. Utterly useless and all you will get, if you’re lucky, is Teflon shoulders and “go back to your suppliers.” Check out complaints on forum pages across the internet. Will never use again.
Awful service from a company who cannot…
Awful service from a company who cannot respond to customers problems with their products, I have been trying to sort out a problem with my electric blinds and get an engineer to visit but find it impossible. With over £4000 spent I ecpected better service than this.
The charging connector is dreadful
The blind and software is ok the charging connection is dreadful. The first charge and you highly likely to break it - the charging cable connection is beyond dreadful- 4 of the smallest thinnest connectors it’s nearly impossible not to bend them trying to connect the charging cable to the motor - they are probably .3mm thick at best and bend instantly - leaving you with a totally useless product.

avoid at all costs , overpriced , over complicated , when you eventually do get it all working ... you would assume you can say "alexa , close all blinds" and you would be able to.... but no , you have to say "alexa , turn on , close all blinds" .... completely ruins the experience. The cost of most of these products produces by somfy are outrageously over priced. Just generally underwhelming in all aspects
Complete load of stinking somfy
I've been battling with the remote control for blinds for over a day. Resetting, re-programming. The thing refuses to do all the things it's meant to. When I did get it working, I came back a few hours later to find that the blinds had stopped working, reset and refused to respond to anything. I've got a PhD, so if I can't work it out ...
