One year ago I Paid in Full a Rockstar that I never received!
Dear Sir, only gave you 1 star because I paid in full my Sondors Rockstar on January 2023 expecting to receive it on March 2023. One year passed since I paid in full 3499 U$D and still waiting to receive my bike…
I sent several messages being the last one 11/12/2023 and none one gave me any update if I ever will receive my bike or not.
Awful Customer service
Placed an order for a bike in October, the next day I canceled the order. Got an auto response. They received my request. A week later I emailed and called to confirmed that they received my cancellation, again got auto reply that they had received my request. Two months later the bike shows up in a damaged box 6 emails and six phone calls later. No reply experience. Awful customer customer service now I have a bike I don’t want.
Very little power.
Quality bike with quality service
Bike came with a leaking tube. Sondors replaced it. Riding posture is upright and comfortable. It has both boost and throttle, which is essential for us. We have enjoyed this bike and would like to get a second one, because of the design, quality, and service.

Excellent value
Excellent value and love the fact it folds. The only improvements would beefing up the brakes and adding thicker tires. I love the size and shape of the tires, however they are paper thin between the knobbys and I have picked-up several thorns which punctured the innertubes. After 1000 miles, Have to say I love the bike!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Would be a zero if I could. Bought a Fold X in November, got an email the label was created. 5 weeks later nothing came, 5 emails and 3 phone calls later, I would consider this being GHOSTED and ripped off. Luckily I paid by a charge card and got my money back and they’re going after them but they’ve gotten nothing from them as of late. Office site on Google Maps says permanently closed.
Unbelievably ignorant customer service
Contacted customer service in September and received auto response. Chased them in October, got another auto response. Now December and still never heard back from this totally useless company

I gave them 500 for one of their motorcycles and it was supposed to be for my husband but he passed away. I let them know that and wanted my money back but I never got a responses from anyone . I emailed and tried to call but no one has ever answered me at all. I busted wanted my money back so I could use it for funeral expenses but got no response at all. I would stay away from this company

Grant galas entertained us for a few weeks then dropped off. My sons bike lasted less than a year. Last I heard they were sending out a battery and some other stuff. Even sent me the fake tracking info. This place is a scam do not purchase
FOLLOW UP: Costco accepted the bike for a full return.

Do not buy from this company. Put a deposit down for the metacycle, they changed the specs of it lied about performance and now ignore all emails asking for a refund they say you can get at any point before full purchase. I have been emailing them now for 2 months and not had one reply. Do not trust this company.

Over two years ago I pre-ordered a SONDORS metacycle. It looked really great. After more than a year of excuses, they finally said OK delivery is coming and you need to give us another $700 for “white glove“ delivery so I sent them another $700, then I waited month after month and started calling. Every time they said oh it’s on the way. We’re just a little behind. Finally, I said no cancel the whole thing I want a refund. The salesman said sure that’s fine. Will send you a refund. That was almost 2 years ago and now , no salesman will answer a phone call from my phone number, no person at SONDORS will respond to any email I send to any of their addresses, and no SONDORS employee will respond to written mail delivered by USPS with signature. These are basically rip off con artist, and don’t give them any of your money. !!
The FBI needs to look into this because this is crossing state lines with their advertising which continues to this day.
Expensive bikes, don’t expect support
$2.5k bike stopped working, no power. I have phoned 16 times over the last month and opened 10 support tickets on the web, with no adequate response from Sondors. I own 1 x FoldXS and 2 x Step so I’m a valuable/loyal customer I would say. I just cannot get response from Sondors support. I left a message to say due to time zone and the secure nature of my office to call me after 1300 PST and admittedly I have had a couple (2) left VMs over the 21+ days but I’ve asked repeatedly to sort an appointment for a support call so we can plan a time to both be available.
Sondors, a "company" to stay away from!
About 1.5 year ago I did a reservation for a MetaCycle and paid $100. I have asked for a refund multiple times lately since it has taken too long, and I have decided to get another motorcycle.
Since I haven’t got a response and Sondors ‘modus operandi’ seems to be the silent treatment if you want a refund, my only option is to write about it here.
It was said to be fully refundable when signing for a reservation (luckily only $100 in my case). If there are no refund it is equal to theft, which is not a very good company practice if you what to stay in business. My guess is that they will take the money and run eventually or go under.
You might get lucky and actually get what paid for, but I would advise you to spend your money somewhere else and be sure you get something for it.
So, stay away from Sondors, a total rogue company.
Avoid at all costs
Many have written that this company will take your money and ignore you.
On the 1st of November 2020, I sent them a deposit for their new Metacycle. I knew it would take a while to arrive as the product was new on the market. However, following the initial email receipt for my deposit, I heard nothing from Sondors for two and a half years. In April 2023, I decided to cancel my order, as my priorities had changed, so I emailed their customer support asking for a refund. A response came quickly saying that my refund had been sent to processing... and that is the last I have heard from the company. I have emailed them multiple times since. I have tried contacting them on social media (Facebook and Twitter).
Silence...
I suppose I'm one of the lucky few as I only gave them a £100 deposit. I've heard of others who sent the $5,000 buying price and have had the same experience as me.
They are still marketing their products and have the Metacycle on their website. I've even seen people on the owners' Facebook page giving positive reviews once they receive the bikes. Why can't they just sort out the refunds they are being asked for?
