I highly recommend Sound Affair. It was very refreshing to deal with a company that does what they say they'll do, is honest, fair and straight talking.
The process of getting the B&O speaker collected was seamless and very helpful.

This was a throughly well managed process. James responded quickly to my enquiry, quickly valued the items I wanted to sell, collected them at a pre-agreed time and the whole process was seamless. He checked over the products himself, transferred the agreed price and was very personable and trustworthy. If you have pre-loved B and O products you want to sell, then I'd happily recommend this company based on my experience. Thank you James.

Really easy to deal with James. He was quick to set a date, came to my house; very polite! Money transferred immediately whilst he was there and before removing the kit.

Since I was a lad, I had wanted to own a BEOSOUND 3000. I recently achieved this with the help of James. Being a significant and one-time purchase, I was willing to buy confidence and quality for a premium price. By contacting Sound Affair I also benefited from helpful and patient advice in decoding the (at first quite alarming) model options, settling on a system that is a treat for the eyes and ears. In the grand scheme of B&O-level price tags, this was a ‘low-budget’ purchase, but the service was top-notch all the way. I did end up spending twice what I could have taking an eBay gamble, but for me the confidence and quality was worth it.

I had a delivery issue regarding an item, after emailing the team, they advised they would refund me my payment as they could not guarantee the delivery date.
I appreciate their candor , I would definitely use them again.

Having just sold my B&O system this week I was more than happy to leave a review. James runs a very professional, efficient and friendly company. From my initial contact there was a 'no pressure' approach, full guidance was given on how the sale would be managed, should I wish to go ahead and the service that followed exceeded my expectations. James made contact as promised, visited on the scheduled date & time and kept me totally informed throughout what was going on. There is always an element of concern when contacting somebody through on-line search but I have no hesitation on working with James and his Company again should the opportunity arise.

Not only was I utterly delighted with a pair of second-hand B&O4000 speakers that I purchased from Sound Affair - I was struck by just how helpful they were when a small issue developed a few months down the line that was difficult to diagnose. They were hugely helpful in eventually tracking the issue down and getting it put right. Truly a first class experience - so thank you.

So, yet another smooth transaction with James - Sound Affair, should need any products or advice I would definitely recommend their services and to be honest wouldn’t go anywhere else. Good communication, great service, and both prompt and reliable.

James came to our boat to collect some B and O speaker and ancillary equipment. Agreeing a value and arranging the collection was a simple process, payment was prompt and with no issues. Fully recommend him and his obvious detailed knowledge of the equipment

From the moment I made contact with James I received nothing but the best of service.
I was importing the system and speakers and they arrived in time very well packaged in excellent condition.
Couldn't recommend both the service and the product highly enough.

I ordered a Beolab 2 subwoofer. According to the information on the website, the Beolab 2 on offer was described as follows:
"BeoLab 2 is in stunning condition and sounds amazing. We would mark the overall condition a very strong 9/10, please view photos. A beautiful example of a BeoLab 2. Supplied with original packaging, original manuals, power and speaker cable."
The serial number and year of production were also stated.

After two weeks (delivery abroad) I received the Beolab 2 neatly packaged (original packaging from B&O). So far so good.

BUT after unpacking I was disappointed for a few reasons:
- The condition did not correspond to the description and pictures on the website. The case was dusty and there were various scratches and marks on the membranes.
- Original manuals and speaker cable were missing.
- The serial number was not identical (I received an older model)

Conclusion 1: In my case, the goods I received did not correspond to the description and the offer on the website. The condition was also not as described. The Beolab 2 I ordered (and paid for) is still offered on the retailer's website!

I emailed the dealer about the above points and asked for a response within a week. The deadline has passed - I haven't heard anything to date and probably won't hear anything again...

Conclusion 2: the high standards of product quality and customer service described on the website were not met in my case.Overall, A DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.I could have just as easily ordered a used Beolab 2 on eBay.

What should the dealer do better:
- deliver exactly the product described, ordered and paid for
- deliver the quality of the product offered and promised
- deliver the accessories described in full
- Improve customer service (respond to inquiries)
