South London Movers took our furniture into storage while we had major decorating done. They were unfailingly pleasant, efficient, obliging and flexible people to deal with and made the removals both to and from storage as painless as possible, replacing a sheet of glass that was broken in transit without question. We would use their service again.

A pleasure to work with
South London movers were a pleasure to work with from the first visit to give us a quote to the last delivery of our belongings yesterday. They dismantled the beds and other furniture, put them together again, moved garden furniture and all employees were polite and friendly. When our flat wasn't ready in time, they extended our booking for the store, always making clear exactly how much additional fee would be due. Nothing appeared to be a problem for them and they were incredibly flexible when the booked delivery date proved impossible. Definitely recommend.

Brilliant service - would highly recommend
South London movers were responsive before our move, answered all my questions so we picked the right package for us and then were very organised and professional on the day. We used the fragile packing service and it was good value and the team were really careful with our belongings. We moved into a storage unit and they were also great on advising of the size room we would require and packing the room so we could easily access belonging we would require whilst between homes.

Absolutely the best!
South London movers were marvellous from start to finish. It's just me and my little boy which makes moving especially stressful and they could not have been more helpful and understanding. Cassie in the office even guided me on what to do on parking bay suspensions in London, rather than just leave me to work it out. I am so glad I went with this company; I know they are not the cheapest but they are certainly not overpriced and they are worth every penny. Absolutely fantastic!

£2K to move a small one bed flat 6 mins down the road!! AVOID!
AVOID! Honestly if there is one decision you make today, avoid this company!
They wanted to charge us nearly £2K to move a small 1-bed flat 6-minute drive down the road!! Extremely extremely extremely overpriced!!!! We also felt very uncomfortable with the bad customer service, they made us communicate everything through WhatsApp on the admin's personal number, completely breaking GDPR.
We approached South London Movers to give us a quote to help us move 1.3 miles down the road (a 6-minute drive). We had just bought our first-ever home and as neither of us drive and we wanted to splash out a little bit we decided to get a removal company. We expected the move to cost between £500 and £1000.
We don't have a lot of stuff as we live in a small 1 bed flat. When we moved in over a year ago the whole contents of the flat fitting into a large transit van and we haven't purchased anything bigger than a book since moving in.
To move us a 6-minute drive down the road they wanted £1936... at this point, we had approached 4 other movers all quoting between £150 - £360. Due to their high rankings, we wanted to go with them, so we queried the price and asked them to break down the quote. They refused to do so and just told us good luck with our move. Honestly we were shocked.

Thanks for your feedback, we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the administrative service and the quote given.
For a small move, all our customers are given the option of sending their videos via email or WhatsApp (on the business mobile). Normally WhatsApp is preferred due to the ease of uploading a large volume without the need to send multiple emails. As your move was imminent this was also the quickest way of getting a quote to you. The videos/photos are deleted when no longer needed.
We can see that our cost and your budget not aligning to our service has upset you but we wish you well with your move into your first home.

Exceptional team
The team went above and beyond to help me on the day of the move. I couldn’t have asked for a more responsive and calm approach to the stresses of move day. I was quite unprepared and south London movers made the whole experience feel manageable and even fun!

South London Movers were excellent throughout. We found both the administrative staff and the movers on the day to be extremely flexible and solution focussed, exactly what you'd hope for when undertaking a move. Not the cheapest option but you get what you pay for and they are worth their price.
