I ordered from Space General because I needed a closet in a hurry. Their website said "Estimated delivery time: 1-3 business days for North Island," Mine took 8 days when I emailed and finally got a reply as they have no phone number was told they would expitdite my order as delay was caused to black Friday sale. 8 days is hardly expitditing. Would not order from them again or recommend them purely based on there customer service

Loved my purchase, good size, easy to assemble. Purchased a second one for my daughter in law. Great service, delivered within a couple of days, not counting the weekend of course. Second one arrived in a day. Very happy 😊

Tracking parcel was easy too.
Received it in great condition.

Took a chance buying from this store … had never heard of them before, and being online it’s slightly risky. BUT they are so good. I had to email them about something and they emailed straight back! I am absolutely in love with the collections from Space General. It has everything I need to organize and sort out my stuff around the house. Since moving into our new place last month, I somehow found out about Space General and their service has been outstanding. The products they offer are not only affordable but also incredibly practical. While I am not completely certain about the pre-orders, I would definitely recommend their pick-up services, especially if you are in Auckland. Dealing with them has been a breeze, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Happy shopping.

I recently purchased from The Space General (spacegeneral.co.nz) with reservations due to the lack of Google ratings and reviews. I couldn't find any substantial feedback online, apart from a few on Facebook. Despite my skepticism, I decided to give them a chance. Unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory.

Placing the order on 2nd May 2023, I was initially informed that I would receive my package by the mid to end of July. However, this was not the case, and towards the end of July, there was no sign of my order or any updates. I had to follow up myself, only to receive a vague explanation citing "unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances" as the reason for the delay. While I understand that unforeseen issues can arise, the lack of proactive communication was frustrating.

I communicated my displeasure with the situation to The Space General, and their response was unsatisfactory. A mere $15 voucher was offered as compensation, which hardly seems appropriate given the significant delay and lack of communication.

After they pushed the estimated delivery date back to mid-August I requested to cancel my order and received a full refund. This prolonged delay is deeply disappointing and has caused considerable inconvenience.

The absence of Google Ratings and Reviews only adds to my concerns. Transparency is crucial when it comes to making online purchases, and the company should reveal all relevant feedback to help potential customers make informed decisions.

In conclusion, my experience with The Space General has been disheartening. The Space General needs to improve its communication with customers, provide realistic delivery estimates, and be more transparent about customer feedback.

I hope my review serves as a cautionary message for others considering purchasing from The Space General. Proceed with caution and be aware of the potential delays and lack of transparency.
