Flexibility without overwhelm
In preparing for my first market stall I didn't have time to add my full inventory. Square was flexible enough to allow me to operate my stall based on only a few basic product categories/items, with custom amounts entered in real time. On the day, everything just worked and I never felt overwhelmed.

Square set up and use was relatively seamless. The 1.5% fee on transactions is a vast improvement on high monthly fees associated with bank terminals. The fact that you are only charged when you use your square device is a huge bonus.

I think it was reasonably easy to get started and use on the fly.
I think it was reasonably easy to set-up; I liked the transparency of the whole system, particularly of receiving (my) payments. It's well recognised by customers too, and fairly easy for a non-technical person to use. :)
