I can't recommend Stage 5 Trading enough. I am not an affiliate, I do not have an online presence (social media, YouTube, or otherwise), and I gain nothing from writing this review.

Let me start off by saying that whenever I write reviews online they are usually negative. I have very high standards, and I’m not just talking about brokerage firms. I’m not high maintenance, but I feel like the world has lost its integrity and sense of work ethic. After dealing with Kevin McGee and his exceptional service I felt compelled to write something praising both him and Stage 5 Trading.

I've been with nearly all other futures brokers out there in the industry. I kept shopping around because I was never satisfied. I don't ask for much, but I require three things, especially since I'm literally gambling with my savings and lifestyle. That fact that most brokers can’t satisfy these three simple requirements astounds me, but Stage 5 Trading dominates every point:

1) A broker that is fast, reliable, and can answer any question without having to play phone tag or keep me waiting. I want someone on the line IMMEDIATELY.
2) Easy to fund my account and withdraw my profits.
3) Good commission rates.

My broker is Kevin McGee and I have been very well taken care of. He has answers to every question I ask and the speed at which this man responds to my e-mails is almost inhuman. I had my first withdrawal deducted from my account today in only a few minutes after sending him an e-mail. It was so quick that I thought I was trading on SIM for the day, because my account balance was lower than it was just a few minutes prior. I had to double check my Activity Log in Sierra Chart to make sure I didn’t screw something up and actually made money.

Regarding commissions, I’m not sure why anyone would use anyone else other than Stage 5 Trading. Most brokers offer you tiered commission structure based on how much size you trade, but with Stage 5 Trading they allow you to have better than a tiered volume structure (commission-free trading) for a monthly fee, and the fee is very reasonable. You are capping your total commission for the month without having to do thousands of round-turns, so why would you want to trade anywhere else? I care about the bottom line, so I’m always looking to cut costs, and right now I’m at the best place for it. It’s shocking to think that when I first started I was paying $0.79/side with Interactive Brokers.

Lastly, they offer a connection to Teton Order Routing, which is Sierra Chart’s own routing system. Goodbye Rithmic and CQG! What nonsense. There’s always issues and it just gets so old to have to deal with it. You would think that they would have all of this settled by now. I have had ZERO problems with Sierra Chart, their routing service, and their charting platform, and will not ever trade under anything else. Stage 5 sets you up with both out of the box, and it took me less than a day to get up and running when I first came to them. There’s no jumping through hoops.

I could write much more, but I think you get the point. People keep telling me to switch to EdgeClear, “just because”, and I always tell them to go to hell. I’m a loyal Stage 5 Trading client for life.

I have been working with stage 5 as my broker for almost one year now and I can hands down say this is the best broker of choice, primarily down to the incredibly quick and efficient the broker managers are in dealing with requests. I have dealt with Kevin McGee since I first opened my account and his service is world class. I would absolutely recommend!!

What made my experience great is how fast Stage 5 staff respond to concerns especially Mr. Kevin. Frequently follow up to ensure that any challenges you are getting in the process are immediately addressed. The flexibility of acquiring a live account through Teton routing is what amazed me most
