Well 1star is probably little on the high side !!booked a top room for the weekend £570 room was very dated , dirty , dark , carpet was sticky , bathroom tiles broken , dead flies on the inner side of the curtains and chairs smelt horrible had to put a travel blanket on them out of my car to sit in them , bar £25.50 for pint of cider and a Malibu and coke !!! Day light robbery, was told last orders for a meal was 7 pm on 1st night we arrived by reception to find out not true !! So travelled to melton for take food , Saturday been out came back at 6 pm wife fancied a swim and use spa told closed at 7 pm on Saturdays!! Great spa hotel !!!

My husband and I had a spa day booked. All staff were really lovely and the treatments were great, this is why they’re getting the 3 stars. But other than that, the place is dated and needs some serious refurbishment. It also doesn’t flow at all.
The spa is in a total different building to the pool. We arrived for our day at 9:30 to be told our treatments didn’t start until 1:30 & 2.30 and afternoon tea was at 3:45. We managed to change our lunch for earlier. But it was a faff using the pool which is small & dated, getting dressed for lunch because you can’t wear your robe, then having to go back over to the spa building for treatments to get undressed again.
Spa building smelt old too and the changing facilities could also do with some serious work.
It’s a shame really because the buildings and grounds are very grand, but this did not feel like a spa day.

Me & my wife stayed here on the 24 august and I can say its beautiful but beneath the covers it is filthy.spa smells the same as a septic tank.the rooms smell the same as an old people’s home.but the worst thing is the mattress in ur rooms. We had one of the best rooms & it was disgusting bad bad stains all over it.you could get a better mattress from a tip than what we had to sleep on. The manager is a French man who does not listen & does not reply to your email when it is bought to his attention. If you are staying here strip your bed first.

As a wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of working at Stapleford Park and I can say without a doubt that it is one of the most beautiful wedding venues I have ever seen. However, if you prefer, you can even bring in your own preferred caterer.
The luxurious individually designed bedrooms provide the perfect place for guests to retire to at the end of the celebrations. Stapleford Park truly has all the ingredients for a perfect wedding, and it is easy to see why it is such a sought-after venue.
