Our experience with Sapphire Resorts has been nothing short of horrible. We’ve always felt that the service was poor overall, and yet we still fulfilled our mortgage in full. Once we owed nothing, we inquired about canceling our membership. We spoke with a woman named Candice, who told us we needed to pay them a $2,000 fee to cancel, which is absolutely ridiculous. After a bit of back and forth, she said the best they could do was $1,000, only to turn around and tell us we would only be approved for the $2,000 fee anyway. This felt like the used car salesman going to “speak to the manager,” only to come back with nothing changed. This is a heinous business practice, and we’re beyond frustrated with them. Do not do business with Sapphire Resorts or the Jockey Club. They will scam you.

I was blatantly misled from the start…
I was blatantly misled from the start of this process. I specifically asked if I could cancel this arrangement at any time and was assured it wouldn’t be an issue. That was a complete lie. Instead, I unknowingly signed a 45-year agreement that has been nothing but a financial and emotional nightmare for me and my family.
The promises made during that meeting were empty, and now I feel trapped in a situation that has drained my resources and left me with no way out. Despite my repeated attempts to get help, no one has given me real answers. The lack of accountability is appalling, and I feel like I’ve been scammed out of my hard-earned money.
I am demanding, once again, a way to cancel this membership entirely. The urgency of this matter cannot be overstated. It’s almost that time of year when they try to charge me another outrageous fee, and I still have no idea how this benefits me in any way. This situation needs to be resolved immediately. Don’t get involved with this resort because every representative I’ve talked to has told me a lie. I will continue to file complaints against this company until someone is willing to talk to me and resolve this matter immediately.

Terrible experience with high pressured sales person who calmly told us that we would sit through the full 2-hour presentation and continued to pressure us into a buy well past that time. He indicated that we were somewhat stupid to decline an offer to hand over $11k for a program we knew nothing about. If it smells like a scam I’d say that we call it a scam.

I strongly caution anyone considering Sapphire Resorts – this company operates like a predatory scam. Their sales tactics are built on lies and empty promises designed to lure you in. They promised extra trips and exclusive benefits that never materialized, leaving me feeling deceived and cheated. The entire experience was a nightmare, with zero accountability or follow-through from their team. If I could give them less than zero stars, I would. Save your money and steer clear of Sapphire Resorts – you will regret falling for their manipulative tactics.
Sapphire Nightmare!
Our experience with Sapphire Resorts has been nothing short of nightmarish. We’ve actually paid our mortgage IN FULL to the company, and they still won’t let us cancel our account. They want us to pay yearly membership fees for something that we can’t ever seem to use. We’ve contacted them over and over, asking to cancel memberships, but they just keep saying “it’s a lifetime contract!” “There’s nothing you can do about it!”
It’s disgusting, bad-faith business dealing, and we won’t stand for it any longer. Don’t do business with Sapphire Resorts unless you’re looking to get scammed for life.

If I could give them a zero I would. Complete scam artists and untrustworthy people! My husband was in the military when they approached us. They wouldn’t let us discuss anything alone to make a decision. One of their representatives told me to just purchase through Expedia because it’s cheaper. Don’t go to their presentations!!!

This company is the worse. 1 star is even too good for them. They talk you into signing up with all these deals and as soon as you sign up all they want is money from you. After I signed up I got a call a year later talking about points and asking if I wanted to get more points without being told I would have to pay more. I was never told about yearly maintenance fees at the start so every year you are locked into paying a fee that can actually take you on a vacation. The list goes on and I can keep typing but im sure others have the same thing to say. After paying about 14 grand canadian for this timeshare I still have to pay 1200 canadian a year for the maintenance. I try to get out and I was told I need to pay 3 grand canadian. They are horrible and I would not recommend anyone getting into this. Keep your money for yourself.

Truly disappointed with Sapphire Resort membership, I wish we would have cancelled when given the chance. Their customer services people are full of lies, they just tell you what you want to hear. Thought them being partnered with RCI so we could visit different resorts was great, I didn't think to book our stays we would have to pay more than what it would cost to book on a regular booking website like Expedia. What is the use of paying for points, then to pay to use them. I would not recommend anyone to use them.

I have had a very poor experience with Sapphire. They tricked me and my wife and told us lies to get us to buy their "timeshare....or whatever you want to call it". They promised free vacations that we could never book. They take your money and never look back. If you are considering their product, I strongly warn you ahead of time. These people are running a devious scam on unsuspecting vacationers. For those that can't afford to pay cash for the timeshare, they get you to "finance" it (about 10k) so you are then locked in. Also, there is annual fee of over $700 a year that you pay for the 45-50 years that you are obligated to pay. Don't do it.

Their response was unhelpful and did little to resolve the issue, leaving me feeling frustrated and unheard. Our experience with Sapphire Resorts has been nothing but disappointing. From the start, we were not given enough information to effectively use the program. Booking vacations was complicated, with limited options and unclear rules about forfeiting points. It took months to figure out how to access the RCI website, and even then, we were hit with additional fees and pressured into upgrading our membership, losing promised benefits in the process.
Resort amenities weren’t included, and we discovered we could book the same resorts online for less, with all amenities included. For example, an all-inclusive resort in Mexico costs $3500 through Sapphire but only $1500 on a hotel website. Adding monthly payments and fees, it’s clear this program is overpriced and overly complicated.
We feel misled by Sapphire Resorts and hope they address the lack of transparency and hidden costs. We no longer want to do business with them, and they refuse to allow us a way out.

It is unfair to be stuck in a situation like this. Signing something that wasn’t properly explained, only to have customer service dismiss your concerns, is unacceptable. This experience leaves you feeling unheard and trapped. We urge others to be cautious and avoid going through the same challenges with this company.
I was invited to do sales consulting at…
I was invited to do sales consulting at sapphire by an employee. The front of the operation looks somewhat professional. I noticed there was a back room of only black people wearing primarily red clothing, basketball shorts, and even pajamas. One of their employees was reprimanded by HR for stalking me on 5 occasions verified by video CCTV.
A friend of that employee called the police claiming that I was waiving a gun around. I was arrested, a thorough investigation took place, all charges were dropped and the case was dismissed.
I later did some digging and found out the ownership is friends with a freemason group I have won multiple criminal and settlement cases against which targeted me over a commodity I have equity in.
No this is a trash company putting on a professional front as they are involved in things well outside of timeshare.

This company just doesn't care about its customers or doing the right thing. Don't fall for it. Sapphire Resorts will take your money, lie to your face, and then act like it's your fault for not being able to deal with the mess they created.
Sapphire Resorts has been a total nightmare. Don't get involved with this company. We've been trying to solve a ton of problems with them, but they've been impossible to work with. They've even had the nerve to say that I'm the one who's refusing their help! The "help" they offer is completely useless. We've told them over and over about the lies multiple employees told us when we signed up. We've given them all the details numerous times, but they just don't care. They won't listen, they won't own up to their employees' dishonesty, and they won't even try to fix the real problem.
Their best suggestions are a joke. They ask, "Why don't you just use your timeshare?" Well, we can't—that's the whole point. The very reasons we can't use it are the reasons we're so upset. Their other idea is for us to sell it. We're not doing that for two reasons. First, this thing is worthless. Second, we're not going to lie to someone else just so they can sue us later for the exact same deceptions Sapphire is guilty of.
Blue sapphire are the worst company
We were approached in Vegas on August 2025. They tried to sell us on the idea of this program by offering promos like 200 dollars towards plays at the casino....said we could asy no and that would be it. The sale rep kept pushing us to buy this time share. We kept telling him we couldn't afford it. After recovering the gifts. The 200 dollars was at a slot machine that u couldn't win actual money on. It was only the promo slot machines total scam just to get you to buy...

We want to share our experience with Sapphire Resorts to warn others about the lack of service and support we’ve received since purchasing a timeshare membership. Unfortunately, our experience has been nothing but negative, and we feel completely let down by the company.
Since buying the timeshare, my family and I haven’t been able to use it as promised. We were led to believe it would be a great opportunity for family vacations, but that hasn’t been the case at all.
On top of that, we attended two meetings to upgrade our membership for more points, but when we politely declined, the representatives became rude, nasty, and unprofessional. It was an upsetting and alarming experience that made us lose even more trust in the company.
We’ve tried countless times to speak to someone about our concerns, but no one has been able to help. Now, we’re stuck with a timeshare that doesn’t meet our needs, and we just want out of it.
This is not a company we would recommend doing business with. We hope they will take this timeshare back and put an end to this frustrating experience8
