Dishonest transaction
I was in the process of cancelling a subscription to another app, “Dressly” and when I hit ‘submit’ the Stopee screen popped up stating that I would need to pay $1.61 to enable the cancellation to occur. I did this by providing my debit card details.A couple of days later, my account was debited by Stopee for $87.71. I tried to ask for a refund but they refused stating that I accepted the subscription. However, they did not have my consent nor was it explicitly stated that I was joining for a subscription. This is a scam. I would not recommend this company as they refuse to acknowledge their error and according to “Dressly” they have no connection with Stopee so therefore their business appears to slyly show they are a part of the cancellation process and then accept your payment of the small fee to be your agreement to subscribe to their service. I note other reviewers have experienced similar issues. Stay away from this company.
Update: In relation to Stopee’s reply below, they requested I fill out a form which asks for a reference number. I am unable to do so as no reference number was supplied to me in the first place. I am hoping they will provide the number so that I can complete their form.

Da jeg søgte på Google om, hvordan jeg kunne opsige abonnement hos mofibo, kom formular fra stopee (med mofibo logo) frem øverst.
Jeg havde forståelsen af, at det var en formular mofibo brugte til opsigelse, men da jeg få dage senere blev opkrævet 366 kr. , viste det sig at jeg uforvarent havde tegnet et abonnement hos stopee til 366 kr. om måneden.
Ut har kontaktet stopee - har opsagt abonnementet fremadrettet, men har fået at vide at jeg ikke kan få de 366 kr. retur, som er trukket!!!
