From check out to bringing me new clients, StyleSeat has been top tier

Higher fees! Hard to contact and still charge me 30% on my referrals to my site

Being a Top Pro on Styleseat has been extremely beneficial to my business. I’ve been connected to over 40 new clients since the beginning of the year.

My Honest Review of StyleSeat

As a licensed cosmetologist and salon owner, I used StyleSeat to manage bookings and streamline my business. In the beginning, it worked — clean interface, automatic reminders, and an easy way for clients to book.

But as I grew, StyleSeat didn’t grow with me.

The fees became too high for the value. My clients were being charged without clear communication. Customization was limited — my brand got lost. And when issues came up? Support was slow or non-existent. Worse, they’d suggest other stylists to my own clients — even though I was paying them to use the platform.

What could they do better?
✅ Center the stylist, not just the platform.
✅ Improve payment transparency.
✅ Offer real customer service.
✅ Stop redirecting clients to competitors.

Been using for years, I just wish there was a contact number for customer service. I hate waiting days for my issue to be resolved. I feel if there was number things could get handled faster.

This is the best experience I could ever have with my business.
I been working hard to promote my work and get a lot of reviews on special media and thanks to StyleSeat I been having the chance to get more clients too because they’ve boosting my profile.

I appreciate the clientele provided. I’ve met great clients on styleseat that have become loyal clients. I’ve also had an influx of solicitors that get my information from styleseat. I think that needs to be vetted better. I’ve blocked several random solicitors stating they got my information from styleseat. Secondly. I pay for the $35 service monthly on top of styleseat takes a $50 fee for all new clients. With that being said I think the least that can be done is protecting our information.

I’ve been with Styleseat for a while now, and it is overall a good platform to conduct your business from. I like that they offer certain things to the stylist on Styleseat , I’ve taken loans out through Styleseat provided by stripe and it’s been a life changer and life saver!! For my business. I am forever grateful for that. Styleseat has brought me some loyal clients, and continues to help grow my business. The only draw back for me is there are a lot of fees.

Helpful to new upcoming stylist but the fees are ridiculous especially when you already pay a monthly subscription

I love Styleseat Being a top pro has helped me gain more clients. I have gotten 38 new clients from January to July 1st.
I recently had a situation with a client who complained to styleseat about a deposit, which is non refundable. I like how styleseat supported me and made me feel confidence about my business policies.

On top pro but ain’t getting clients from StyleSeat I always add my own client and I’m thinking of getting myself off from premium.

I don't like the photos that are used on the marketplace they're not showing my work they're showing old pictures I have been licensed for 14 years and you guys are showing pictures from 14 years ago

Apps just not very affective I pay monthly for them to send me new client referrals that’s not happening, then when I post my link around and people use it then sign up for the app style seat takes credit like they brought me a new client not to mention all the fees they charge clients so then clients won’t wanna book though the app then settle seat blames the stylist for lack of books I’ve complained and still no real help or resolution to these issues

I have been on Styleseat for almost 4 years and I can say that I enjoy being a Top Pro. I have been working really hard towards this. Styleseat really does help build your business if you put in the work. The clients are able to ask questions in the inbox and send reference pictures. I love Styleseat and I can't wait until they send my email to do my video about being on Styleseat. I promote them all the time. The only thing that I would say could use some work is the communication between Styleseat and the stylist. It's hard to contact someone when you need help right then. Styleseat ensures that every week Im booked and busy I love that they help me run my business Im able to send out newsletters and emails to my clients when I have events, sales, or promotions. The fees seem a bit much but I just say the more people that I do the better the odds will be. Overall Styleseat is a very useful tool for building clients as long as you play by the rules. You do your part they do theirs.

You guys have built my barber clientele tremendously by bringing me new clients!!! I can’t thank you enough!!!! I greatly appreciate you!!!
