They were almost 5 stars, I knocked one off because there was something wrong with the roof after they fitted the panels, they came back and fiddled around and it was all fine afterwards, but they didn't do anything about the water marks in the ceiling.
The Powerwall installation was a full 5 star job.

I contacted Sunlit Solar over a problem with the My Solar Edge app relating to a solar/battery installation. They responded promptly and took up the issue, keeping me informed, which was quickly resolved.

Excellent Service from start to finish
Sunlit Solar provided really good advice on the system set up and requirements and answered all of my questions. The DNO approval was handled by them and the installation took place really quickly. This included removal of my old roof windows to make space for two extra solar panels. The installation team were polite and kept me updated. They ensured that I installed the Apps I needed to monitor the system and showed me how to use them.
There were a couple of teething problems due to the old consumer unit after the installation, but the team came back really quickly and these were resolved. I had a question a few months after the job was completed. This was answered immediately, by providing me with details of who to email at Tesla and what to say in the email.
I would definitely recommend the company to anyone getting a solar/battery installation.

Install, walk away, no customer care!
Installers are efficient and pleasant. Office manager is unhelpful, give completely the wrong advice and overrides engineers charging decisions. Installed a Zappi EV charger, when we tried to register it, could not get the code required. Asked for assistance and were told that we would be charged a call out charge. Accepted this, only for the engineer to tell us that it was an update issue and that we would not be charged. Office Manager insisted that this was NOT the case and insisted on charging us, so paid the bill. Now cannot get the charger to work properly on bump charging, so rang Sunlit Solar for help, Office Manager said it was nothing to do with them and that I should speak to charger company. The charger company said that there was nothing they could do and told us to speak to energy company! I have done this and now not only does it not bump charge, but did not carry out regular night time charge, meaning that my daughter could not get to work this morning. Absolutely useless, no doubt we will get charged again, when the charger requires another update, no customer care, just sell the product and walk away and the office manager is unpleasant to deal with.

As the MD of a small, family-run business, I am very proud of the knowledge, skills and hard-working ethic that my team, both on the installation side and in the office, maintain.
Our understanding is that you are engaged in an “Agile” energy tariff where your electricity company essentially “takes control” of your charger and dictates when it can charge. As we have explained, if there is some kind of error to this tariff functioning properly, this is not something we can help with.
When our engineers came and checked the fitting and functionality of the charger, they found that there was nothing wrong with the installation or the equipment. However, when you speak to your electricity company (or Myenergi), if they find an issue with the installation or functionality of the equipment, please reach out to us directly and we will work with you to get this resolved. – Mike Rogers MD
Excellent installation and support
Excellent installation process all on time no problems. Subsequent faults with Solar Edge equipment followed up by admin and engineering staff. Solar Edge replaced equipment and everything now working well.

Amazing service and job completion
Amazing service and job completion. Great office staff, with prompt and efficient service. The reports we received were comprehensive and give us a clear understanding of the process and what we could save. Installation was swift and very professional, from the election of the scaffolding to the sign off and downloading of the phone application. Have had two Installation now and would fully recommend.

Prompt service. They arrived on the correct date and finished on time. Scaffolders and Solar panels fixers were all nice men providing an efficient service reducing my electricity bills appreciably. Highly recommend
