Supaphoto Reviews

Outstanding service from Supaphoto and truly miraculous recovery work!

I sent in an old VHS tape that had unfortunately suffered significant mould damage over the years from being in my loft for too long. I was genuinely worried the footage was lost for good.. The team at Supaphoto were completely transparent from the outset about the delicate, specialist cleaning and moisture-removal process required to save it without causing damage to the tape.

Their care and patience paid off - they managed to successfully recover the footage and turn an irreplaceable memory for our family into clear digital format. There was excellent communication throughout from the team at Supaphoto. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough to anyone needing precious family archives or media restoring.

Kind regards, Lee

Thank you for the work and saving the VHS

The Supaphoto's team have always been so helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them. They worked hard to retrieve footage from my 50+ year old ciné film, and to convert umatic tape to digital for me. Excellent service.

Transfer of my 40 year old band music from cassette recording into digital format. Impressive on all levels. Recommended.

I honestly cannot thank Supaphoto enough for the incredible job they have done recovering our old video tapes and cassettes. My mum recently passed away, and having the opportunity to revisit these precious memories of her and our family means more to us than words can ever express.

When they sent us a sample and we finally got to watch the footage, it was such an emotional and special experience. Seeing those moments again felt like being given a little piece of our past back, at a time when we needed it most.

The care, effort and attention they put into their work are truly commendable. They have done far more than simply recover old tapes; they have helped preserve memories that are now absolutely priceless to us.

I am genuinely grateful for their excellent service, professionalism and the care they have taken with something so personal and irreplaceable. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to preserve their family memories.

Thank you for helping us hold on to moments that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

1980s vhs video converted to digital. Very pleased with the result and done in a few days. Will definitely use Supaphoto again.

Definitely be using them again , i was surprised how well the turned out as the reels have been sat in a box for 50yrs . They were very helpful over the phone and explained everything .

I needed two VHS and one Hi8 camcorder tape converted to digital format and I'm glad I found Supaphoto. What made me choose the company were the excellent reviews. I got an extremely fast response to my initial query and I was greeted by very friendly staff when I dropped my tapes off at the studio, and I was also very impressed with all of their specialised equipment they had.

I wasn't looking for either the cheapest or quickest service but I was looking for a high quality service and Supaphoto are one of the few companies around that offer both excellent customer service and a high quality service. I look forward to using them again in the future which I certainly will be doing as I have more videos to convert plus some very old 1940s family photographs I'd like digitizing.

What a good service. Philip is so friendly & helpful & does a good job in good time. We had a good laugh too.

Extremely fast, professional and friendly service. Very pleased

Really friendly and professional service, quick, professional and good pricing structure. Kept informed at each stage and looking forward to watching some old memories from cine films, highly recommended.

I can’t recommend SUPAPHOTO highly enough. I had some old wedding video tapes that had unfortunately developed mould, and another company had told me they could not be digitised. SUPAPHOTO’s specialist expertise and careful mould-treatment process made all the difference, enabling them to successfully recover and digitise the tapes.

From the very beginning, their service was compassionate, professional and reassuring. They understood how emotionally important these recordings were and treated them with the care and respect they deserved. Thanks to their skill and dedication, our wedding memories have been preserved and can now be enjoyed again for years to come.

This was far more than a technical service, it was the rescue of irreplaceable family memories. Thank you to everyone at SUPAPHOTO for taking such care with something so precious. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs expert help preserving old or damaged video tapes.

They were so friendly to work with and delivered my project so quickly. They converted an old audio cassette from the 70s to a digital format which unlocked precious memories that I feared were lost forever. So happy! Thank you guys 👍

Supaphoto are friendly, helpful, don't confound you with technology, work fast and go above and beyond to deliver high quality results. I needed some ancient slides scanned into tiffs for print repro and the team took huge pains to deliver the best possible results.

Upon clearing out my loft, I came across a box of slides which were in excess of 50 years old. I decided to bite the bullet & send some of them to Supaphoto in the hope that they may be able to transfer the images to USB. Im so glad I found this company! Within a week, I had them returned to me along with the images brought to life on my chromebook. Emile kept me informed of progress every step of the way & was very prompt in replying to my queries. I will be using their services again in the very near future & would not hesitate to recommend them 100% I now have some beautiful childhood photos which to me are totally priceless. Thank you Supaphoto ! I only wish that all companies were as pleasing to deal with...

Timely, .easy to use, very helpful

Supaphoto have been so helpful and I am delighted with the results. They have digitalised some very old super8 cine film for me. Some parts of the film were very dark and virtually impossible to see. I can now see it clearly!
Can't recommend Supaphoto highly enough.

I engaged the services of Supaphoto to try and save a family video tape that that had been packed away for years and thought was safe. Sadly even though it was in a sturdy case when opened the black tape was almost purely white with mould (see photo). I honestly thought it was wiped out and gone forever. But I was talked through the process and how it would have to have the moisture removed and cleaned and how taking time to do it would make it easier to salvage.

Cut to my surprise today to hear (much earlier than expected) that it was not gone forever but that it had been cleaned, visuals made better and that I would be getting back footage of my family that was thought lost forever.

I highly recommend turning to Supaphoto to salvage your old media affected by moisture and mould as well as transferring the media so you can have your precious memories given new life to enjoy forever.

Excellent service from Supaphoto. They developed my Super 8 film quickly, professionally, and at a very competitive price. The team was knowledgeable, competent, and took the time to explain every step of the process, answering all my questions in detail. Communication was outstanding throughout, and I felt my film was in safe hands from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable, high-quality film processing.

If I could give ten stars I would. Bereavement is never easy and being overseas when a loved one dies makes it harder. When a neighbor spied some old reels in a closet and sent me the pictures, I knew I had to find out what was on those reels. At nearly 100 years old and taken by my grandfather, who was an avid photographer and early adopter of cinematography, I sought out a digitization service. Unlike other services who refuse to deal with customers who are not in the UK, Supaphoto didn't hesitate to help. Not only that, Philip and I chatted about the reels on WhatsApp. Every so often you talk to a complete stranger and wish you could meet in person and that describes Philip. I cannot say how thrilled I was with the result. Not only that, after all was said and done and paid for, Philip noticed that two of the reels needed a small tweak and sent me updated versions. Absolutely would recommend!
