I won't be back. Too many times now I personally have had staff be both rude and ignorant to myself and other customers, unprofessional and shoddy products.

Poor Governance
Glen Waverly Store, Melbourne. A man came in and started screaming and using obscenities towards a staff member in front of their child. I couldn’t believe it: Nothing was done to protect the mental wellbeing of the staff member. WorkSafe > Safety and Wellbeing > Psychological Health - Not to mention other customers like me. My boss used to kick out abusive customers. When I asked why, he said “It upsets the other customers”. He treated me well and stood up for all of us, which I will always be grateful for. When will Supercheap comply with the legislation and step up to protect young people from bullies and cowards?
Computer system hopeless
Staff in shop are always very helpful. The system to buy on line and review products is hopeless. Wrong products linked to wrong customers.
I paid for installation but
I paid for 3 wipers and I paid the extra for the installation. Two were available and installed The third came today and I was told to pay again for installation. Well I will never ever again shop at this business

I went to the Kallangur store today to…
I went to the Kallangur store today to get some coolant and some windscreen fluid around 2:00pm . The amount of disrespect that I received was unbelievable and unacceptable. I was directed by the front staff to go to the service and parts for assistance . When I got there I asked for help and gave them my rego . The lady asked if I knew thecurrent colour of my coolant and I said no . She then asked the guy next to her to go and help me check my coolant to which he said “no” . The lady then asked me to go and check myself but I told her I didn’t know how to . She then just stared at me so I went outside and asked a stranger to help me . The stranger helped me and then I went back in to try and get the right supplies . I was looking for the aisle for the coolant while the two stared at me .
Two guys walked passed them and the guy said “ hey , can I help you with anything ? “ offered to help straight away and went to a different aisle to help the two gentlemen . I finally found the right aisle and then called my brother to ask which type of coolant to get . While I was talking to my brother the guy walked into the aisle with an older gentleman and was helping him .
Thankful another gentleman that I hadn’t seen came and asked if I needed help and then directed me to the right place .
To completely ignore someone and refuse to help is beyond me . The kallangur store use to be great and super helpful but I don’t believe so anymore . I will be going to lawnton from now on .

Sad to see all the negative reviews for supercheap auto. I've found everyone I've met in store nationwide to be super friendly and helpful, great pricing and overall a positive experience. Perhaps people excpect too much or I've just been lucky but if i could I would give them 10/5!
Disappointed
I purchased part from Supercheap for my car online and paid for fitting , I went to the store on the same day to fit the part.
The girl over the counter picked up the part and gave it to me, I said to her the fitting has also been paid for this part, she approached her manager who advised her to tell customer we are short on staff can't fit it in today, come back tomorrow.
My response to her was that I live other side of town, I can't come back tomorrow, it should only takes a few minutes for your floor staff to fit it in. I then picked up the part, it is sitting in my car, I have to take it to some other place and pay again to fit it in.
Unfortunately, as much as I'd like to support the business but I'm very hesitant to consider Supercheap store anymore.
Super cheap now untrustworthy
Super cheap used to be a company of quality, one I'd rely on... However now... I'm absolutely disgusted.. they have sent me items I didn't purchase, parts I brought that were specific for my car arrived specific for a while different type of vehicle.... They send dodgy sites to track your package, which they say is with nzpost .. but their tracking information doesn't work on nzpost app... Making me feel like they are letting hackers into my system by sending dodgy links... i feel their systems need full investigation... as there is most certainly something dodgy going on here. I do not recommend trading with super cheap auto anymore....

I ORDERED A TOP RADIATOR HOSE FROM SUPER CHEAP I PICKED IT ON AND HAD TO INSTALL IT AS CAR WAS IN BUSHLAND..IT WAS NOT THE CORRECT HOSE NO BEND TO ACCOUNT FOR THE POWER STERRING REFILL.TOLD TO BRING CAR IN SHOW WAS INCORRECT WOULD REPLACE WITH PROPPER HOSE IF IN STOCK...THEY CLAIM THE HOSE WAS MIXED UP ALTHOUGH THR CPOMPUTER SHOWED TO CORRECT HOSE AND NUMBER THE HOSE SUPPLIED WAS INCORRECT NO BEND....ANSWER ..TOO BAD IT ON YOUR CAR YO HAVE TO KEEP IT NO REPLACEMENT NO REFUND....WENT TO AUTOBARN THEY GAVE ME THE CORRECT HOSE IN MINUTES ,,DO NOT DEAL WITH SUPERCHEAP THEY ARE SCAMMERS AMD VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS.. NO WONDER THIER REVIEW IS ONLY 2 OUTA 5 GO TO AUTOBARN
Very poor service for online order
Ordered a polisher online on 23/09/2025. The delivery date was scheduled for between 30/09 and 02/10/2025 which is already a long time to wait considering the usual standards out there. Never received a tracking order reference, the goods did not arrive on 02/10 and never received any communication from Supercheap Auto to re-set expectations.
Phoned them up on 03/10 to be told that it may arrive on 8 October! By then I decided to cancel the order as I could find other online retailers with a 2 day delivery.

I went to Kangaroo Flat store looking for a trailer jockey wheel.
When I entered the store a young store person was busily scanning some goods he looked up & asked if he could help me I said yes please & enquired if the store had a jockey wheel as per my sample he said I'm too busy I'm scanning these goods to help.
I asked for the store manager who limped his way from behind the counter to assist but unfortunately no product available.
Upon my leaving the store I said to the storeperson who was scanning you keep on scanning son.
It's no wonder people go online when staff are not properly trained in customer service.

Been searching for seat belt extenders in Australia went into this store at Raymond Terrace and the young guy looked and said they had sold out but more coming next week and said they don't fit all cars, but ours being old didn't think it would be a problem. Returned the next week and sure enough exactly what I've been searching for and was even allowed to try in the parking lot before purchase. Now where else do you get service like that. 100% SUPERCHEAP AUTO

I purchased an SCA wet dry vacuum cleaner. On the second use it started to blow through both the suction and blow out. The one of the plastic rollers fell off. I was invited to post a review. I write an honest review. I received an email to say my review had been moderated and would not be published. If this abitary silencing about dodgy products takes place then how can I ever trust any review published on thier page again? I've since opened an account with Auto Pro across the road.

Salisbury SA store ripped me off due to incompetence. I don't expect them to be automotive experts but I would have thought the store manager to have some minimal automotive knowledge. Obviously the store manager is in that position due to being a sycophant.

Had a ripper experience at Supercheap Auto the other day. Prices were cheap as, especially on oils and cleaning gear, and they’ve always got some decent specials running. Staff were legends too

Bought a windshield wiper for my car.
When I was going to install it, I'm aware that the product was used and there were missing parts.
I went to the store at 8:30 in the morning, and the man in the counter was talking on the phone, I had to wait more than 10 minutes waiting until someone looked after me. The lady was extremely rude with me when I mentioned that who's going to pay my time and petrol as the are selling used products and still made me wait for another 10 minutes at the store. That was at Watergardens store. I will not buy anymore at Super cheap auto and I strongly recommend not to buy from those guys.
Special order
I am very disappointed with Supercheap auto nz. Especially Linwood, Christchurch. I order a special order on the 29th May 2025, and got a confirmation email saying that I should have my part between the 4th-10th of June 2025. But never got it, so I emailed them and they told it usually takes 2 weeks and my ETA was the 17th of June 2025. Still haven't got or heard anything from them, and now it's the 23rd if June 2025. Worst customer service, even in store. I even brought two separate orders at $100 ea within a month and I got no rewards. I'm better off going to my local Repco store that has better customer service, and I get my parts when they say or even earlier. But if my order is going to be a bit later, they get contact me with either a phone call or email. And I get rewards points every time I order from them. Never going to buy from Supercheap auto again
