The worst customer service
The worst customer service I have ever received. I tried 3 times to get someone to contact me back (after hours) for close to 2 weeks - no response, doesn't seem like they check those.
I had an online order that wasn't fulfilled for a month. All the order tracking said it wasn't even shipped out yet, which was absurd! Turns out it's because their system had a glitch and it was shipped to store, now I only have a few days to pick it up.
On the customer service side, when I finally got in contact with someone, they did a bait and switch tactic saying that "compensation is offered on a case by case basis and not guaranteed", just to later say that compensation is not available. It'd be one thing if they just said no to begin with, but I really didn't appreciate their obviously insincere tactic to attempt to placate customers. I was already frustrated to begin with which is why I asked for compensation (for the first time ever, I've never asked this from a company before), but I really didn't like they're dismissive attitude.
Definitely won't shop here again.

NEVER ORDER ONLINE.
This is, without a doubt, the worst company I have ever ordered from. Their online user experience is terrible. Over 2 weeks ago I purchased a dress online and went to the store to exchange it for a smaller size, only to discover they don’t allow direct in-store exchanges. Instead, I had to return the dress online and request through customer service they waive the $7 return shipping fee.
After completing the online return, I went to the store to purchase the dress in a medium. Instead of refunding the original payment method, they issued me a gift card without explanation. When I emailed to ask why the refund wasn’t processed to my original payment, they completely ignored that part of the message. Only noting that they sent the $7 shipping fee to original payment. I don’t want a gift card, I want a REFUND to my card.
This entire process, a whole 2 weeks I’ve been going back and forth with customer service, which should have been a simple size exchange, was unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. Their customer service is appalling, and the quality of their clothing is no better. Items don’t last beyond two washes before falling apart. This experience has left such a bad impression that I’ll never shop at this store again.

I recently placed an online order and purchased a prestige card at the same time. While my order arrived, the prestige card was not included. Yesterday, I visited one of their stores to make a purchase, and despite showing proof of my prestige card purchase, the staff couldn’t apply the discount.
Today, I reached out to customer service and spoke with a representative named Nancy. She informed me that if I place another order online, they could apply a 10% refund afterward. I asked if they could waive the shipping fee due to their error, especially considering I had already visited the store. Unfortunately, Nancy firmly refused, suggesting I have the order shipped to the store for pickup instead to avoid the shipping fee.
Given that this issue was their mistake, I expected a bit more effort to make things right. I don’t think waiving the shipping fee is an unreasonable request under the circumstances. Based on this experience, I won’t be doing business with this company again. Their customer service has been disappointing.
Rushed and perfect
I placed an order Thursday night, realized Friday morning that I move on Wednesday and reached out to customer service to see if there was anything they could do. I ended up getting my order today. Customer service was so sweet

Sizing is terrible. Makes a normal size person feel huge. I’m 5’1 and 140 lbs. usually wearing a medium but it looked too small so I got a large and it didn’t fit. The girl looks at me and says - you’re too big for a large. Are you kidding me??? Never shopping here again!!!

I will give -10 to this store if I could. Pricey on cheap quality of material and not allowed for refund and only exchange within 14 days. The store sales associate don’t care and shows me attitude there is no refund. So I brought the exchanged ones home and washed the clothes and can not wear the second time. If the company is not making good revenue, please just shut down and eat the loss.

I shopped a year ago at the Sheppard and Young Street store ( The Sheppard center ) The staff at that time were excellent and very helpful. This month I went twice and both times there were 2 young women at the cash and they were extremely unprofessional. They were very loud, laughing and talking about personal matters. Not once did they leave the cash or offer help. I went again in May 2024 and the same 2 young women were shopping and trying on shorts. Again very loud and obnoxious and ignoring customers. They honestly did not seem to give a hoot what the customers thought.
I left and will not be back.
Gift Card amount
I had a gift card for $30.57 so I bought a sweater at Guildford Mall in Surrey, BC I bought a sweater and the total was $30.58. So the cashier said I owed 0.1 cent so I gave him an American penny. He said he couldn't accept American money and that I could use my debit card for 0.1cent. I told him the American money is worth more than the Canadian penny. He called another staff member and she said that I owe 0.10 cents and I told her that the cashier said that I owe 0.1 cent. She called her manager and the manager said that I owe 0.10 cents and that they would but 0.8 cents back on my Suzy Shier gift card!
I was shocked, because if they owed me 0.1 cents I wouldn't ask for it back. What poor customer service and policies. They could have cancelled the 0.1 cents at the beginning and we could have called it even, but they had to hassle and give me attitude. I stopped buying from Suzy Shier 20 years ago because of their poor return policy and the only reason I went back was to use up the gift card. I have told my experience to many family and friends and warned them not to shop at Suzy Shier.
The store is not worth shopping at because of their awful return policy and awful customer service.

I hate their customer service representative, they are mean and fake. I went to the location of square one in Missisauga to find a job. I went to talk to the representative when she saw me holding a paper, she immediately turned to her colleague and said " Ahh!! These people come with resume!!" in a supper arrogant and annoying tone. Then when I said Hi she was like " No, we are not hiring currently" in a sweet voice. I was like Oh man I know your reality but I didn't say anything, but I felt extremely sad hearing her. It was the most awful experience of mine from 23 stores which I visited.
