Today I was let down by a national competitor of SC&V (it definitely wasn't Enterpise, nudge nudge wink wink) who messed me about for a pre-booked, pre-paid hire this morning.

I went to these guys instead, and literally within 10 minutes of arriving in reception I was driving away in the much needed van I was after from Enterprise.

Honestly, dead easy, gave them my driving license, showed a bank statement to prove address and off I went.

10/10 for Swindon Car & Van, really impressed. Cheers lads.

The van I received was unclean and had a strong garbage smell. Rubbish from the previous user was still inside, which indicates the vehicle wasn’t checked before use. This needs improvement.

The staff were helpful and informative, the vehicle was clean and well presented.

Simple and easy experience, i highly recommend this company if you need to hire a van, thank you guys, 5 star from me 🙌

Used Swindon Car & Van rental for the first time to hire a van to move some items between houses. They were the only company I could find that gave flexible return times meaning I didn’t need to keep it overnight.

Price was very good for a large van, booking online and then the pick up was quick and the staff friendly. Handover was detailed and all documents sent to me for backup. I returned the van out of hours time and within a couple of hours got a checkout email confirming the van was received back.

Will definitely be using their services again should we need to hire again!

This is the second time of buying a van from Swindon Car and Can Hire: cannot recommend them highly enough. The vans are serviced and prepared to an exceptional standard and nothing is overlooked - if it needed doing, it gets done! Simon, Sales Manager, is so helpful and sorted everything out for us with no fuss or drama even when I couldn't find my driving licence! He goes above and beyond - even picking us up from the station. If you are looking for a new van - look no further!

Van hire was easy and good price. It was a bit smelly in the cab, but not too bad. £5 for rent of a hand truck saved our backs and was good value!
Apparently the van was returned 'untidy' - no idea how that can be as it was empty!

Excellent advice and help when I went to order the van and when I picked up the van the service was still excellent. The van was clean and tidy and a really good drive and good value for the week if you want to hire a good van from a excellent company this is the company to use.

Easy and efficient process. Collection was quick, plenty of staff and correct available vehicle. Hand over of keys was clear. All the staff were friendly!
