I was supported by Sam during my SPL application whilst on maternity leave. Her answers to my questions throughout the entire process were extremely clear and concise. She responded quickly and I felt no question was ever any trouble for her. She helped me understand the process of curtailing my maternity leave, how I could maximise my time and pay and how to better understand and explain the process to my SLT, who were unfamiliar with the concept of SPL. My whole experience of working with Teachers SPL is positive. With the advice and resources provided, Sam made me feel reassured and confident throughout the entire process. I couldn't have done it without them!
Also, if you're a teacher in doubt over taking SPL- do it! I was able to get 9 weeks holidays fully paid without returning to work. My only regret is not doing it during my first pregnancy 4 years ago! Thank you so much again Teachers SPL for all your help and support.

This service is fantastic!
It really put me at ease knowing they would take care of the paperwork and ensure you get the best outcome for your SPL.
No question was too small and I always recieved an email response within the day or day after.

I was really impressed with the service I received from Teacher's SPL! I had completed my forms myself and paid for the option to have them checked. I submitted them to SPL on a Friday late afternoon, received confirmation they were received Saturday morning and had feedback by Sunday morning! So efficient! I wasn't expecting a response so quickly! I was grateful to receive a suggested cover note when submitting my forms to school - they included points that I hadn't considered which was great. Having to complete any forms in the thick of maternity leave can be challenging so it has given me great piece of mind to have the team at Teacher's SPL check them over for me. Would highly recommend.

Teachers SPL have been incredibly helpful in supporting me through the minefield of SPL. There was a quick turnaround on paperwork and the advice was super helpful. Would definitely use again in the future and highly recommend to anyone looking for support with SPL.

My application was handled so quickly and professionally, Hannah made sure I was happy with all the dates and information before she sent me through the paperwork. They provide a great service for someone with an awkward employer however the calculations you can do yourself using chat GTP and they are more accurate as they will estimate your take home after tax. I was a bit dissapointed with the information on the website and the estimate I got for pay. For me it was a poitless service. I also only got one viable option because of when my baby is due, so again...a bit pointless.

TSPL were brilliant. Alexandra gave me advice when it was needed and made the whole process super simple. They were quick and efficient given that I was late applying and only had 10 days to get my first block in. I would highly recommend. My £70 investment means I am getting thousands back in extra pay during my maternity leave. Because of how the holidays land it also means I will only have three weeks of unpaid leave my whole year off. Incredible. Thanks so much.

The service was easy to access, staff were friendly and approachable. This service has helped me with my maternity in making the year affordable with no stress. He forms were simple and the breakdown was clear. I would recommend to anyone would is planning on taking maternity.

Everyone at Teacher’s SPL were really helpful and supportive providing advice on not just the process but also on approaching conversations with HR. Responses were always quick and everyone I spoke to was always really knowledgeable about the processes. Having looked at the paperwork myself and finding it complicated and overwhelming Teacher’s SPL took the stress out of the process and I saw the small fee as an investment in my maternity leave with what I have now gained financially.
