I recently had my bathroom renovated by Templar , and I couldn't be happier with the results. They were punctual, courteous, and kept the workspace clean throughout the project. The quality of their workmanship is outstanding, and they completed the job within the agreed timeframe and budget. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for reliable and skilled bathroom builders. Thank you so much Nick and Peter you have been true diamonds in this renovation process!!

If I could give no stars for this company, I would. We had our kitchen installed by Templar in autumn 2022 - we have been struggling ever since to get some fundamental remedial work completed.

To summarise the issues: the cabinets did not line up, the infills weren’t even and they were starting to come away from their fixings as the screw used had broken through the back of the chipboard. Grey brick dust continually rained down onto the hob from where the extractor had been fitted no matter how many times this was wiped up and we could see light coming from the inside of the cupboard in places we realised were large gaps and holes.
Gas and plumbing pipework is unsupported, the sink is not properly plumbed in, the lower cabinets are not supported properly on their footings, the floor was not levelled and the battening which should have been provided to support the stone worktop was not done. In fact, our worktop must be removed to remedy these faults - at great expense.

On top of all of this, the lack of respect shown for our home during the install was such that even though I had a 3 month old baby at the time, the installer did not clean dust or rubbish from the kitchen at all during install and instead used the floor as a bin for his rubbish and simply installed the kitchen on top. The plasterers also allowed plaster to drip onto gas pipes which can corrode them over time, and must be addressed.

The overall standard of work is low, which has an unacceptable effect on the function and aesthetic which are integral to the product and service we asked Templar to provide.

We have tried to deal with Templar reasonably and patiently but they have continually delayed and ignored our correspondence or answered selectively.

After two years of trying resolve these matters, this year we had a survey of the work carried out by Templar's own trade association which unequivocally outlined the issues and remedial work required. Since sharing this with Peter, we have yet to receive any response as to how he will address it. We have tried emailing and calling but he hangs up the phone.

I deeply regret having engaged them to carry out the initial installation, they have caused my family extreme suffering and we are devastated. Avoid at all costs.

Nick and Peter provided a great service, they were responsive, willing and prompt. The floor tiling project progressed quickly and efficiently, with superb workmanship from the tiling team. Top-notch service and workmanship.

I needed a team to install my new kitchen on short notice, and Peter and Nick went above and beyond to accommodate my tight timeline. They even coordinated directly with the kitchen designer to ensure everything went smoothly.

On delivery day, Leonard,the team leader—was there to assist, and he and his crew were outstanding throughout the process. They kept the workspace clean at the end of each day and impressively finished the installation ahead of schedule.

The kitchen looks fantastic, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I would recommend them to anyone needing a new kitchen installation.

The team were very helpful and supportive throughout our kitchen installation. The fitters were approachable, tidy and reliable. We would recommend them to others and have them return for future works. Very happy with our new kitchen!

We wished to remove our bath and install a shower tray etc. and were provided with Templar’s name by Mountain Warehouse as a ‘transparent and reliable firm’ which they definitely turned out to be.
Peter, the surveyor, listened to our requirements and took measurements then handed over to his back room team, Nick, who held our hand during the installation which was carried out by their experienced fitter, Pavel.

We are very happy with our new shower and would certainly recommend Templar as a professional and caring team (indeed we are looking at revamping our kitchen now which they can also carry out!)

We are very happy with the work the Templar Installation team did to install a new family bathroom for us. We had quite tight timescales with the work needing to be completed before the arrival of some visitors. They were very proactive in quoting and scheduling the work to ensure we would have plenty of time to complete the work, including contingency if there were surprise challenges.

Leading up to the installation the team was very professional in guiding us through the process, clearly communicating with us and managing expectations about what was in and out of scope. They were also very patient with us when we were unsure about some of the design aspects and hadn’t quite confirmed some details leading up to the installation. Rather than getting frustrated they calmly coached us through options and provided helpful recommendations.

As part of the renovation we wanted to upgrade our boiler system, including moving our hot water tank from the cupboard in the bathroom to the garage to create more storage space. Templar Installations referred us to a relevant tradesperson to do the work for us in advance of the renovation to ensure there were no impacts on the bathroom finishings. The tradesperson they recommended was very responsive in quoting our project, considerate and efficient in completing the work.

During the work the Templar installation team was very respectful in our home and always asked for clear instruction about the design/our preferences if there was anything they were unsure about. At the end of the process there was one small 2-inch stretch of grout they had missed filling on the tiles. We let them know when making the final payment (more out of courtesy for their knowledge with the intention of filling it ourselves) but they came back the very next day to patch it up. The managing office checked in during and after the installation was complete to ensure everything was going smoothly and we were happy with the project results.

Overall, the Templar Installation team was courteous, easy to work with, installed the bathroom very quickly with time to spare on a tight timeline and we are very happy with our new family bathroom.

I cannot recommend Templar Installations enough! From start to finish, my bathroom remodel was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. After sourcing them from MyBuilder and receiving quotes from four different traders, it was clear that Peter and his team were the right choice.

From the very first visit, Peter truly listened to all my requests, providing a detailed work plan and a fantastic price. Nick was also amazing—his communication throughout the project was seamless, keeping me informed every step of the way. The builders themselves were incredibly hardworking, showing up Monday through Saturday with an exceptional work ethic.

One thing that really impressed me was their attention to detail—not just in the quality of the work but also in how they maintained the space. Every single day, they cleaned up before leaving, which meant I didn’t feel like I was living in a construction zone. Even when I unexpectedly ran out of tiles, they were patient and accommodating while I waited for the new ones to arrive.

No project is without its challenges, and if I had one small suggestion, it would be for even stronger internal communication so that clients don’t have to repeat requests. That said, this was a minor issue in what was an otherwise outstanding experience.

One of my best experiences ever with builders. They were accurate, precise, understanding and, most importantly, did the job well! They respected our property throughout the renovation period - having protective film on the floor and clean the dust as much as they could every day before they leave. 5/5 definitely would recommend!

We have just had a new bathroom installed by Templar Installations recommended by Homebase Sevenoaks. Richard Maloney of Homebase Sevenoaks have worked together for several years and liaise throughout the process
After planning and purchasing the bathroom fromHomebase Sevenoaks, Templar took over and we were visited by Peter who listened and discussed our needs and then completed a thorough survey of the existing bathroom and the loft and boiler, plumbing, electrics etc
He then liased with Richard and Nick liased with me throughout the process
Prior to the install I had an hours booked phonecall with Nick who went through absolutely everything. He even recommended removing any mirror or pictures from the property walls in case of damage as the team lifted baths etc in and out of the property.
This conversation was so thorough it gave me such confidence in Templar Installations
And then Elvis and his team arrived! My goodness what a team! So professional and so hard working. They arrived on time each morning even though they travelled from north London to Kent each day. A 15 minute break for lunch and then back to work!!
The job which included removal of entire bathroom and tiles and removal of small stud wall and then tiling throughout and inserting new shower and bathroom suite, electric works, tiling entire room skimming ceiling new lights and radiators was completed in seven days!!!

My name is Suzanne Kirkaldy. I found. Peter and Nick where very helpful. They kept us informed all the time about our insulation guy and when he was going to start Steve started the job in July and and finished the job three weeks later and did a very good job. We are very happy with our new bathroom. We even asked him if he had time to sort out our downstairs toilet, which he put on the end of His job and we are very happy with both the bathroom and the downstairs toilet I would recommend Peter and Nick and Steve to anybody who wanted anything done in their properties

I brought a bathroom suite from Homebase and had Templar Installations fit it all for me. Peter took the plans and made sure it all worked in my space and Nick dealt with the planning side, and I soon had a very detailed breakdown of work and costings. Our installer -Pavel was excellent - hard working and so tidy. He offered suggestions on how to improve the design and what would work from his experience. It seemed that Pavel took the work as a personal reflection on himself as a craftsman. I would definitely recommend and have the team back again.

Peter, Nick and their team completed work today on my kitchen installation. I’d have given five stars but there was a slight delay with finishing off some small things. However, overall I’m really pleased with the outcome - it all looks fabulous. As a single woman, working with tradespeople can be a challenging experience but I was able to put my trust in Peter and would use this company again. Also, as an aside, if you are sent a workman called Leonard, he’s an absolute legend and works extremely hard so be nice!
