We had 15 solar panels installed, the team have been great from start to finish, clearly explaining what would happen and provided a good service.its nice to know we can contact them in the future too if we have any queries.

We had 15 panels and 2 batteries installed by The Energy Experts. They were the last of four companies I requested quotes from, but after my call with Dave I had effectively already decided to go ahead with them. Dave was very professional and straightforward, which felt refreshing compared to what you often get elsewhere.

Unlike the other three companies I quoted, The Energy Experts carry out the installation themselves; the others all used subcontractors. That mattered a lot to me. There’s little point checking reviews of an installer if the actual work is done by someone else whose track record you don’t know.

Pricing was competitive. Their quote was only slightly higher, and given that I am a long way from their usual area (around six hours’ drive), the slight extra cost was very reasonable. I was expecting it to be much more. I was surprised they were willing to offer the service at all at that distance.

We did hit a few snags along the way, but they were resolved quickly. There were some delays getting things started, mostly due to slow responses from the DNO, the holiday period, and the difficult weather conditions in early 2026. Once things got under way, however, the process ran smoothly and the system worked from day one.

I was promised a five-star service, and I can confirm that is what I received. The installation team was careful with the property and worked hard, and they were pleasant to talk to during breaks.

The initial meeting was excellent with very good presentation of facts and figures and full explanation. Installation hit a couple of snags which were diligently dealt with. Finished product of eleven panels and battery are excellent.

I was really pleased with the whole process. I sat through 3 different solar presentations and found Marion of The Energy Experts to be the most helpful in answering specific questions that I had. The install team was great and I can only say positive things about this company, and they were also the cheapest quote I received! Would highly recommend.

Dave and his team have been excellent since the first moment we chatted about my options and I am sure that they will offer ongoing support. They are indeed experts and everything that they have said they would do, they have done.

I could not be happier with the results, the only issue is how many of my friends are bored of me telling them about my daily averages and battery levels!

We did have a few issues with the process, but that’s understandable with the expanding business.

As it's over a year since The Energy Experts installed our solar panels, inverter and battery, I can review their advice as well as their workmanship. Advice on number of panels and choice of battery (GivEnergy) has proven to be excellent - in the first full year we exported more electricity than we used, and our first-year bill savings are very close to the estimate in the original proposal. Also, because we have a GivEnergy battery we have benefitted from the GivBack scheme, which allows remote control of the battery to sell energy back to the grid when demand is high. Installation was mostly smooth and communication mostly excellent. When they delivered the materials they dented the door of the fridge-freezer in our garage, but they organised and paid for a replacement with no argument. There were some teething problems with the programming of the inverter, which gave us some initial anxiety, but those were all sorted out in reasonable time. They handled all the paperwork to allow us to sell energy back to the grid promptly. All members of the team were friendly and polite, so that it was a pleasure to deal with them.

Earlier in the year we decided to get solar panels. Not sure of what system to go for, I got a number of quotes. I found many installers just wanted to sell me what was most convenient for them. But when I spoke with David at Energy Expert he was very good. He listened and explained things very well. There was no sales pitch and he genuinely wanted to give me the system that would work best for my situation.( in my case solar panels and batteries) We decided to go with The Energy Experts and I believe it was a very good decision. Had a small issue on the day which was sorted out immediately. No problems since and we're very pleased with the service and products that we received.

We had 12 solar panels installed integrated with our new roof, the communication from day 1 has been brilliant. Ian our installer was first class, his neatness and attention to detail was incredible and worth every penny. We are already seeing the benefits even though its October!

We initially contacted the Energy Experts at the end of March to enquire about different solar panels and battery storage systems.
An online video call was arranged which was easy to access- particularly if you are not familiar with this form of communication. I certainly found it far better than just filling out forms and submitting them: David who I initially spoke to was very knowledgeable and was able to suggest a wide range of different options, without being pushy.
At the end of the conversation I had a good idea of which system would suit us best and felt very comfortable dealing with this firm that I arranged a follow up meeting which gave us time to consider the proposal.
When we next spoke with Martin the operations and installation manager, which we found very useful as we could discuss concerns and queries that we had over the different types and positioning of batteries. At the end of the second meting we were very happy with the proposed installation, equipment, price and the firms credentials/accreditation, as well as the insurance backed guarantees.
After we reviewed the proposal we proceeded with the installation.
Martin and the team did an excellent job and we now have a system that has been working extremely well since May.
The technology of these panels and storage equipment has progressed tremendously over the past few years giving a far greater power output than the earlier systems especially without the need for direct sunlight.
The only concern we initially had was that this firm head office is based in the North east- we are inNottingham; however that was certainly not a problem and we are extremely happy with the installation and future back up.
We recommend this firm to one of our neighbours as they know how vigilant we are. They were also very impressed with Martin and the team and have commissioned a system.
Their system was installed in August and they are extremely happy with the customer service, quality of installation and equipment.
So overall on both occasions this has proved to be a very good firm that we both highly recommend.

After many weeks of research, I decided upon The Energy Experts to install my Solar Panel & Battery System.
Having retired from the electricity generation industry, I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted.
Not only did they listen, but they made suggestions & additions to give me what I consider a very good overall package, they even liaised with Northern Power Grid on my behalf to get me the best connection possible to my local grid system.
Using no pushy sales pitch, any question or concerns were answered promptly in a clear & easily understood manner.
The installation was prompt & efficient, the actual system being built, commissioned & operational in a single day.
Overall I would highly recommend The Energy Experts to anyone thinking about solar panel systems.

Having taking the decision the install Solar Panels, The Energy Experts arrived!. In short the customer experience and service was and continues to be OUTSTANDING! If you require a simple no holds barred installation then this company is a MUST. The installation was completed by what I can only describe as Master Craftsman and his Team and I was involved in the process the whole way through. I cannot praise this company high enough (and no I am not related in any way shape form). I have already recommended them to two other friends and I would urge anyone reading this to give them a call. You will not regret it!!

I had my pv and battery system installed by The Energy Experts last winter. They took the time to properly understand my home and what I was hoping to achieve, proposed a range of options, then managed the installation. Once installed, they helped me get the most out of my system. It's been great.

Our son decided to have solar panels installed together with battery storage. Having checked out various suppliers he decided to go with The Energy Experts. I was so impressed with them keeping him up to date, installation was very quickly carried out. I was equally impressed by the equipment (foxess) and the way it was installed. On this basis I decided to install a similar system and from the date of order I was kept fully informed and the installation was within a week. After installation I was contacted several times to check everything was ok.
14 months on everything working well and saving a considerable amount of money and running the EV for almost nothing.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Started with a thorough consultation where they determined the most suitable product (not just the most expensive). End to end service and a great saving off the back if it. Definitely recommend!

Just finished today fitting solar panels guys performed above expectations all completed in one day. Scaffolding up in record time up ready for installation. Final walk through the system complete, only paperwork to complete . System working and saving money great job guys well done.
