not a Good App
Cannot understand why my car insurance would not show in my AA app that shows my breakdown cover. Was told i had to register with another email. App needs changing

Hi Hayley, we can see your Breakdown cover is provided through your bank. As it's not directly with the AA, it can't be linked to your other cover, so you'll need separate online accounts for each.

Opting in rather than opting out.
Prefer to speak to a ‘live’ agent to confirm full understanding of policy at all times - do not like having to opt out of the automatic renewal rather than opting in.

Greatest support ever.
I had a very good experience when someone hit my car, the support, the way things are organised to make life easier is fantastic. In addition to my car insurance, I took out a home insurance with them as well. They are not cheap but I am getting value for money and happy knowing they got my back

Having joined and been sent the Documents and Certificate I cannot open them as it asks for a password that I have not been sent.

Hi Guy, the password to open your docs is your date of birth followed by the postcode where the car is kept.
For example, if you were born on 1st July 1982 and your postcode is RG21 4EA, your password would be 01071982rg214ae.
This info was included alongside the document link 😊.

Straightforward process, easy to follow and achieve required cover. Price was competitive, though it did increase from that shown on Go.Compare when moving to AA site but no explanation and repeated searches produced same difference!
