Great customer service
I was sitting inside my new car on the garage forecourt. The only downside was that it took over 30 minutes for my call to the AA to be answered. However, can I say that the service I received from the customer service representative was excellent. He dealt with me in a very friendly and professional manner, well done.

No hot water and no heating
The AA home insurance have currently left our house without hot water and no heating in the home with a 3 month old baby and 2 year old. The bathroom is hazardous with nails sticking out the floor and a sheer drop getting in and out the bath.

Good price offer
Good price offer, pick and mix add ons good but kept thinking when are they going to offer full breakdown cover, it came at the end and should be made much clearer and earlier as nearly gave up. Actual process smooth. Main pick was on price.

Using comparison websites AA Gold came out cheapest with the items I required covered and a reasonable excess.
Obviously not tested the claim process, and hope I don't need to.

Dreadful and careless
Daughter's windscreen needed replacement after it was damaged by youngsters hitting it with a catapult. AA's own windscreen service wasn't suitable , after a lengthy wait they agreed to an alternative repairer which was fine, they also waived the additional excess and compensated her for the dreadful service she'd received. Her renewal documents have been sent- they've reduced her NCD by 3 years and miscategorised the claim from a windscreen claim to "Driver hitting a third party"- quite a difference.
