The worst possible claim experience. Did you know if a tree falls on your car in a car park and you are with AA car insurance it's up to you to arrange for someone to get the tree off before they will even start the claim? Their only advice was "maybe ring the local fire brigade and ask them?" Did you know their claims staff only work office hours so have an accident in the evening just before a bank holiday weekend and you are on your own for days? Once you've got the tree off the car and started the claim you are told there's no chance of a courtesy car until the car has been collected and inspected, oh and the company they use to collect and inspect can't collect for another week (and according to online reviews typically take a long time to inspect) so after paying for a tree surgeon I also have to pay for my own rental car. Did you know that they LOVE to work across platforms. Start the claim on their website, part way through you have to move to AI, then they have to switch to telephone (but without warning, they'll just call "tomorrow") and then switch the claim back to AI, then over to whatsapp where they hand you over to the collection company who start by using SMS then transfer you to another website to enter all the info you've already provided and they then confirm this via email. They also get a bit mixed up and start sending you someone else's claim details in amongst your own. Did you know that their claims staff can provide literally no help, comfort or guidance and are clearly told to do everything they can to minimise or eliminate claims rather than actually help you like you would expect your own insurers to do?

I used the AA app to obtain quote and the process was very straightforward and the price quoted was very competitive. It was very easy to retrieve quote later in order to take out the policy.

No hidden expenses or costs that is professionallisim.

LV home insurance renewal dropped through letter box and was gobsmacked at what they were asking for, never claimed and not in rough area.
Tried a quote from the AA for exactly the same home and contents cover and snapped their hands off when came back with less than half the cost. Seems the breakdown cover I’ve had for 30 yrs and used had other discount benefits.

The price seems good for the level of insurance I have got the website was fairly easy to use

I am not very good on a computer and had to seek help by phone. Bit of a long wait but once through to someone they were very helpful indeed and the policy was set up. Would certainly recommend.

Very helpful guy on the telephone, very pleased with the service.

Easy to follow web page. Clear definitions of different sections of the policy and costs involved.
Easy to assess each level of car insurance side by side to see which one is best including cost of each one.

I found that getting a quote was relatively easy and the prices offered good value for money.
