Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience.

I booked and paid the advertised price for my flights to only get an email afterwards to say it was declined. I phoned their customer service team twice and on the second occasion they hung up on me. The customer service team on the phone have a terrible attitude and do not know how to respect customers. I then received an email to say the price has gone up and they wanted to charge me almost another $300 on top of what I already paid. I responded immediately and they didn't acknowledge my request at all. After a couple of emails back and forth, they have apparently issued a refund but I'm not convinced I will get my money back and I have been sent no document as proof that the refund has been issued.

Do not count on this company to receive friendly customer service.

I booked a flight to India with The Easy Trips and I mentioned the Name wrong due to autofill. I contacted them and Jahangeer was the man who helped me out to sort this with only minimal charges . He sorted the booking and send my ticket within an hour and I checked on Air India and it was all Ok . thanks to Jahnageer and Team Easy Trips for the prompt and easy Service

Beware – Misleading Pricing & Partial Ticket Scam!

I had a terrible experience booking through this company. I booked tickets for three passengers, paid the full amount upfront, and expected all tickets to be confirmed. However, only two tickets were confirmed, and the third was placed on hold, with a demand for an extra £367.98 to confirm the final ticket due to a “fare difference.”

This was never made clear at the time of booking. I was not the one who canceled or changed anything—this situation happened entirely from their side. When I asked for a refund, they tried to deduct £60 as a “refund processing fee” for the two partially confirmed passengers. This is completely unacceptable since they failed to deliver the service I paid for in full.

I have since raised a dispute with my bank to recover the full amount. Thankfully, I’ve now booked the same flight at the originally advertised price elsewhere with no issue.

This is clearly a scam tactic—they lure customers in with low prices, confirm partial bookings, then demand extra money or charge fees to cancel. Be very careful before trusting this agency.

To clarify, we did not confirm all three tickets at the quoted fare because airline prices changed in real-time, which is entirely outside of our control—a fact well understood in the travel industry. We clearly communicated this to you at every step.

We also find it highly unethical that, as a travel agent yourself, you have misled your own clients about the situation and ticket prices, only to then publicly accuse us of fraudulent practices. Your actions are not just dishonest—they are defamatory.

We take such false accusations very seriously and reserve the right to pursue appropriate legal action and report this incident to the relevant authorities and industry bodies.

We strongly advise that you remove or correct your review to reflect the truth, rather than spreading misinformation.

When you phone him on 0209 145 0044 a different firm answers the phone by the name the house travel ... Don't use the Theeasytrips.com. Danny Williams will con you, like he does, see review lilon chowdhury. Keep clear reported to fraud

Such a bad experience with this company..

I have bought airline tickets online and from travel agencies countless times in the past 35 years, but I have never had the bitter experience of buying tickets from this company. I bought two tickets at the price quoted online. A day later they told me that my booking was not confirmed.Why not? Unbelievably they charged me an additional £178. I refused to pay and asked for my money back ASAP...took more than 11days to return back to my account😡..Surprisingly they deducted £60(30×2)as a cancellation fee. I have no idea why they did this.They did this because I refused to pay the extra money they demanded after I bought the ticket at their fixed price.It seems to me that this is their main business. Selling tickets online to people at the wrong price and later demanding a lot more money. If the customer refuses to pay for obvious reasons, they keep that money in their account for a long time and use it.And then they refund the money by deducting £30 for each ticket. I think this is done very intentionally. This is fraud. I urge everyone to be careful before buying tickets from them at online prices.I am extremely angry because of their fraudulent behavior. I have decided to file a proper complaint against them with the Aviation Authority. Because we must speak out against such deliberate online fraud.This institution must be blacklisted.

Price change post booking confirmation

UPDATE: The firm has now issued a full refund (Thankyou TrustPilot!). Therefore, I'm updating my experience rating from 1 to 3. I'd encourage vendor to review their algorithm to keep it sync with prevailing prices and fellow members to call the business and double check the price before online booking. Booked flight tickets via TheEasyTrips.com with booking confirmed message on site. However, received an email 5 minutes later with booking declined message citing taxes and charges have now increased by £120 per person, if I wish to go ahead with the 4 pax booking!!

When I replied to not proceed with the booking demanded full refund to my card, the company replies saying 2 of the 4 pax already confirmed and if I don't pay the ransom money of £478 I will be charged £240 cancellation charges. Crap!

My order was for 4 tickets at a price and if they can't fulfill it they must refund full amount back! Now reading through other posters here, looks like many have experienced similar change in prices with them.

I booked through them only for the price advantage and if they can't issue all tickets at advertised price then they have no right to charge anything. Fares can't fluctuate 20% within 5 minutes in the name of dynamic pricing.

The experience was very unpleasant

The experience was very unpleasant. The company declined my booking and charged payment from my credit card but later emailed me about a price revision from the airline and asked me for pay additional amount. As the revised price was unacceptable. I had no viable options to proceed.

Despite this, they are charging a hefty processing fee to refund my payment, which feels unfair given the issue was not my fault.they charged me £30 service charges for nothing so be careful before you lose your money

At The Easy Trips, we act as an intermediary between our customers and airline suppliers. When you placed your booking, the fare displayed was correct at that moment. However, by the time we attempted to confirm the reservation with the airline, there was an unforeseen fare and tax surge, which is unfortunately beyond our control. As per standard procedure, we immediately informed you of the change before proceeding—no ticket was issued, and no booking was confirmed without your consent.

When you chose not to proceed with the revised fare, we began processing your refund. The £30 service charge (or refund handling fee) that was applied is not a fee imposed by The Easy Trips, but rather a standard processing fee charged by the airline’s supplier to manage administrative, transaction, and cancellation costs. This is an industry-wide practice and is applicable to all such refund requests, regardless of the reason for cancellation. We do not benefit from this charge, and it is strictly passed on as part of the supplier’s terms and conditions.

We strive to be transparent in all our communication and work hard to ensure each customer has a seamless booking experience. We truly regret that this case was impacted by factors outside our control and assure you that we handled it with full professionalism and as promptly as possible.
