Great experience!
I had a great time! I learned a lot at my internship and met incredible people too. They organized fun events and I am thankful for this experience!

My experience traveling to Bangkok for my first solo excursion abroad was incredibly fulfilling and comfortable. I was fortunate to be placed in a job where my skills were relevant and well-utilized. The accommodations provided were excellent, and I appreciated the funded excursions organized by TIG.

While my overall experience was positive, there are areas where the organization could improve. It seems the company is somewhat understaffed, which may impact its ability to fully support the number of interns it manages. During the placement process, I narrowly secured an internship that aligned with my career interests within the available time frame. The initial job opportunities presented to me did not align well with my professional goals, and the placement process felt a bit rushed.

That said, I understand the challenges the organization faces, particularly with coordinating across multiple time zones and working within tight schedules. Despite these difficulties, once I arrived on-site, the program did an excellent job ensuring I felt comfortable and supported in adapting to a new country.

In conclusion, while there are some challenges in the placement process, the on-site experience is highly rewarding, and I appreciate the efforts made by TIG to facilitate a positive and enriching internship experience.

There’s so much I could go on about for this experience! All over wonderful, but the best part were the people who guided me (Peach and Cara!) and the friends and connections made along the way! I did the Digital Nomad program and was able to travel and work in architecture at the same time. Having London as my home base was amazing and I want to thank Peach and Cara for being so amazing and welcoming too!

This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to intern at Bexpat-Spain through The Intern Group in Madrid. It was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all my expectations and left a lasting impression on both my personal and professional life.

One of the highlights of this internship was the cultural immersion. Living and working in Madrid allowed me to experience Spanish culture firsthand. I enjoyed participating in local traditions, exploring the vibrant city, and savoring the delicious cuisine. These experiences enriched my understanding of the local culture and made my stay truly enjoyable.

Additionally, the connections I made with locals, my team, and fellow interns were amazing. Working alongside a diverse group of people and interns from around the world broadened my perspective and helped improve my cross-cultural communication skills. The friendships and professional relationships I formed will be long lasting.

Overall, my time at Bexpat-Spain was a great experience. Thank you, Bexpat-Spain, for this amazing opportunity!

The experience itself was amazing - Madrid is an incredible city, especially for younger people.

First and foremost, the team at TIG is splendid. Extremely kind and supportive. As an intern, I felt like I barely took care of any logistics, as everything was taken care of for me, and any issues that I faced I was supported throughout. Big thank you to Lalita for all her help while I was here, when I needed anything. And also a big thank you to Nikte, event coordinator, who planned fun and unique events and was also there to listen if we needed any help. Truly enjoyed meeting both of them!

Transport system is great and extremely cheap compared to other cities (8 euros for a month of bus/metro pass). So much culture, art, food, dance, etc. In a city like this you really have to immerse yourself to live the best experience. So if you are someone that loves culture and exploring, you will love Madrid. Everything is so close if you live in the center, max 15 minute walk to almost everything.

Only feedback I would give to future interns is actually just a disclaimer - the summer here is very hot (but manageable, as it is dry warmth), and travelling outside of Madrid is at its peak in terms of how expensive it gets to travel in Europe!

Again, I would highly recommend and will look back at this experience with a sense of gratitude, not only for the professional skills and insights I gained but also for the amazing time I had in Madrid, meeting great people, learning new things, and growing personally.

I loved my cross-cultural experience in London via the Intern Group. From the very beginning, they were proactive with information and had a very quick response time. Their continued emails helped me easily apply for my visa and become accustomed to the new environment.

Most importantly the Intern Group team, specifically Peach and Cara, were great at getting myself and others out of our comfort zones to network and building long-lasting relationships. They were always so engaging whenever I would attend the group meet-ups.

I rate my experience with the Intern Group a 10/10!!!

The Intern Group provided a lot events that were fun, enjoyable and made my time in London worthwhile. The events organized around London were catered to make interns feel comfortable and provided a friendly atmosphere to talk to other interns.

Intern Group provided an exceptional opportunity to have an intern program. I got experience engaging with patients, especially those with dementia, in a residential home. The hands-on experience was invaluable, and the support from the team was excellent. The training was top-notch, preparing me thoroughly for real-world interactions. This internship exceeded my expectations, offering both theoretical knowledge and practical application. I highly recommend Intern Group for anyone seeking their first internship abroad. My experience with TIG was everything I could have hoped for. They offered great support and tips throughout the interview process and I was placed with an incredible company. My particular program was in Dublin, and the TIG Experience Coordinators were so friendly and welcoming. They regularly checked in with me to make sure everything was going well, and they were always available to answer questions or concerns. They had great suggestions for things to do in and around Dublin, and they even gave us a heads-up is there was something going on in the city (strike, issue with public transit systems, major weather concerns) that they thought we should be aware of. It was comforting to know that TIG was so organized, and it gave me the freedom to fully embrace the experience and focus on learning as much as I could.

I really enjoyed this experience and was glad to have done it with this group. I just feel as though, with the amount of money we paid, I wish we could have done a few more group activities.

I did an internship in London with Theatre Peckham and absolutely LOVED IT. My supervisor was amazing and I learned so much about theatre management and tech. The London team, Peach and Thomas, were super helpful and willing to answer any questions I had. Overall, great experience and I'd recommend it to everyone:)

Peach and Cara were absolutely delightful. They were very helpful during my experience and helped address concerns I had while being very productive professional and polite. The whole team are very experienced and knowledgeable regarding the the city.

Had a good time being in Medellin for an internship in The Intern Group, I've been in Colombia but it was my first time in Medellin. It was really good meeting and connecting with the other interns. They even gave me the time to see my family in Colombia by allowing me to end my internship early.

I did the internship for two months in Dublin and it was definitely worth while. What made the internship was the people I went with and I have made actual friends with. Our guides/mentors for the internship definitely help us with every problem we had and also helped us social and brake the ice when we first arrived.

The organization leaders (Tom, Peach, and Cara) were amazing. They made my stay in London safe and made me feel at home!

My internship with the Interngroup fully met and exceeded my expectations. From the beginning during the placement process, to the constant support during the experience, to the follow-up after it all, the whole team made me feel constantly cared for. Big shoutout to Rachel and Lauren, always available and among the nicest people I've ever met!

I was in Dublin, it was amazing. I had my best experience of my life. I recommend having an experience like that.

I am doing a 10 week internship in Hong Kong and everything has been amazing so far! from the visa assistance, to the activities with other interns, I can really recommend it for anybody thinking about doing an internship abroad.
