The watch was faulty, I was told to return the item to their Europe warehouse to qualify for a full refund. I ended up traveling and sending the item as a return with the label to their “Italian facility”.
They no longer responded.
This is a scam company.

I can’t even give this a 1 star to be honest. It’s clear from other reviews that many people have experienced the same issue as me. I have now been waiting for 4 months for a refund from something they received back in August. Every time I email they say it will be processed, making false promises that my refund is being sorted and sent to people higher up to be actioned. Then I wait another 10 days and still nothing. Poor quality product not even wearable!! And now I’m £150 out of pocket. Absolute scam, disgusting company. Don’t buy from them you’ll be very disappointed and end up like the rest of us trying to get a refund.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointing Poor Quality and Even Worse Customer Service
I purchased a product from The Mod Project on 21 September 2025, and from the very start, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing.
I received confirmation the same day and an email on 25 September saying the item had shipped. It arrived on 30 September 2025, but unfortunately, the item was damaged straight out of the box. I contacted customer service immediately and was told that a replacement watch case would be arranged due to the poor quality of the first one.
Since then, it’s been nothing but broken promises and endless back-and-forth emails. I was told several times that my case had been “escalated to senior management,” but clearly, senior management either doesn’t care or doesn’t exist. I’ve had at least five separate emails claiming that my issue was being prioritised yet nothing was ever actually done.
The product was refunded on 9 October 2025, but I never received the replacement I was promised, nor any response to my request for compensation. Instead, I just kept receiving long, polite emails full of apologies but with no real action.
On 21 October 2025, I followed up again after being told I’d receive a final update within 24–48 hours it’s now been six days, and still no response. That says everything about how they treat customers once they have your money.
In my opinion, The Mod Project over-promises and under-delivers. The communication is slow, the service is poor, and the company does not take accountability for its mistakes. They seem more focused on appearing helpful than actually solving problems.
I feel ignored, disappointed, and frustrated. Based on this experience, I would not recommend buying from The Mod Project. If anything goes wrong with your order, don’t expect it to be resolved quickly or at all.
Think twice before you buy.

Poor quality watch straps…
Chinese quality watch straps marked up with Parisian prices. Most likely a drop shipping scam. The quality is so deficient, I will not wear it. Between the cheap spring pins, the thin rubber strap and the light-gauge clasp, I don't want to risk losing my watch. They also sell "premium" watch faces for $19 that you can get for free on the Clockology widget extension. I risked it to see what came and it was vey disappointing when I received the item today.

Happy with my purchase of the AP Mod Case and strap…
I purchased the AP Mod Case and strap in the stainless steel color. It has definitely enhanced the look of my apple watch. I have had a number of colleagues comment on the watch, thinking that i had splurged on a new timepiece. One colleague who loves watches recognized it is an AP and thought AP had come out with a digital watch. I don't wear it all the time but when i do, it feels great. I give it 5 stars. If i were to be very critical, i find it too bulky for wearing when i go for a jog, requiring me to put a different band on. It doesn't fit easily under some of my tailored dress shirts with tight cuffs. And, it does not sit as well on the charger when the case is on so i usually need to take it out of the case to charge.

A USPS shipping label was created in Los Angeles, CA. This gave the impression that the item was shipping domestically.

Five days later, the tracking updated showing the item was picked up — but still hadn’t been accepted by USPS.
🚛 July 23–25 – Movement Within Los Angeles
The package seemed to move between different facilities in Los Angeles. I assumed this confirmed a domestic shipment.

Email 1 – Misleading USPS Claim
After inquiring, I was told the package was “moving through the USPS system.” This was not true — tracking still showed “On Its Way to USPS”, meaning USPS had not received the package at all.
Email 2 – Partial Truths Revealed
Only after pointing out the tracking inconsistencies did customer service admit the product was coming from Hong Kong, with a stop at a warehouse in Jamaica, NY. This was never disclosed upfront or on the website.
Email 3 – “Goodwill” Offer
After escalating the issue, I was offered a $25 refund — supposedly to compensate for the shipping inconvenience. This was insulting, considering the issue was never about shipping but about deceptive communication and a misleading fulfillment process.
Email 4 – Policy Contradictions
After I declined the $25 offer and requested a full refund, I was told:
• They would not provide a prepaid return label
• I’d have to ship the product to Europe at my own expense
• Or I could accept a 51% refund without returning the product

That’s a 23x inflated price increase because they fraudulently state they are in April when they are working from China.
The AP Metal Apple Watch Ultra case in their advertising it comes in a posh wooden box just like the original ap watches and the band looks great but what is sent to you is a cheap tin and plastic watch casing with missing screws and the inner protective shield bumper we measured to be so flimsy it’s 0.5mm thick that’s going to protect nothing, now this watch case is sold for £219 that same cheap tin watch are and strap is ranging from $22-$33 on the store they drop ship from which is a markup of 1028%
That’s over 10x the cost — seller’s playing the luxury illusion game hard.
