Cancelled without telling us, no refund so having to claim via credit card

Company has gone busy with no notifications

The parent company went into receivership and the event was cancelled along with all other future events. I know it’s not their fault, but this was a birthday present.

Company went bust.

I paid for 2 tickets in June for my daughter's 30th birthday for the event in Birmingham on 19 October. When I went on to the website to check where the venue was the company had gone into insolvency. A couple of weeks after paying for the tickets I came across loads of negative reviews. I emailed them to say I was worried etc but never got a response. I'm now going through my bank using the Section 75. This company keeps scamming people and then setting up with completely different names. They need to be stopped!! I contacted my bank today (Monzo) and within 2 hours my £140 was back in my account. Monzo have said they've tried contacting the company but it will be March before I hear anything else.

Checked my tickets tonight for the Nottingham event dated 30th November (just to confirm we had the right dates). Went to google the location to see on the post mortem website that they have gone into insolvency and all shows have been cancelled… no notice, no email absolutely disgusting

Bought tickets for January 2025, logged in to see about buying extras and was astounded to find a statement saying company ceased trading on 30th September. No email from the company advising people of this, disgusting service that we have to find this out ourselves. If I hadn't of logged in it would be on the day of the show that i would of found out!!! Despite taking £200 off us they are claiming we have to get a section 75 from the bank to get it back! You took our money, didn't provide any service so the money hasn't paid your staff etc for the day so why can you not pay it back!! Absolute criminals I am disgusted beyond belief by this company and the low standard they upheld

Beware of the directors setting up any new phoenix company, I would not trust them. We arrived in Birmingham last night after spending almost £400 on tickets for The Post Mortem Live and only found out once there that the company had gone bust. No idea this had happened as the company was still trying to upsell me extra packages and car parking until very recently. Even if we do manage to get a refund through our bank, no one is going to refund us our hotel costs or travelling expenses.

To rub salt into my wounds, I had an automated email from them last night hoping I had enjoyed the event and trying to sell me tickets to some of their other events.

A lot of the people who booked tickets were students, they cannot afford to be out of pocket.

I’ll be keeping a close eye on Companies House as I have no doubt that the directors will start up again.

Using the covid 19 pandemic as an excuse in 2024 is a very poor excuse. Bad leadership and poor management, as well as lacking in any morals.

This show does NOT EXIST!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! You cannot get your money back!! Save yourself the hassle!

Been scammed! Paid £155 for 3 tickets and £40 for the pack! To check the website today to find they have gone into insolvency with no contact details! Unsure if my bank can refund me. Event should have been 20/10/24 in Birmingham

Do NOT buy anything associated with Sam Piri who runs all these events including Murder Trail Live. Hundreds of people out of pocket when events are cancelled and they go into insolvency. Only to setup under a different name. I’ve received a temporary refund from my bank but many of us haven’t. Don’t be fooled by him and his companies. Absolutely disgraceful.

Company has gone into administration on 30th September 2024 but we have had no communication from the event organiser regarding this I
only stumbled across the information on their website when looking for the venue as it was still TBC the website states:

In the mean time, all events including The Murder Trial Live, The Post Mortem Live and The Human Body Dissection due to take place have all been cancelled with immediate effect. Ticket holders should seek refund via their bank using Section 75 of the Consumer Rights Act or via Bank Chargeback.
We greatly value and appreciate all of our loyal customers over the years and we sincerely apologise for the abruptness of this announcement and the inconvenience it may cause. This is an incredibly difficult situation for everyone and your understanding and patience during this challenging time

Got an email for a ticket for 8th of March as I was ment be doing 28th of Sept. Never said anything about change of date and gave me £60 tickets when I paid oven £150 for each ticket. Then when I was trying to phone about the change in tickets they won't answer the phone.

Doesn’t even deserve a single star? We arrived to our event in Edinburgh like many others and stood outside in the cold waiting to be let in, a girl decided to check your website where it said you were insolvent and all events were cancelled?! No email or communication to say to us all about that? Also we had to seek our refunds ourselves? I’ve got my bank charge back via the bank which is nothing to with the company may I add but what is to be said about the money we spent on train tickets and taxis etc? Absolutely shocking.

Show cancelled and company in insolvency so wont get a group ticket of 10s money back. Reading reviews they have done this before in 2022 and traded again under a different name!!
They are still selling tickets for Liverpool aswell. DO NOT BUY

Seems like a scam to be honest. Took my money and wouldn’t provide event details. I emailed and WhatsApp several times for the details and still no response. I then demanded a refund and got one reply saying they weren’t going to give me one, disgusting company from a customer service perspective

This is just a scam to steal money.
DONT NOT GIVE THEM MONEY

They should be in jail, how much have they stolen from people over the last 5 years.
Hope they get what’s coming to them.

As all other genuine reviews, takes money,liquidates company four days before, show doesn't happen,forgets to communicate this to paid customers and takes money and runs.

Company goes by different names,be aware!!

Looks to have been same script since 2020.

STAY AWAY!

The event was cancelled, unfortunately because the person was ill. I have been trying to get a refund back as I do not want my ticket reissued for next year, but no one has got back to me. The ticket was expensive and I would just like a refund for the ticket. I also had to pay for parking in advance and I am looking separately into getting this refunded also
