Suzy Woods did a wonderful job restoring a leather jacket that had great sentimental value to my partner. She gave me an honest appraisal of what she could fix, the price was reasonable for the amount of work put in, and she was always available to answer questions. Received the jacket back looking brand new in a matter of days! Couldn't be happier!

I have had a wonderful experience with The Seam. The process was simple to use, and I was matched quickly to a maker for the service required and they were able to quote. I have had my Balmain bag hidden in its box in shame and sadness following it being flung to its demise during a car accident.
When I read about The Seam, I knew it was time to try and recover it.
Paola, my maker was polite and courteous throughout all communication and kept me fully updated. She has used her incredible craftsmanship and leather skills to repair the damaged parts with new. It looks incredible! I am truly over the moon and I can now wear the bag again with love and pride. I would use the service again, and recommend to all. Thank you so much Team Seam and Paola!

I have used The Seam 3 times already and currently having a fourth item. Amazing craftspeople who clearly take a lot of pride in what they do. Especially want to shoutout Suzy who took on a big job on a Gucci bag of mine and made it as good as new. I was genuinely blown away with how good a job she did. I was about to throw the bag out and shes made it like new! I will use the Seam for all handbag repairs going forward. Thank you!

I had a great experience with The Seam. The maker Rosanna did an amazing job repairing my Prada handbag. It had cracked and worn out handle and scruffs all over it so I have not used it for a while. Rosanna repaired the handle and touched up the scuffs. I recently used it again and got compliments on it. I would really recommend Rosanna! Thanks so much for your great work!

Extremely happy with the service from Suzy, my leather bag was repaired, cleaned and some extra eyelets added to shorten a strap, and is as good as new! Prompt responses to my queries, very responsive throughout. Thoroughly recommended!

This is my second time using The Seam and it was as good as the first. My Maker, Camila, made a great job of repairing a fine wool jumper for me. She was really helpful in choosing the type of repair to do and the finished product will give me years more use out of the jumper. I'd thoroughly recommend the service. Thank you!

I am delighted with my renewed handbag, Suzy, Suzy Woods Anthology, repaired and it looks like new.
The whole process was seamless, from contacted the seam and being put in touch with Suzy. I would highly recommend both Suzy & The Seam.

I would highly recommend The Seam… I have a crochet tank top that I love, had some holes and a frayed seam. I sent some photos, paid the fee plus postage and was assigned Camila Fortune. She did an amazing job repairing it. It’s not cheap, but neither would have buying a new top been, she’s clearly very skilled at what she does.

I have just had my beloved, old Louis Vuitton hold-all delivered back to me, and I am overwhelmed..!
The heat bonded rubberised zip had bust, and the reinforced leather tabs on each end of the zip had worn and looked scruffy.
The zip is exactly the same, heat bonded back on securely and looks great, the tabs have been replaced with new ones, it looks like Suzy has even given her a bit of a clean, to top it of, I little note attached explaining what work had been carried out and why, also asking if I’m happy, sealed with a “X”..!

The cost was even less than the original quote and reasonable.

So, I’d rate the service 10/10, Suzy’s work is great, second to none, I’m lucky to have stumbled across her/the Seam on the internet.

So delighted with the beautiful hand embroidery to repair a moth hole on the front of a much-loved jumper. The jumper is even nicer now than when it was new! Thank you, Maker Camilla, for such a skilled and friendly service.

Paola did a beautiful job on repairing my mums leather satchel. It was an expensive service for an unbranded product, but no one else had the skills or tools so I am incredibly grateful that the Seam’s community of artisans exists. Paola’s work was very high standard, she communicated well throughout and returned the bag safely and very quickly.

First time using The Seam. Sandra D replaced the cuffs on a much loved sweatshirt. She did the work swiftly and they look great. Excellent communication throughout. Will definitely use The Seam and Sandra D again.

Hannah did a great job repairing a zip on my jumpsuit and a hole in my leggings. She was really kind and collected & dropped them off too. I’d definitely recommend.

I had my grandmother’s vintage beaded purse restored by Elodie G. She was absolutely fantastic and kept me updated throughout the whole process. It took longer than originally stated because she was very careful about searching for vintage beads that were true to the bag’s original style. Thank you so much I’m so pleased with the outcome of the purse and this is now something I can use and hopefully pass on in future generations.
