I have ordered cigars from Thompson before, no problem until now. 2 weeks in a row I have been notified cigars are shipping. My card gets charged, I DID NOT order any cigars. Thompson is automatically shipping me cigars and charging me, and I did not order any. Please get you act together, your a business not a neighborhood juke joint. Stop shipping cigars. I will have to take my business elsewhere.

I tried ordering on line, my bank account was pinged, and the money withdraw. Then I received an email my order couldn't be processed. Decided to call, again my account was pinged, and money withdrawn. Again, canceled. This time because I will NOT send a copy of my driver's license. I was not a new account holder. Customer service was pitiful. Never ordering from here again.

Attempted to place an order but was locked out of my account for some unknown reason. I called to place the order. The next day I went onto the Thompson site to confirm the order but was locked out. I called again and was told that I have to wait 48 hours to get back on line. I was told that they updated the app and were having trouble. I hope they fire the eleven year old that wrote the program.
Supervisors aren’t available if you contacting them by phone.
Time to shop elsewhere.
Update; finally got thru to a supervisor, he answered question with statements that he read from a book. They didn’t make sense. I’m still locked out for another day or two because the eleven year old that updated the app is in a school play. It’s a shame that good old customer service is gone.

Thompson Cigar used to be a good company ten years ago. A little over two weeks ago, I ordered some cigars and of course paid for them. I went to eth Thompson Cigar website and tracked my order and found that after over two weeks my order was “still being processed.” This is ridiculous. A day after I placed the order, I received an email from Thompson Cigar, stating that they needed to verify my age, but the only options on the online form were to verify my address. I returned the email, asking if Thompson Cigar would like to verify my age instead of my address, but the only reply I received was that I “was all set.” No cigars! After over two weeks, this company is still processing my order. Hopefully, they will find the competence to process my refund, since they have my money and I have no cigars. Needless to say; there are too many options out there to waste time with Thompson Cigar and I absolutely do not recommend this company.
Membership rip off
got some cheap cigars, but some how i got signed up for a monthly fee of 14.95 .. now cancelling that was a F... headache. I"ll never buy again for being ripped off

I purchased from this company years ago they took a month to give me my order and it took 3 months to finally get ahold of them after persistence, then they refunded the whole order and gave me a coupon to shop back for $150 so I did and there were no issues for years.
THEN they sent me a bad order for fathers day, missing items, cigars stale, pin holes in half the packs of every pack of every carton, i contacted them they asked what was wrong then never responded again to the items missing from the order and the cigars being all half un-smokeable. its been since June and now i might have to sue to get my money back they don't answer emails, have horrible and non existent customer service and are owned by Lilly Online LLC

I've been buying from them for 5 years my last order for $140 usd showed delivered in New Jersey but my address is in New Mexico. Customer service refused to send me a replacement or refund, they say there's a waiting period. I've been waiting 12 days already and still no replacement or refund I'll be taking my business elsewhere!

I have been buying from Thompson for a couple of years and I will admit their service is good but when it isn't watch out. I ordered $230 worth of cigars on 11-30 USPS Priority mail and when I hadn't received them I called them and was informed they hadn't yet shipped. When I inquired as to why I was given the answer "I don't know". I believe the reality was they didn't have the product on 11-30 in spite of no mention of it being backordered. So they took my order and billed me knowing I would have to wait. I could have ordered elsewhere and not have any ill feelings toward the way they do business. I should note I was given a $60 credit only after making the call so as they say "the squeeky wheel gets the grease" but I honestly don't know if I will be back because today is 12-13 so I might see my package by the 15th. 2 weeks later and I grow more unhappy every day with them and USPS. What happened to customer service in our country? Amen

Made my first and only purchase for two…Over billed
Made my first and only purchase for two items. The total was $139.00 They billed me twice for one of the items an additional $56.00 I contacted PayPal and Thompson Cigar multiple times and cannot get my money back. All PayPal does is pass my request for a refund on to Thompsons. I will not do business with Thompson Cigar or PayPal ever again.
Don't do it...They Rip you off with a 14.95 monthly program
I bought 2 packs of clover cigarettes from them. Fast shipping. Were 6.95 a pack.. The this month I get 2 $14.95 deductions via PayPal on my bank account. From Lilly online llc. They say they are not affiliated..lol but they went on and refunded my one from Lilly online llc..lol But still stuck me for another 14.95.. Just a scam.. Canceled via PayPal as Fraud

Horrible quality
Delay shipping on both orders. All my backwoods is damaged and not good quality. False advertising. The box of backwoods is not the same as pictures. Color fading, very thin backwoods also dry. The backwoods is not moist at all. Waste of money, if it wasn’t a legitimate site I would have thought it’s counterfeit products… Also the backwoods boxes don’t come sealed. No type of plastic wrap or sealed closed box. SOMETHING OFF ABOUT THIS COMPANY ❌‼️

Do NOT use this company. As Everyone is saying they are a ripoff with shipping. Ordered $100 worth of product on Friday paid $14.95 for 3 business day shipping. It is now Wednesday and they just shipped with an ETA of Friday. Called "customer service" and got the run around. I asked for a supervisor and was told the supervisor would respond in 24 to 48 hours WTF
Shipping Rip Off !
I have ordered cigars from Thompson several times because they have good prices. They are screwing me on the freight and they do it on every order. I always pay for 2 day business delivery. First, it takes them about three days just to ship the order. This last order, UPS tracking shows delivery over a week out so they are not shipping two day delivery. They are keeping my money and shipping the lowest, slowest rate UPS offers. It is taking on average, 2 weeks to receive an order from them. So, don't pay them anything for freight. It will not make any difference. I won't be ordering from them again.
