Ordered 2 dresses to try since there website stated they accepted returns. Dresses arrived and were nothing like the picture. I requested a return and they said it would cost £25 to return to China, they then refused to give me the return details and offered a partial refund. I accepted the partial refund and they still have not refunded money. Just lots of back and forth emails and getting nowhere. TERRIBLE DISGUSTING SCAMMERS. I have reached out to them multiple times and got nowhere.

Definitely wish I had read these reviews prior to ordering.
Ordered from Amsterdam then saw that the items were in China, eventually turned up but looked terrible and no way was I going to wear them. Requested returns but no reply from the company despite 4 requests.
Only getting emails from Lisa C.E.O of the company offering me discounts lol. My money back would be a better offer.

Chinese company selling cheap junk that somehow registered itself in Netherlands.
Despite numerous emails back and forth over the last two months, refused to refund the money for an item that looks nothing like what's advertised on the website.

Feel scammed
Same experience as everyone else who gave a 1 star rating. If I could have give 0 stars I would. The dress I ordered is on Temu for £8.92 and on Amazon for £16:99. Thomwood sold it for £49.99 and it is identical to the cheaper ones, same fabric and same poor quality. Bought for a wedding, does not fit anyway and they trying not to refund me by offering 10% credit back or exchange.
A. Why would I want to keep a dress that does not fit
B. Why would I want to exchange when I can buy their other clothing from Temu or SHEIN at a fifth of the price they are charging
C why would I want such poor quality clothing to wear at a wedding if I wanted a Temu quality dress I would have purchased from Temu in the first place.
Same as others stating £25 to return and threatening additional costs could be applied by customs.
I don’t think this is lawful behaviour that aligns with consumer rights in UK
Just wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing from these scammers

Disgusting experience avoid at all costs
My daughter ordered the mermaid dress which is advertised as colour - glitter indeed the photographs showed a very pretty sparkly dress.
The dress arrived and is so tacky/cheap looking and no sparkles in sight. It has raw hems and doesn't look like it will last one wearing.
Upon contacting Thomwood about this she has been given the following options :-
A 20% refund and she can keep the dress as a "goodwill gesture".
She can return the dress to China and be given a credit (funny thought company was in Holland) along with a prewarning that this is at her own cost and that the item would probably be held at customs in China therefore they would not received it.
SO TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!
Update got your message Thomwood and I won't be giving you further information as your company is a scam and I have reported you to the SAMR.

Poor returns
Be very careful with this company, despite their claims about returns, you will have to pay at least £40 for a return which the chinese factory will then reject and you will not receive any compensation.
