Absolutely awful company, the only thing I must give them credit for is the speed of response.
You will wait WEEKS for your order to arrive, it will be low quality and your only options to return are;
Keep them they’ll give you 10% back (20% when I told them how ridiculous this was to take 10% for useless items)
Have store credit for more awful clothes
Or pay £25 to send them back yourself.
Needless to say I will not be shopping there again.

Worst company, ordered it was late and they want £25 to return it.
Several emails later and still no further forward. Left with item I do not want and out of pocket of £40.
Would advise people to to stay clear of this company .

This company is a complete scam. They pretend your package is “in transit” for weeks, then claim it was “not accepted” or “abandoned” without ever notifying you. They delay responses and give endless excuses to eat up your time. Once you try to follow up, they say the claim period has expired and the package was destroyed. No email, no phone call, no chance to recover your order.

Bought some house slippers. Took a month to arrive.
Looked beautiful and heavy duty in the pictures. Arrived and nothing like. Flimsy and tacky.

Scam scam scam! Firstly my order was days late so missed the event I had bought the dress for but when it did arrive the dress looked nothing like on the website, such cheap material it looked horrible! Then when trying to return for a refund they make it as hard as possible probably hoping you’ll give up, my return is now currently stuck somewhere in china and they doing nothing to help!

Appalling quality and terrible customer service, avoid at all costs!!!!

Absolute crap. Not a legit British / American website either. Even though it’s designed to manipulate into thinking so. Chinese cheap sh*t. The good reviews here must be fake. Why believe me? Please, order something for yourself and regret it. Makes no difference to me. Ordered a shirt that took about 3 weeks to arrive, looked alright, material was a bit thin and cheap but whatever, it came, only to realise THE BUTTONS DONT FIT IN THE SLOTS MADE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SHIRT TO CLOSE IT. Are you having a laugh!? You couldn’t go to the lengths to make them just a few millimetres bigger and the shirt would be at least somewhat worthwhile? Thieves. Save your ‘please get in touch’ reply either, as you’ve used to respond to others here. Im not being told to pay for my return to China, as others have mentioned here. I’ll be filing a chargeback with my bank and getting every penny back. Dirty, sneaky little pieces of work.

Also, note they posted the exact same copy and paste reply that they have to every other 1 star review here. Even after I mentioned it in my original post. These clearly aren’t a legit business.

Update: Thomwood has attempted to have this review removed by flagging it. I have provided full verification through Trustpilot and stand by every word. Still think they’re genuine?

I was pleasantly surprised by how seamless my experience with Thomwood was. The jumper I ordered arrived exactly when I needed it, which was perfect timing. It feels really high quality, and it really fits well. I already placed new order!!

Ordered a denim playsuit looked beautiful online arrived pure cheap like something of shein or temu; only quality probably worse. Nightmare getting a return trying to charge me £25 to return to Asia. Never buy of them harassing me to not refund the pitiful excuse for a playsuit. And then to top it off to pay half the items value to return it. Disgraceful

Do not buy from this seller, products are poor quality in both design and materials.Item took a long time to arrive and if you want to return it YOU have to pay £25 to have it shipped to China where the clothes are made.

Theirs is a pattern here, Thomwood will apologising and acting like they don’t know about this.
I have had 7 emails with them including from Fabian the Head of Customer service so they are clear of the issue but won’t abide by the law because they are fronted as a high grade European company based in Netherlands who use cheap low grade fashion from China.
All of the others reviews say the same as mine Thomwood reply with the same response acting like they don’t know what the issue is and say they would like to look into it!

The dress was poorly made and the fabric was cheap. Their manufacture is based in China.
I am trying to return it but they will not cover the cost that will be approximately £25 according to them!!
The website is very misleading

I bought a dress for the first time with Thomwood, the order took almost 2weeks to get to the uk. Received the dress and the material is cheap, does not look anything near what was advertised 💔gutted as wanted this outfit fir a birthday event. Temu or Shein have far better quality and affordable than Thomwood, I would not recommend buying from this site again.

Cheap and nasty poor quality clothes. Refuses their own 100% money back guarantee. Refused refund even after providing photos. Avoid at all cost.

Avoid like the plague

Business you would think is based in Amsterdam and it's not. Item arrived today a couple of weeks after ordered from China. Packaging was bad but item was not damaged. Sadly if they think this is a quality shoe then it's not, terrible only word I would describe it as.
then e mailed to ask to return and have to send to china to get my money back, ridiculous. thank god I bought on a credit card. I would make one suggestion to everyone, just buy on amazon they are so good, and this company could learn alot from them

Cheap materials and poor quality. Poor customer service, only partial refund offered, “keep item and 10% refund, or 100% site credit but pay the £25 shipping for the next item”
This is a con artist company DO NOT buy from them.

I ordered some genuine leather sandals . They arrived in a different colour they weren't anything like the ones that I ordered. Visually they were a cheap nasty copy at best plastic upper glued onto a cheap sole with Cork looks like insole material. Customer Service were very quick to be understanding about my sheer disappointment and offered me 10% back £3.49 as they want £25 to return . Not worth £3.50 in all fairness . A proper scam where they copy what youve ordered from somewhere else

I would give them zero stars if I could honestly , horrible cheap overpriced fabric with the false info stated on their website of a full refund , you don’t get one they only offer you store credit . The garment was shipped from china which also isn’t stated on their website and they make you pay the £25+ shipping returns fee and also told me I had no guarantee of it getting there . I had no idea it was shipped from there. Awful awful awful avoid !
