I have been waiting since 2 weeks now.

I'm reading through some of the comments and wondering what the complaints are. I've uploaded several files and folders in their entirety. I've done this from my iMac and my Surface tablet. I am able to access files from my iPhone. For the price for lifetime, this is great. The only complaint I have is that I cannot play my music uploaded from my iPhone but I really don't care since I listen to very little music.

This offer is a SCAM! Stay away from!
Service doesn't compare with what they promise. Low speed, horrible UI and files cannot be downloaded after upload (if the upload worked out for once). Forget about money-back policy, they just will delete your account and deny it if you dare to request your money back.

Nice! Thunderdrive just reported two of my reviews to Trustpilot. And this shows exactly how these Scammers (Thunderdrive.io and .eu) are working in order to try their drawing reputation at least one nosehole over water. They report bad reviews with ridiculous reasoning and additionally place fake five-star reviews (Check all the short five star ones with basically no particular information or meaning --> FAKE)

This is also how the work with their scam tactics. They offer you a great cloud storage for a fantastic price, but what you get is an almost no function platform with no value. And if you dare to stand up for a refund of your money, the simply delete your account and laugh you in the face. Don't fall for their scam and spend your bucks for something valuable.

Purchased 2 TB at a low price. Uploaded one file. Tried to upload a folder containing pictures but found that I need to upload each file individually.
Uploaded four files of 900mb. Took few hours. The message upload success arrived. But the files are not there. The files just disappeared after upload. Forgot to mention one upload stopped when 3 minutes were left without any reason.
There is no link to contact customer support.

Now I'm able to upload folders and folders appear in my drive with all files on PC. Didn't try on mobile plateform yet.
This was after I contacted their online chat service.

Worst purchase ever. Had a multiple issues with a service, starting with downtime, multiple errors, unable to upload large files etc.

Their service is indistinguishable to the tiny detail from a $39 app:

I assume that is what actually installed on their servers.
There is no company information whatsoever on their site (is there any actually?).
Also their roadmap is not updated from a day of purchase, including "Bug fixes expected ASAP"
This all drives to conslusion that this is a scam/semiscam moneygrab low quality product that have no intention to improve in the future.

I was using (more like testing) service for around a month, and it's quality is below resonable, with no improvements over time. There is absolutely no way you can use the space you purchased due to low stability. There are reasons to consider this issues will not be solved in foreseeable future:

1. The company (if any) behind the product is unknown. Stacksocial gives this link as a contact with seller support: (google: planagramco) . The site (google: planagram) (which is very similar to thunderdrive site in design, so there is likely a connection) is a service for scheduled instagram posting, also shows no information on any legal entity behind it. Planagram is also sold by Stacksocial, but the seller is different. The Planagram service reviews are also not good.
2. There service itself looks like a simple mass-available plugin (described above).
3. No feedback from developers. No blog, twitter, etc.
4. Not a single changes to main page/service since day of purchase (looks abandoned).

So I assume following semi-scam scheme here:
1. Provide bare minimum functioning service;
2. Sell the hyperbolic product for a luring price as a "just launced" action (a believable story, many companies accumulated critical user-base with silimar offers);
3. Reject all claims because service is functionung "somehow". But this is like buying a new Ferrari but getting a used Toyota instead.

Beware, these are smart cons. I felt protected by PayPal, but my claims were rejected. They were obviously very confident in their talks in PayPal dispute.

It is a technically valid service. Customer support deserves five stars: very competent, always ready, and very kind.

I don't often leave negative reviews...

But when I do, it's because the company has really ticked me off...

In this case, I've grown concerned about thunderdrive and the lack of respect they seem to have for their customers.

Lack of updates (except for sales emails), lack of response from the customer team, lack of information regarding the launch of the IOS apps.

It's as if the company is a one man team...

Im sorry, but I'm currently not satisfied with this platform and instead prefer to use a more stable, more customer centric provider like Publist.app

Edit: Customer service contacted me and told me to contact customer service. Actually I left this review because customer service never responded to my emails or even website chat program communications.

Along with my issue, I also wanted to respond to you on your comment on Hoffman's post. You see, I use cloud storage for sharing a few session recordings and audio files. Most of my intended audience are mobile users and when they try to access the folder without signing in, they will not be able to download or view the files. It works on desktop browser but it doesn't work on Mobile browser. The only way to view the folders (from mobile) are if you are signed in. I cannot ask my viewers to sign up just because they need to download my files which I am sharing from my drive. P.S. there is not even a scroll bar when you are not logged in. Users can view just few icons on screen which they cannot interact with.

For people who are looking for workaround this issue:
I am using a workaround by sharing individual files, but I have to do this every time I upload a file.

So many technical issues. I am trying to upload a file for the past 3 days. It says upload completed, but the file does not come up in the drive.
Updated my rating to 2 now.
Bad Service, Bad platform.
Only pros is very affordable pricing.

Sent a few emails and used the online chat to get a refund. On their website, they promise a 2 hour response time! Don't believe them less they are sincere in their promise.
Still waiting for them to response to my emails and my refund.

I've learned to deal with the inadequacies of ThunderDrive and would like to upgrade my rating to 3 stars, but only because it's inexpensive. After uploading nearly 300G I have learned that the platform sucks, but you can eventually learn not to believe what it shows you. Sometimes you will see folders where there are not, and you will not see folders where they are. Refreshing the link will generally clear that up.
Once you finish uploading everything, the platform seems to work a lot better. Sometimes when uploading you have to wait for it to catch up and display the files and folders correctly, and there is an estimated time of upload that is meaningless, so don't believe what you see.
File size appears to be something they intend to make operational in the future, but it does not work for me. It would be very helpful, but for $59 I guess we have to live with the dysfunctional bits. ThunderDrive sucks when you compare it to DropBox, but the price can't be beat. Be patient with it, don't expect too much.

A few months ago I found a deal for 2TB of storage on ThunderDrive.io for $60. I didn't do as much research as I should have, thinking "how bad could it get?" Well as it turns out, it could get pretty bad. The entirety of the service is a bare-bones website, which is much slower than it has any right to be given the limited interface and feature list. There is no mobile or desktop application. This wouldn't necessarily be a deal-breaker, but the fact that it's essentially impossible to upload more than five files at a time certainly is. When you have 2TB of storage, the expectation is that you could select the contents of an entire hard drive, and walk away while the upload commences. This is not the case. At best, the website does nothing. At worst, it freezes or returns an error, without uploading more than a couple of the files from that selection. There is no option to do a "batch upload" as a workaround, so literally it is impossible to use the space I have paid for. This is a waste of money, and I'm honestly unsure if it is an intentional scam, or if the developers are just wildly incompetent. Save yourself some money and stay away from this service, no matter what kind of deal you're offered.

Purchased 4tb for a life time hoping for an app to sync my photography work eg: cloud backup.....no joy no app or very troublesome to sync, so 4tb plus cost is down the drain company wouldn't refund after a week so going back to sync.com.

As an Amazon Prime member I have unlimited photo storage, but not video, so this is where ThunderDrive came to the rescue. I ordered their 2TB service and started transferring my videos to their cloud. Excellent speed transferring all 750gb of videos with another 1.25TB to spare. Even though there is no mobile app for iOS uploading smaller files like photos went well for me. For the great quality of service and the excellent price I highly recommend ThunderDrive as one of the top cloud services around. You won't be disappointed!

I bought a lifetime subscription of 4TB. Uploads and downloads were pretty fast. However ThunderDrive found out I should be on an EU server, this was faster for me.
Contact through the website was easy and also very quick (within a day a reply). They changed the server for me and with a few easy steps I am back on my ThunderDrive on an EU server.
Right now I am uploading my several HD's.
I am very satisfied and happy with ThunderDrive. Easy, fast and great support. So keep up the good work.

ThunderDrive is an easy to use online storage, and great value for the money. Their support team was able to assist me with couple of inquires in timely manner. You won't find a better deal anywhere else

This approach to files is a game-changer: Keep them all in the cloud, access your recently used files at local drive speeds (thanks to the cache) and also sync and share the folders and files you choose.

It's fairly simple to use with good upload speeds. Sometimes the photos that I upload get rotated but that's a minor problem. I spent $53 for 2TB of storage which I felt was great. iCloud storage is costing too much extra. There isn't an app but all you need to do is create a shortcut on your device's home screen and it's pretty much an app. This might be a no-name (for now) company but they have good potential. Hopefully the upcoming updates will be good and increase the value of this service more. Overall, I think this is a good, cheap option for cloud storage.
