Precision-made stairs and excellent communication. Five stars for quality, delivery, and service
I don't normally leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience with TKstairs. The ordering process was incredibly easy, and their communication was excellent from the moment I placed the order through to the day of delivery. Even the delivery driver was fantastic.
The quality and precision of the stairs are perfect. While they recommend allowing for a bit of extra space when measuring up, the craftsmanship is so precise that they would fit perfectly even if ordered to exact dimensions. I cannot recommend TKstairs highly enough.

Overall very good experience with TK…
Overall very good experience with TK Stairs. The designers worked with me over a very long period before finalising the design and it was an easy process to order and deliver.
Ordered mine as a flat pack and quality of wood was very high and the set was cut perfectly to allow for perfect fit during assembly.
Unfortunately I made a large mistake which meant I had to reorder parts to start over. TK Stairs were happy to do this for me and the additional cost was not unreasonable nor did it take long to get the new parts.
Really good service throughout. Only pick up perhaps being to perhaps make build instructions a bit clearer for DIY customers such as myself who had to learn the hard way…!

Great service and product
Great support and a speedy service considering we're taking about a full staircase.
Simpson Transport delivered it and helped carry it into the house which was a novelty.
Haven't fitted the stairs yet but the quality is excellent.

Delivery was at the very limit of what they said it could take “up to” even though we said it was urgent and asked if they could help us out. Totally unhelpful. It was also pretty difficult to find a phone number to try and contact them.
The finish on the understand is really poor and ugly. We had to get a joiner to buy materials and refinish the underside.
There was also a LOAD Of work CUTTING the spindles all to length and cutting the correct angle on each end of each one and then cutting all the fillers to go in between!
One of the worst bits is that the end posts are clearly made of other odd bits of wood bodged together. These will need painted as would look poor if just varnished. Definitely the worst of any pre-made staircases we have ever bought.

You're essentially complaining that you got what you ordered and it arrived on time.
We cannot just manufacture stairs in 5 days like you asked us to, we manufactured and delivered the stairs within the agreed lead time - "on the limit" the delivery was not late.
On the other points,
Standard Constrcution:
You ordered the stairs online and there are options to select if you want the stairs exposed back, and you selected "standard construction".
It specifically says on the stair builder and on the document you signed off:
"With the exception of open back/open riser stairs, the stairs will need to be under drawn, (underside of stairs covered) as redwood wedges and glue
blocks are used to construct the stairs."
Pre-fitted balustrade:
There's also an option to select whether you want to the balustrade pre fitting, which you said no to!
You got exactly what you ordered, within the advertised lead time, how can you complain about this?
Every stair manufacturer delivers stairs with the underside finished unless you pay more for an "exposed back" staircase, which we offered and you declined.
We were totally transparent about this.
You're essentially saying that you got what you ordered which is ridiculous.
If you had paid more we would have gladly made you an exposed back staircase with pre fitted balustrade, but you declined this.

Gutted
Had to pay Carpenter twice as stairs wasn’t made properly and didn’t fit they did send a replacement part but arrived several days later wouldn’t use again I’m afraid . No offer of compensation for the 250 I lost
