Elle was phenomenal help in navigating this crazy crypto tax world. I changed tax accounting firms twice until i hit on token tax and Elle's help. Couldnt have done it without her. Kudos!!

TokenTax has been delivering fantastic service. Very professional and helpful team. Had to do a recalc of my cost base in a short space of time which I thought would be very difficult and time consuming and Devin turned it around very quickly and was super helpful.

Excellent support from the outset. The website is simple to use and for more complex matters they help you more than you could ever expect. Scott was fantastic, helping reconcile all my different wallets and giving excellent outlines to linking all sorts of different exchanges.

Definitely using them from hereon out! Can only recommend even if you have a convoluted crypto track record.

Scott worked tirelessly to reconcile my transactions and was immensely helpful in assisting me in finding missing trades, long forgotten exchange and wallet accounts, and various odds and ends I would have pulled my hair out attempting to find on my own.
I can't recommend TokenTax enough and will certainly be working closely with them in the future, not only on my crypto tax reporting but my small business reporting as well.

I'm new to crypto and I wanted to get a hold of my tax implications the moment I started trading and getting carried away with things. I was using uniswap and metamask for defi trading so I wanted something that would be as seamless as possible. After hooking up API with my main exchanges, I ran into a few issues with synching. Sam was absolutely amazing in helping me figure things out. She and the team are a wealth of knowledge and always willing to help.

If you thought trading on multiple exchanges was a tax headache, DeFi is a tax headache on another level entirely. I've tried a handful of other crypto tax websites, but none of them are anywhere near as helpful as TokenTax when it comes to DeFi.

They made it so easy. I imported my exchange & trading wallets and was 99% reconciled with my current actual token balances within about an hour of cross-checking against Etherscan.

MakerDAO cdp's, Compound loans, Uniswap trades all imported pretty seamlessly, with just a few more obscure tokens needing a bit of manual entry/tweaking. Seriously impressive.

TokenTax is 100% worth the price. They are the best.

I recently started working with the team at TokenTax to reconcile transactions and to file my tax returns. My only regret is not having discovered TokenTax years ago. They are undoubtedly the sharpest team in the industry. Their expertise and customer service is unmatched. The TokenTax platform/UI is user friendly and uploading transactions/tax docs is a breeze. OMG> I would never have been able to deal with my crypto taxes without Token Tax. They made it SO easy to do my taxes. I will never go without using them. It's so important to use a specialist for crypto. If you don't file your tax reports to FBAR you can go to jail. Most accountants have no clue how to tally this stuff or file the proper reports. Don't chance it!

Great Service!

Communication has been slow. On their site they claim the average response time is 5 minutes but this is rarely the case. Sometimes they will read messages but not reply. For international clients outside of the USA they state they use the average cost method even though in my jurisdiction the FIFO method needs to be used. When I attempted to bring this to their attention they just said it is "standard accounting practice". Be careful before purchasing and ensure that their calculation method is compatible with your jurisdiction's tax code else you'll end up spending a lot of money on data that you can't use to file your tax returns.

Slow and inconsistent communication at the beginning but once the freight train picked up speed the final results were well worth it! Looking forward to our ongoing process and completion of 2020.

I subscribe to one of their premium services. I liked them so much I paid for a multi-year subscription. These guys are very good. I have worked with two other crypto-tax companies before I found Tokentax. Unlike the others, Tokentax returns their calls, emails and chat. When I had problems with another firm, they promptly stepped in and worked with me to refile my 2017 and 2018 tax returns, and provided me data to file my 2019 returns. Their fees are a bit higher than the competition, yet in my mind they are worth the extra money. I highly recommend Tokentax.

Professional team with full understanding of cryptocurrency tax liability. My TokenTax experience has been stress free knowing tax deadlines have been met and I am compliant with IRS regulations and guidelines. I have utilized the TokenTax "Silver Plan" for two years and fully intend to use it next year.

I got audited by the IRS for substantial crypto volume on my 8949 form. Unfortunately, crypto tax software solutions are only so powerful, and there is a lot of room for human error (which may or may not be the tax payers fault). For me, I had a substantial amount of transactions that were incredibly difficult to reconcile on my own. When it was time to review my transactions, my CPA and I discovered errors made by these third party programs in addition to human error (not all transactions were reported). We needed to find a better solution. I searched online and asked a few people through twitter what they use - and they pointed me to TokenTax. I signed up and was able to inject all of my cryptocurrency tax records within an hour. Most of the exchanges have API keys that transferred ALL of the transactions (from every year) to TokenTax. This solved a huge program, because now the cost basis was accurate. My CPA and I purchased two 30 minute sessions with TokenTax CPAs to ensure the transactions were being imported correctly, and if there was anything that I was missing. They were an absolute godsend, because not only did they review my entire report, they actually saved me a bunch of over-tax payment due to the previous third party program incorrectly calculating my capital gains. My CPA and I were able to extract proposed amended returns, and deliver them to the IRS agent and his manager. They were very grateful for the efforts we put in to ensure the report was accurate. I ended up owing some back tax, however, it would have been substantially more if I hadn't gone with TokenTax. In my opinion, TokenTax has set the bar well beyond any other tax program out there. I fully recommend TokenTax. I'm a real guy, and felt the need to share some of my experience here. Also - be cooperative with the IRS. Don't try to hide anything. They are just doing their job, don't make it hard for them. Because I fully cooperated, and explained that there was human error mixed with software errors, they agreed to waive all penalties. I cannot guarantee this for you, but make sure you do the right thing. Again, without TokenTax, I would have been on the hook for substantially more. Try these guys out, you wont be disappointed.
