Nothing to fault really. Everything since the booking of our survey was so transparent and fast. The call after the survey took place was informative, we received our report a day before they said it would be ready and it was so clear and detailed with so many pictures taken that we now have a really clear picture in regard to the house that we are buying and what we have to do next. We are so thankful and really recommend this company if you're looking for a competent surveyor!

I was very pleased with my experience with Tom Barnes Surveyors. Booking through their website was easy and I thought the price was fair. The surveyor was great and called me on the afternoon after he completed the survey on the property I'm buying to talk me through his findings before sending the report over. He was very clear and helpful during our conversation.

The survey itself was clear and detailed with the findings. Most things were not a surprise but there were some items I had overlooked and am glad I am now aware of them before completing my purchase.

An excellent very comprehensive survey Level 3 survey was carried out by Tom. The report was completed well within the expected time period which was great. The report was extremely detailed and numerous photographs were provided highlighting a number of issues. The explanatory notes and information/advice provided within the survey report were both excellent.
The survey report is without doubt the best I have commissioned in the last 10 years.

We recently had a Level 2 survey carried out and were extremely pleased with both the service and the report. The visit was arranged promptly and communication was excellent.
The report was detailed, clear and thorough, and we received it within three working days. Matthew also gave us a courtesy call after the survey and was happy to speak to us again to answer our questions. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tom Barnes Surveyors.

Tom made the whole process super straightforward from the get go. An inspection was booked promptly, courtesy call given the day after to explain findings and any points of concern, and then the full report was received the next day (less than 48hours after the survey). The report was very detailed and gave us clear understanding of things to raise. Would 100% recommend Tom Barnes for great service and thorough expertise!

Tom Barnes surveyors is a fantastic surveyor company. From start to finish the process was seamless. Tom completed a Level 3 RICS survey on an older property I am looking to purchase as a FTB. Tom called me on the day of the survey to talk me through the findings and recommendations. The report was received two days later! I also booked in to speak with Tom regarding some further enquiries I had with Tom's admin team. I'd recommend this company/Tom to anybody! Fantastic service!

We had a survey done by Tom on 19th December on a beautiful detached thatched cottage, the house was a dream for us so we paid for a very thorough survey, it was the best money we have spent recently unfortunately the findings were not what we wanted as Tom went through the property with a very fine tooth comb.
It was desperately disappointing for us but by paying for a thorough survey that's exactly what we got.
There were so many things that required repairs,replacements and every aspect was written in the report and the costs and repairs substantial.
If anybody out there is looking for a survey when buying a property Tom is the man don't go on the net looking for cheap surveyors, spend a but more and I can tell you in the long run you will not regret it as the findings will have a great impact on buying it and not buying it.
I'm so pleased I used this company even though it meant not buying our dream home.
