Sited in the beautiful Black Mountain, its the perfect mountain retreat, the ambience is warm and friendly. Beside the full English breakfast, I strongly recommend their cooking, its just un-forgettable!

From the first step into the pub til the goodbye, the Horse and Groom was perfect. The food was fantastic, the welcome great, the room was comfortable. If you ever pass that way see for yourself and if you fancy a few days away stay there ...it's great

The proprietor meeting me as I arrived and showing me where to park only a few metres from the room door was a very welcome start to a very comfortable stay in a spacius room with excellent faciliities including a roll-in shower, and even a choice of which side of the bed to ;park the wheelchair, and no obstuctions from unnecessary furniture and tastefully decorated. Much better than comparable rooms with the large chains of hotels.

Stayed over for a couple of days in Edinburgh and found this to be an ideal location. Breakfast was lovely and set you up for the day. Traditional rooms, if you want all mod cons then go elsewhere, if its traditional and one to one friendly warm hosts then this is it. Tea and coffee replenished each day. Ten minute walk into the heart of the city. Would use again if stopping in Edinburgh

Wonderful, wonderful time in Burley, was there for three nights and stayed in a marvellous hotel called the Burley Inn. Great food, local beers, friendly staff and the village is wonderful, full of charm and super shops.

Ponies all over the place as well as cows, sheep and pigs all wandering freely throughout the forest. The forest itself is just lovely, small to large lakes are all over the place where you can park and dream the day away surrounded by peace and quiet - you may even see many deer wandering by.

We were very impressed with the harbour setting. There are nice short walks nearby. The food was good and the service friendly and efficient. Highly recommended for a stopover or short break.

Central location, nice clean & friendly Would book again

Visited the Fountain Inn at Rowlands Castle for the second year running having had a brilliant time the 1st year when we were visiting Havant to watch football.

Didn't think it could be as good the second year but it actually surpassed the previous year.

Great beer, superb curry on site, brilliant music and a hearty breakfast only interrupted by a sound nights sleep in a very comfortable room.

Will definitely revisit if we're in the area even if it's just the pub for a drink.

rude and even though we had prepaid- she didnt want to let us in because she said we looked a little out of the normal. I am a 24 year old med student with my fiance...

So sorry, but my husband and I agree the breakfast was awful, was unable to eat the egg and the sausage. It was friendly though and clean.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at Copperfields Vegetarian Guest House in Broadstairs. The booking process was easy on the Toprooms site and the accommodation proved to be as described; Friendly, Comfortable with a very adequate and delicious veggie breakfast.

Easy to access and get information. - have not been to the accommodation yet but if it is as good as we have been led to believe.....should be really enjoyable

I have used Toprooms a few times and have found the site easy to use. The prices are very good with big savings and the accomodation information has always been well presented and honest.
