I bought a trenchcoat coat, where one of the wristbands fell off after wearing it for the first time. When contacting customer service it took 10 days before their first response, telling me they could not help me unless I provided the fysical receipt from the store. I even offered to pay for a new wristband. I was then told that this is not something they could help me with, and the case was closed before I even had the chance to reply.

My experience sadly chimes with those before me. Poor. The aesthetic is elegant and beautiful, but quality is at best mediocre, and actually poor for the price. Trousers that don’t survive a gentle wash or dry clean. Broken cheap zips. Poor stitching and fraying. And as experienced by another reviewer, sizing is odd. So a pair of jeans meant to be an inch smaller were smaller overall.
Client “service” will do everything to fob you off and despite their terms, will not honour refunds for goods. You - the customer - will be blamed or spun a yarn about their product team. And some assistant will tell you - unhelpfully, rudely, that they are sorry you “feel” that way. Finally, if you buy from a partner company, they will somewhat snootily refer to this as ‘wholesale’ and will refuse any responsibility.

My payment is pending at the bank so I would like an email please to confirm my order as you seem to be processing the payment without a order number or confirmation.

I really do not understand why this company is still operating? I have had several bad experiences. First it was a purchase through MatchesFashion, the boots were sent with a flaw, which I documented immediately and were able to return thanks to Matches but I waited for a refund for more than two weeks..I placed several orders directly and they took so long to be shipped that I had to cancel them and as I see I was very lucky to. My recent experience through FarFetch is far less optimistic (I shopped through them in hope they can protect the customer, but...Still waiting for my refund, they refunded one of the two articles I have returned and no word about the other, in the second week of waiting..with their irresponsible and appalling behaviour they are ruining the reputation of good companies.

Står ikke inde for deres vares kvalitet. Jeg købte en taske fra en hjemmeside der solgte totems produkter.Min taske gik i stykker efter bare 5 uger idet der tydeligvis var en fejl i taskens sammensætning. Hjemmesiden jeg købte tasken fra kunne ikke varetage klagen idet den i mellemtiden var kommet under administration og derfor var ved at lukke. De henviste til Toteme selv. Jeg skriver til Toteme, der beklager men ikke vil tage ansvar for varers kvalitet, der er købt gennem mellemhandlere (altså forretninger de selv sælger til og som de alligevel ville skulle tageimod defekte varer fra), idet dette er deres interne politikker og de ikke vil ændre på dem. De står således ikke inde for produkternes kvalitet, hvis ikke det er købt direkte på deres hjemmeside eller i en af deres forrentninger, dette selvom det er dem der har produceret varen.
Et mærke med så dyre produkter der ønsker høj kvalitet er dette fuldstændig uacceptabelt. Nu står jeg tilbage med en taske jeg har kunne bruge i 5 uger førend den gik i stykker og de beklager men vil ikke have noget med det at gøre. Og den samarbejdspartner/hjemmeside jeg har købt dem af er ved at lukke og kan heller ikke tage imod en reklamation af tasken. Det må vist være den dyreste taske til dato.
Jeg kan desværre ikke anbefale at købe nogle af deres ting, da det er min erfaring at de ikke kan stå inde for produkternes kvalitet.

Not sure about the bad reviews. I have had a amazing experience with them. Excellent customer service going above and beyond to help me. Was very worried after reading the reviews but need not be. I absolutely love my bag and the quality and will definitely be happy to order from them again.

Ein absolutes Desaster und einfach nur schade … denn die Schuhe an sich wären toll.
Fraudulent company
This is a fraudulent company which doesn’t provide return shipping label after 20 emails and numerous texts on what’s up. It also never answers phone calls nor in US or in Sweden! Stay away . I purchased 1000$ shoes that cannot be worn by human being and trying to get my refund by asking for return label for 6 days . Severe delays for refunds
I placed an order at the end of December, the parcel never arrived and I only finally got a refund to my card mid February. I asked that they cover the interest charge to my card and they refused. I used to think they had excellent customer service but this was probably my worst ever online shopping experience, no genuine concern and I was treated as if I was the problem for continually complaining and asking for them to resolve the issue. I really like their clothes but wont ever buy from them or recommend them to friends again.

Hopplösa att ha att göra med. Har ett presentkort/tillgodokvitto som endast kan användas i butik. Står i kö till ett par örhängen som inte finns i butik men däremot på hemsidan. Företaget kan absolut inte lösa så att jag kan få örhängena som jag betalat för. Mina pengar är redan betalade till Toteme, örhängena finns online men detta är tydligen helt omöjlig ekvation.

Customer service said they see my return has been received and that they will reach out to their warehouse but I have heard nothing from them. I guess I’ll need to dispute with Amex. It’s a shame they used to be great with customer service.

Super bad quality and customer service! I’ve purchased the T-Lock-bag and had several problems with it (ripped stitching, broken clasp etc), the contact with the customer service was always very slow. In the end, I‘ve had enough and wanted to return the bag and get my money back. They‘ve received the bag over a month ago (which you can see in the tracking information) but they can’t find it in their warehouse. Again, the communication is very slow and I‘m reminding them about this matter every couple of days but they don’t even reply. Such a shame!
Great customer service
Although I was a little taken aback by all the bad reviews, I ordered two coats in two different sizes and hoped for the best. The coat was a little later than the shipment I payed for. I emailed this to them and I got a quick response and got my shipping money back. The return of one coat went very smoothly, I received an email saying they had received the return and a couple days later the money was credited on my bank account. I think the service was great and everything went smoothly. So maybe I'm lucky, or they did something with the bad reviews and made their service a lot better. The coat is wonderful as well:)

I was one of the customers who purchased their iconic well known capsule long coat 4 years ago, their "Signature wool cashmere coat".
There is no comparison to the quality of that first coat I purchased 2019- 2020 and the two I bought 2022 and 2023. It is a shame to see that this brand has gone from exquisite quality of a coat that felt like a double cashmere wool dream I could not find in any other brand to the crap quality cashmere/wool they sell today. The pockets fell apart in my two last coats and the quality of the cashmere is no longer the same even though the coat has become at least 100 USD more expensive. Shame on you Toteme! At least lower the price if you are going to produce lower quality products. Toteme has compromised their "high quality" trademark in order to maximize revenues. I regret not having the original first signature coat and corresponding scarf I bought 2019/2020. The quality of the coat has a quality decrease of 30-40% which should equal that much price decrease instead of current price increase. I would not purchase that coat again but instead opt for Joseph brand or Max Mara instead.
