Hi, my name is Marco and I am a professional tour guide born and raised in Naples, Italy. I do wonderful tours of Pompeii, Naples, Capri, the Amalphi Coast and of all the other beautiful places in Campania Region. I always have new ideas and I never stop creating original tours and experiences to let you enjoy something special and not only the most famous places. When I have time I always study and explore new areas too, my website, Tourist Guide Naples, is always a work in progress. I work in order to let my clients feel alive, a tour for me doesn't only have to be informative but exciting too. For example I can show you the historic center of Naples but hidden corners too, the city center of the old Pompeii but some details while we walk through the narrow streets of this Roman city too, the Cathedral of Amalphi and the view of the coast but the steps and the streets where the local people live too, the exclusive area of Capri but some fascinating paths with incredibile villas too. From the very beginning, Marco was incredibly responsive to all of my questions and made sure we planned the perfect tours for our family. We spent two days with him, starting with a tour of Pompeii. Marco arranged a car service to pick us up from our hotel, and during the drive, he shared fascinating information about the area of Naples and the sites we passed. Once we arrived at Pompeii, he did an excellent job guiding us, tailoring the tour to our family of six and our specific interests. He patiently answered all of our questions, and we really got a sense of what life was like back then.
On our second day, Marco took us to the island of Capri, which ended up being one of our favorite days of the entire trip. We would not have been able to see so much of the island without Marco’s guidance. He also took care of making a lunch reservation for us, which was no easy feat due to our food allergies. He even spoke with the chef personally to ensure they could accommodate us safely. While on Capri, Marco arranged for us to take a boat tour around the island, visit the Gardens of Augustus, shop, and enjoy the incredible views from the island’s high point. Thanks to Marco’s careful planning, we were able to simply show up and enjoy our time without any stress.
Marco’s deep knowledge of the region and its history really enhanced our experience. We highly recommend him for any tours—he truly made our trip unforgettable, and you won’t be disappointed!

Ho avuto il piacere di visitare gli scavi di Pompei con Marco Carrino, e non posso fare a meno di raccomandarlo a chiunque voglia immergersi nella storia di questa straordinaria città antica.
