Currently awaiting item purchased for Christmas. I understand that this could take time however going near into February and promises over a tracking number so I can actually see proof of this item being sent and not just the word of someone emailing, is ridiculous. It doesn’t take long to copy and paste a tracking number. I’ve given the benefit of the doubt and will adjust my review if and when I see fit. However a measly 30 percent off discount isn’t really going to cut it. Specifically because this was a chosen present for my daughter.

Ordered goods out of stock and request for refund took a long time but did arrive. I suspect goods were short supply generally as i checked other sites. Christmas probably part of delay but in the end it worked out and Toys NZ is a company I would do business with .

I was appalled with the recent service from Toys Central. Promised delivery dates, didnt deliver. Then went on to promise refunds which have not yet been paid. At this point I see these guys as total crooks.

Ordered something for a christmas present, it says shipping within NZ and had a ETA date before the 23rd. I ordered it on the 10th Dec and it arrived 5th January from America. It's misleading customers to state its within NZ then you actually have to wait for it from USA. Won't order from this site again.

Terrible communication and customer service. They cancelled my order, after waiting weeks for it, and did not give me a refund. Do NOT recommend!

Order placed on 29th Nov as item noted in stock with shipping immediate. On 1st Dec received second notification confirm items processed with tracking to follow. On 10th Dec received a third email to confirm tracking number but only 1 of the 3 items ordered was confirmed as shipped. On the 19th Dec I received a reply to my query advising that the 2 other items were out of stock which left me no time to order something else in time for Christmas. I am still waiting for a refund nearly a month later. I will never order from ToyCentral New Zealand again and advise others to avoid this online supplier.

False advertising that they ship within New Zealsnd, waited for an extended period for item to ship and then they say its coming from America. I don't think they should be allowed to not say where they are actually based. So sad my child missed out on their christmas present, if I had known I never would have purchased from them.
Who knows if its good quality, I will probably still have to wait another 2 weeks to recieve it after they took 3 weeks to get it shipped. Only gave 2 stars because customer service does get back to you eventually even if they are no help.

Item took ages to arrive, actually sent from USA not locally as expected.

AVOID THIS SITE, NOT A NZ SITE, SHIPS FROM OVERSEAS !
Like many I was also duped into thinking this was a NZ site ordering a gift only to discover it was shipping from the US and would take far longer than advertised. Little NZ based support and from other reviews, it's basically impossible to return a product and get a refund. AVOID!

My granddaughter can only use the Millie moon sensitivity wipes in Australia they are about $4 a packet they found it hard to get in New Zealand so I ordered online $119 for 250 baby wipes in a bag ridiculous price that’s around $40 a packet of baby wipes you guys are ripping people off never again don’t buy off this company

Its been 14 days. Still waiting for refund.
Purchased Christmas gift, 3 days later I followed up shipping information, was advised they were out of stock for the product I purchased.
I am still trying to get my money back, hundreds of dollars.
I am worried they are a scam

The company was prompt to let me know that my exact toy l was looking for wasn't available
However they offered me another which was gladly accepted and also a discount .
I felt the whole process of ordering on line was painless and personal which can be rare these days.
